New Durango devkit Pic?

A lot of his interpretation and bias, it's all mentioned in the Kotaku article. It's probably why Kotaku didnt publish everything this guy said/gave to them.

edit: Plus he hasnt provided anything credible to his insistence that "specs have changed" bit.

It's things like that that make me question things that SuperDAE says.

Yes, I know the guy got a damn devkit. And he got raided. And he leaked some stuff. But that doesn't mean everything that comes out of his mouth is the word of god, especially recently.

This is probably a really dumb question but shouldn't they have dev kits with the actual Durango hardware out by now if they are going to be launching this fall? This PC has a standalone graphics card so it can not be using an APU.

if last Gen is anything to go by they still have a bit of time to deliver finalized stuff. Though this console seems more complex so I'm not sure if we can use last Gen time metrics.

Uhh, his possession of devkit was widely known before his arrest. He likes to keep trash talking on twitter and doesnt provide any leaks/info. I mean what story/bit did he break directly?

Yeah the is it new or old info is still rumbling. So now SuperDaE confirms he gave VGleaks all their docs and VGleaks have stated their info is from 2013.

Of course technically VGleaks aren't lying when they say 2013 because if SuperDaE is telling the truth the docs exchanged hands in January going by the tweets between the two.

I don't think it matters in the end because it is unlikely major changes will happen with the specs anyway IMO.

Apparently the source of the latest VGleaks info was accidentally revealed in their last article and it was not SuperDAE

Somethings I forget Durango even exists. If PS4 continues to be the more powerful console next gen, it's hard to have any interest in what MS is doing.

Well SuperDAE is through with leaks after all that it seems, I really can't imagine we'll get much more out of him cause the legality of everything in his life. He seems to be hoping they drop all the charges based off tweet history. And apparently he has PTSD.

Unless, you know, they have some incredible games.

Currently, I am 90% likely to get a ps4, 10% for nextbox ( yes not fully knowing makes it a bit early to say this, but I just prefer what SONY offer gaming wise and like their vision more than MS)

I would like it if MS had a good showing with good exclusives, competition is good!

Here we go^^^

I wish we could see those stickers better. Is that a Windows sticker, a dev kit identifier, or a new style sticker for a dev kit.

Stupid grainy pics.

Edit: Ok, looking at a bunch of Windows stickers that one closest to us doesn't look like a Windows sticker. I can't find a label that resembles that.

If there is a new Durango dev kit, then it could be using final silicon. As in, the completed Durango chip set has tapped out and the APU is final. If this isn't the final hardware build, it will need to happen soon if MS are planning a 2013 release. Same with the PS4 dev kits too.

It's not final silicon, that PC has a graphics card installed so it is not using an APU

Looks kinda like my toaster oven. Only my toaster oven is a little wider. I should post a pic of it.

That does look pretty big. I have an older Tricaster in my class that my students create news programs with. Looks almost the exact same formfactor as my Tricaster, especially from behind. If you were to google image search Tricaster Rear you would see what I am talking about.

With everything going multiplat these days and Microsoft having very sparse first party support (unless you're a diehard Halo guy) they really need to step their game up next gen (at least in my eyes).

No point buying a weaker system if better games exists elsewhere.

Putting the Mini ITX dev kit size in relation to the chair as well as trash can in the back, I can surmise the case dimensions (W x H x D) to be exactly 250 x 210 x 374 mm

Well power isn't everything. No one knows what types of experiences or games they have cooking up.

When it comes to value and getting a good experience, I see power as being important.

If both consoles offer the same games, have the same content, but only one of them has better graphics, I see very little reason to go for the inferior copy.

This is where I see Durango. Unless the next Kinect offers something game changing, it's going to be an inferior "me too" console.

The 360 is a great console with loads of content. The past few years have been limited in first party retail releases but xbla is really good. I think people need to wait until announcement before they write it off. That being said if they announce with kinectimals I'm jumping out completely. I will probably get both consoles because I love halo gears Alan wake and uncharted.

I don't doubt that, but I think securing a new (non-SuperDaE) source is proving much more difficult for VGleaks. If it is true they put up a unedited pic with the new sources Gaf handle they'll find it impossible to get another going forward I would think!

Unless they are the source! /shyamalantwist

Power generations won't last much longer. Newer experiences and innovations will change the landscape in the coming years. Maybe not this one, or maybe this one. We simply have no clue what MS is really doing. Just because we know specs, doesn't mean we know what they plan to do with them.

PC? No eyetoy, no Kinect and graphics superior to both, plus cheaper games and decades of backwards compatibility. They're pretty awesome.

So the PS4 was 8 Jaguar ducktaped, and now seems confirmed that Durango is 8 Game Cube ducktaped.

Secret Sauce >>>>>>> GDD5, now PS4 is a farmer with a shotgun and Durango is Goku level 4.

just kiddin. Guys, they just bought a new PC for the office :P

I'm thinking it may be a Steambox kit. It's a bit too fat and odd of a form factor for a console kit and we have pics of the January PS4 devkits, doubt new ones are coming soon. I also don't see a Kinect port so that seems to rule out Durango.

Kinect port is USB.
