From my experience, matroska is usually the last video format to be supported by non-PC devices because of it's popularity in pirated videos.
Don't expect any subtittles support anytime soon ether!

An off topic question, but is there any way to increase the text size when reading mobile GAF? Everything is so microscopic on the Vita.

Well I found this one witch looks miles better and it works for the WiiU.

I set up a small web with a video tag and it look like video tags don't actually work. I'm slightly dissapointed.

Now its time to look at how is youtube actually delivering video to the Vita.

They've done something with downloading/installing from PSN.
I just grabbed VLR from PS+, took about 30min to download and 5s to install. WOW

Yeah. The Vita really needed this. I'm also happy that I only have to choose one really awesome wallpaper instead of several different ones. I guess I could have done that before but the temptation to use different wallpapers for each screen was too great.

Switching back and forth between JPN and US accounts over two cards, I've found that bubbles still revert back to their factory default positions unfortunately

Wow...I had 10 pages before this update, and now I'm down to 3, with most of the icons/apps in folders.
I currently have 2 main pages: One for Persona games, and one for FF. The only FF games I'd have on the Vita are gonna be: FF4, 9, 012 Dissidia, X and X-2.
As such, could someone provide some FF series background images for the Vita please?

It's unclear but it isn't just like.. a video player in the browser. When you hit play it's almost as if a mini Youtube app opens to play the video.

OK this is weird:
2 PSN accounts (NA & EU) and 2 cards.
NA backup to computer -> system format -> switching cards.
EU account up -> some layount changes -> EU backup to computer.
EU format -> switching cards -> restore NA backup = LAYOUT SAVED
NA format -> switching cards -> restore EU backup = LAYOUT SAVED

Went with no wallpaper, just a black background and it's quite effective on the black console.

Because some regions don't have the app? Also the webpage offers extra functionality over the Vita app as well.

don't care about video, but two big updates

- folders, finally. Was already juggling lots of PSone games
- remembering icons per memory card. Makes it feasible to switch accounts finally again

Well.. yeah, but I always leave a game in and the icon was never there before the 2.10 update. Like I said, I know it's a small thing, but I was wondering if anyone else had tried to remove it. I looked through the settings this morning before I left for work but didn't find anything.

Completely missing the point of folders. The limit is still 100 games. I am not buying a single Vita game until they increase the limit. Tough shit, Sony.

Why would I use folders if it doesn't increase the game quantity?! I have already deleted a game too many. I didn't even redeem the free games for Vita anniversary bullshit because I see no reason to.

So my vita downloaded the 2.10 update via ps plus, this morning while plugged in, I went to update, took a dump during the progress screen, and now it won't turn on. Black screen, blue ps button lit.

Any suggestions?
