Getting da HTC One. So sexy.
Those leaked pics actually make me happy. They made the messaging app not ugly now which really bugged me. Also the aluminium surrounding is good, definitely less cheap looking. Also 2600mah battery...that's my number one reason for considering to begin with.
Now I'm just curious how this screen thing plays out and the release date. Best pic of the surrounding:

Revealed tomorrow. Released in April if the rumours are true. This might be a stupid question, but is this thing releasing tomorrow or is it just being unveiled?
A lot of sites say the release date is March 14.
Taste the plastic, bitches.
I would take a thicker phone for a better battery life. The thinness is pretty impressive though.

Which starts to chip to pieces unless you cover it in a cheap rubber case.At least when apple does it, you get a premium feeling phone in your hands...

I don't see the big deal with plastic phones. The S3 feels fine to me. Mine's basically in mint condition, even though I've dropped it a few times. It's light and durable and I care more about that than it being made of "premium materials" that aren't durable and only force the price of the phone up.
Maybe it's the huge number of reports online from people who say their phone was chipped after just carrying it around in their pocket.I don't get why people have this mindset that if you touch the iPhone the wrong way or never use a case the iPhone freaking falls apart.
http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2410170,00.aspAre you noticing scratches, dings, and chips on your new iPhone 5? Don't worry, according to Apple's senior vice president of marketing Phil Schiller, that's "normal."
but it apparently has a 2600mAh battery.
Making the interface white doesn't make it less ugly imho. Still hate the look of those buttons and their placement. Those leaked pics actually make me happy. They made the messaging app not ugly now which really bugged me.
Glad they upped the battery capacity. Here's hoping the new processor is as power efficient as they've touted it to be.

rolling out the duct tape carpet?
Just curious, anyone who owns one, how is the build quality of the Xperia Z compared to the Galaxy phones. People have now started to concern me about Galaxy build quality.

I haven't used a case at all for any of my phones and they have no scratches, just a few nicks in some places.
You guys better hope the build quality isnt the same as the S3 or Note 2. Because those are shit. I own one.
If this thing looks exactly like GS3, how will people know I upgraded??

Rumours have surfaced about the Samsung Galaxy S4’s 4.99-inch 1080p Full HD display suggesting that the company may have invested in a new technology called Green PHOLED.
Previous Samsung devices have used Super AMOLED display tech, but Green PHOLED is, according to Phonearena’s tipsters, supposedly 25-33 per cent more battery friendly – an important consideration when you’re dealing with such a large, high resolution touch display.
Traditional OLED screens use organic light-emitting diodes (hence the name), while PHOLED use phosphorescent organic light-emitting diodes instead, which are supposed to be four times as energy efficient.
OLED displays are composed of several different types of diode- red, green and blue - in order to make up the picture on the screen. There is a slight problem with PHOLED though, in that blue PHOLEDs have a lifespan which is considerably shorter than that of their red and green counterparts.
According to the rumours, Samsung’s Green PHOLED hybridises conventional OLED tech for the blue diodes and uses the power-efficient PHOLED for the rest, creating a nice balance in screen longevity and battery life.
This is also good news for Galaxy S4 buyers with regard to overall phone lifespan on a single charge, because by far the biggest drain on current handsets is the display panel.
Historically, it’s also been fairly difficult to get decent resolutions and pixel densities out of OLED tech (at least compared to LCD), but Samsung’s rumoured 1080p Full HD resolution and 440 pixels-per-inch (ppi) pixel density has apparently been achieved by the use of a ‘diamond-shaped pixel matrix’.
So, Samsung’s Galaxy S4 display is shaping up to hit customer satisfaction on multiple fronts – a bigger, brighter and sharper picture which will allow the phone to run for longer.
The big Galaxy S4 launch event is scheduled to happen on Thursday March 14 this week at 11PM UK time. Stay tuned to Know Your Mobile for all the details as they’re announced.
We will find out tonight, but personally I think it is despite the LCD rumors.
It's so tiring.I think the back of the phone actually looks very nice in those shots above. The "CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP PLASTIC" crowd needs to give it a rest considering no one here will hold the thing for a few months.
