EA Invite Hints at Battlefield 4 Reveal on March 26th (GDC)

Interestingly, the invitation includes a familiar color palette that’s extremely similar to the box art for Battlefield 3. Given that Battlefield 4 was recently shown to retailers and has yet to see an official announcement, could this be when EA will finally reveal the sequel?

Now this is one game where I don't give a damn if it is online only since I play Battlefield games for their multiplayer.

EA was pretty clear at one of their financial presentations that they decided to stick to their own marketing plans regardless of what the console vendors were doing, which is why they weren't at the PS4 event, and seemingly will be unveiling this game before the rumored April unveil of the next Xbox.

I hope it's always online and share stats with all my friends! After I pay full price for it too I can wait to sink my teeth into the Day 1 DLC, I wonder if I'll get a discount if I like it and share it on my facebook wall?

I hope they can the single player, or at least offer an option to just buy the MP. I mean, at least then they can do that online-only shit without screwing over customers entirely.

I am expecting a Dinosaur mode

Well you'll probably get everything but the discount, so 3/4 isn't bad!

edit: PS4 will also make some sort of appearance (devkit form) so they may also have a PS4 version for the demo?

Makes sense, but I have to say, Microsoft really need to get their skates on. In the consumer mindset, these big games will have PS4 announcements accompanying them, with no mention of the Nextbox at all. PS4 is essentially getting lots of early and free advertising.

I might have to wait until next year to play Battlefield 4 since we're just wrapping up Battlefield 3 and I'm not even close to being done.

To me single player and non online features are still important. That and I don't have much faith in EA's servers, and to a lesser degree the reliability of my ISP.

I meant to say always online and not online only. But ideally both lol.

Well that looks like actual bokeh instead of a dirt texture on the plus side, so it should only appear in logical situations!*

*Logical situations assumes your character has an optical camera for a head.

I just want the fully destructible buildings of BC2 to come back. Also wouldn't hurt if they toned the unlock system. BF3 went nuts in that department with things like tank unlocks and jet unlocks.

Until EA releases another Bad Company I'm not touching any of their games and even after that I won't.
Maybe Mirror's Edge 2 but that's it

I'll be buying CoD instead of both this year.
