Doesn't matter, he's not getting the death penalty regardless if it's now a federal issue. Terrorists who have caused more damaged are locked up and had the key thrown away.
Nice try.

Just what a shitty week....just fucking terrible...4 people died and nearly 200 people injured. People losing limbs. All because they were at the wrong place at the wrong time. Just an unfair world.
MSNBC just did an interview with the neighbor of the family since years ago.
She seemed really surprised that it's them. She said (as Christians) they broke bread with the family, was a smart family, nice family.
As of right now, there is definitely no known motive and all people who knew him are just stunned they did this.

There is no death penalty in the Commonwealth.
He's 19 and it's pretty apparent he wasn't like his brother. He didn't want to die. He was running scared and he gave himself up. He could have killed himself at any point. He'll talk. Like what others have said, I think his brother was the mastermind and had significant influence over his younger brother. I wouldn't be surprised if it was the older brother who killed the cop too.
Rubenov said:I'm still laughing at fence-jumper agent. Oh man I need to get some sleep.
It is up to the prosecutors. Sometimes they don't go for the death penalty in order to get an admission. In this case, I don't think the suspect has much leverage.Doesn't matter, he's not getting the death penalty regardless if it's now a federal issue. Yeah it was good. Even though bunch of fake shit was posted right next to it was real stuff. It was something else.
He killed that MIT officer?
We still need clarity on the 7/11 coincidence.
Where's the VINE link? That was the best
He might have escaped if he hadn't fled into the Nightmare Zone

Fox's Eric Shawn reporting that law enforcement authorities told him they got ZERO information from any of the brothers' family or extended family after the photos were distributed.
Disgusting.
He'll be charged in federal court. There's no death penalty in the Commonwealth, but if he's charged in federal court they have the death penalty. The fact they had a U.S. Attorney (federal prosecutor) at the press conference means he'll be charged with federal crimes. I'm not a fan of the death penalty and the guy is 19, so who knows what will happen. If I were him I'd be begging for the death penalty instead of being kept alive in a super max Fed prison where you are locked up 23 hours of the day.

You guys are soft....
Eye for an eye.
It's Islam. Radical, of course. Good luck with that.
The American Left criticized Bush. In this case, I think it's fair to investigate the thing regarding the older brother and the FBI.
I saw the picture of the older brother dead with a hole in his chest, and full of blood, and I must admit I felt a strange sense of satisfaction seeing the fucker in that state. But then I took a step back and it scared the shit out of me that I had displayed that emotion. We are better than to let our emotions get the best of us. Justice must prevail.
In the words of Friedrich Nietzsche:
"He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you."
Is the flag waving really necessary?
How many of those terrorists committed an act on US soil? None of them.
I hope he stays in solitary until he rots.
Not surprised. A few of them were adamant he is innocent
It really was the best. This thread and a scanner link were all you needed.

Take solace in the madness ending.

Server died right when the good shit was about to go down. Then it was up for the grand finale and then died again. What a ride.
This is going to sound unusual, but they should not do the terrible things some people have mentioned to this kid. They need to actually be quite amicable, and investigate exactly how and why these guys did what they did. The fact that ordinary American residents such as this, who were seemingly well assimilated, were able to carry out such atrocities, is a hugely dangerous and scary thing. Instead of being draconian they need to be diplomatic and intelligent in how they extract information to get the maximum amount of co-operation from him.
Whatever led to this kid being able to be so grossly misdirected, needs to be understood, stamped out and dealt with at the core level.

Probably been posted before but missed it. Imagine looking out your window and seeing this.

I don't know, the video of the shootout where they found him sounds pretty intense. He's 19 and it's pretty apparent he wasn't like his brother. He didn't want to die. Glad they got him. Good job BPD, SWAT, FBI, ATF, National Guard, and any other agencies that helped out with this!!
