Boston: One dead, one captured, city re-opened

Okay since jimmies appear to be becoming irreversibly rustled I'm going to make one last comment. As a foreigner living here I think that the main things which make America and Americans so incredible are the ideas of freedom and equality upon which the nation was founded, and I don't think that people should be so quick to dismiss possible violations of those wonderful and noble principles when the shit hits the fan.

Now let's get back to making fun of CNN.

I do agree we have those rights. I think most people would allow it if only to give a measure of peace to their neighbors and possibly even to the police who are just trying to protect the peace. I haven't heard about anyone refusing entry and then having the police force their way in anyway though. Personally, I would probably deny them entry in my locked up home if I had been there armed during this entire situation, but would likely allow them to search the yard and outlying unconnected buildings that I had no direct control over and knowledge about.
 
It seems more likely this guy got shot in the shootout, bled out, and died in a ditch somewhere. It's a lot more probable than a nineteen year old proving too elusive for the police, FBI, and national guard.
 
I actually just checked info wars for the fuck of it to see what the official conspiracy is.

Apparently FBI contractors lined the bomb site and after the bomb exploded moved to different areas to talk on their communication equipment. LOL.

I don't know but I don't think they would be illegal searches even if they did refuse.

And fresh/hot pursuit are not the same. Hot pursuit is chasing the suspect and following him into a building/residence without losing sight of him.

Fresh pursuit is similar, but you don't see where he went, but know he's somewhere in the nearby area. You can't go into a building/residence without a warrant under fresh pursuit rules.

I've been a police officer 10 years. They are similar, but the rules change for each.
 
The narrative that's shaping around this event is quite scary for many immigrants in America. The xenophobic nature that was once only part of right wingers and old people is definitely going to be a common trope by many less cultured folks on both sides of the aisle.

And since last night, no one found him in the ditch? Is that really probable? Not sure I agree. But hey, its been a crazy week.

Don't forget Craft being present the day of the marathon. I love a good conspiracy, but I just don't think there's one here.

These dudes fucked things up for a lot of future asylum seekers, that much is for sure.

So your solution is what? Call off the manhunt? And when you, as a person in authority, make this call and he shoots or blows up a bunch of people?

Who is idolizing him? He's being hunted like an animal through the streets of the city. If they catch him, they'll probably have to shoot him, and then his corpse is likely to be displayed to the world like his brother. If they find him, he gets an ignominious end.

If he escapes because we call off the manhunt, then he is a hero to certain people. He attacked the city and got away. Not to mention that he gets another chance to attack people.

No one wants to lock Boston down. It's incredibly inconvenient to everyone involved, but it's better than the alternatives.
 
I find it amusing that because there were plain clothes security officers at something as huge as the Boston Marathon, apparently that= government hired them to bomb the place.
