This nonsense was hardly intentional, it wouldn't have caused half as much of a stir if you all weren't so easily trolled by 4chan.

Nvidia's tech wasn't anywhere near Joakim levels of realism. Don't worry, if i show it to my mom she'd think it was like real life too.
It was a nice little scoop for Geoff that he could reveal that The Phantom Pain was officially running on the Fox engine.

My problem with this thing is that he is a guy wearing a bandage around his face. I am no expert on graphics fidelity but I think that is kind of weird. Just show the game.

#TeamReal because I refuse to believe that they would spend the time to render a guy's face with bandages on it.

Kojima made a whole trailer where we thought Snake would be the main character of MGS2 in levels we never got to play.

Kojima also made an entire trailer of snake playing musical chairs with soldiers and Raiden when he could have just said "I am making MGS4".

Not saying Joakim isn't real, I'm just saying Kojima loves spending an awful amount of time on promos to get people hype (with an added touch of misdirection).

They never foresaw this "debate"... it's so weird you cannot predict this... it just proves gaf is even weirder and dorkier than Kojima.

Yeah but then there's the PS4 face demo which looked good but you could tell is CG. Joakim actor thingy was a real dude.

I guess I was wrong, you haven't posted that peculiar message that much, but your tone throughout this thread has been pretty grating. You're of course allowed to express yourself, but the snooty and borderline hostile tone you've had hasn't contributed much really.
 
Honestly, I can;t believe most people think its real.

I thought I'd see 80% on Team CG. It's clearly CG. I mean, the guy looks so CG like in his mannerisms. I don't even see how its real. I'm prepared to be wrong but I just can't see it.

Seriously though, whether or not this is CG does not bother me the slightest. What I'm taking potshots at are the antics of some who, in my opinion, are just taking it a bit too far. Hence the snooty tone.

Carnival of Stupid Revengence has been a lot of fun so far. No matter how things turn out a bunch of people are going to eat a ton of crow.
