Skylanders Swapforce was announced in February. To the shock and awe of no one a Vita version wasn't announced.
Ah, okay. Yeah, that doesn't surprise me.

the thing about Invizimals that it needed to be more like Digimon and Pokemon and this something the fans were saying for long time,it needed more meat, now the more is on PS3 and the bones and same as the old for Vita, but it's not only that, this is Sony telling Invizimals fans to buy PS3 and the PS3 version instead because it has everything the Vita version get (VS mode in PS3)and more.
and why SCE think it's very smart for PS3 to get PSP IPs and get them as mainline and "bigger than ever" yet Vita cant get the Sony consoles ones (and when do they are small spinoff)?
I'm saying if HYPOTHETICALLY, Nintendo made the Vita the exact way it is today; Somewhat expensive hardware, deeply integrated OS and all. For starters, memory would definitely be cheaper or just be the SD format.
Yeah, I'm sure it would.
And it'd be region locked and only have 1 analog stick, etc.
It's a different platform from a different company with different ideals.
Do you even read what you quote?
Yeah, I did.

Nintendo would probably commit sudoku if they had to support two HD platforms at once. It's quite clear they're struggling with Wii U development so who knows how bad it would be if they had a platform like Vita as well.
commit sudoku?![]()
There.
It's pointless to even entertain the possibility because Vita is something Nintendo would never make. Their handhelds have always been underpowered compared to the competition, so your hypothetical is like asking us to presuppose that water isn't wet.I'm saying if HYPOTHETICALLY, Nintendo made the Vita the exact way it is today; Somewhat expensive hardware, deeply integrated OS and all. Or this.Yeah, that doesn't fix my problem with your "hypotheticals".
Toto's posts are fairly entertaining to read and he does make some good points and so does B.O.O.M..The promise of the Vita was console quality hardware for console quality games with full support from Sony's first parties and while Indie games and years old ports are 'fine and dandy' they should never ever be the only new games announced for a platform's second or any year.I'm pretty sure that no news about any major Vita game is leaking because there is nothing to leak. This year it will be officially put to it's death bed by Sony in favor of the PS4 but it's disheartening to see Sony lose confidence in such a well designed platform this early. It's terrible that the last major game announced for the Vita was Soul Sacrifice nearly a year ago (KZ was already announced at the NGP reveal and Tearaway is not what I'd call a big game). All this affects the outlook of the system as well and now if you ask anyone who is even casually interested in games anything about the Vita the only thing he'll probably know is that it has no games.
I barely got any use out of my Vita this year bar the SS demo which is pretty fun![]()
If Sony would have gotten their head out of their asses they would have put SD/Micro SD cards on the Vita. The loss they would have taken on proprietary cards would have paid off with digital sales. On the PSP I always used a Micro to PRODUO adapter. The thought of purchasing a PSP never crossed my mind until I knew you could do that.

Invizimals on PS3 feels like a tie-in to the cartoon:
Where as the Vita game appears to be continuing onwards with the FMV cutscenes and stuff from the PSP games.
The developer for the PS3 game has a questionable history so I'm not sure we lost out ...

The point he's trying to make is that Nintendo would handle Sony's IPs on a portable better than Sony.Yeah, if anything I'd be more worried about the PS3 version killing the series.
So what, your hypothetical scenario is that Nintendo's exactly the same as Sony but don't favour proprietary memory for their handhelds? Hilariously absurd.
The heck is Atelier Totori Plus?
I see loli, I see RPG?, I see $39.99!!
isn't the wii u currently outpacing the vita right now? regardless, i just don't see what pleasure anyone derives from seeing either company struggle like this. *sigh*
If Sony is going to commit to all of this cross functionality between the Vita and PS4 I somewhat doubt that they put it to its death. Its one reason why I feel there could still be some hope for Vita, because its going to be very hard for Sony to sell a $200 ps4 controller.

I'm not saying I agree with that BTW.He's trying to find a weird middleground with his hypotheticals and I don't think it's working.I think the main point he's trying to make is that Nintendo handles their IPs on a portable better than Sony.Still ridiculous. Nintendo wouldn't have a bloody clue what to do with Sony's IPs.

Sony could do well to follow Nintendo's platform focus strategy, though. Nintendo may actually focus a little more on handheld than console, but they still both get a lot of focus. Unfortunately, whereas Nintendo is probably, say, 60% focus on handhelds and 40% focus on console, Sony seems to be more like 80% console 20% handheld.
Of course.Well duh, see: Resistance: Burning Skies vs. Luigi's Mansion 2
Well, quality revivals like Kid Icarus and smart localizations like Bravely Default demonstrate a certain shrewdness that has all but eluded Sony's handling of Vita. I wish they'd use Vita as a test bed for some of their phantom IP like Dark Cloud and Ape Escape (and Demon's Souls, lol).Still ridiculous. Nintendo wouldn't have a bloody clue what to do with Sony's IPs.
To the both of you, thank you. Even after reexplaining myself, some people just don't get it. I used the SD Card argument as an example, not the only change Nintendo would make.
When the Wii came out, did Nintendo drop the DS completely? No. When the PS3 was ANNOUNCED, did Sony forget about the PSP? For the most part, yes they did. They even admitted that last year.
Just wondering if TitS is any good? Quite itching for a JRPG after finishing P4G a couple of weeks ago.
Ive had more fun with dragon fantasy book 1 than most "bigger" RPGs this gen. Tons of writing thats completely self-aware of its own genre and little things hidden for those who like to poke and search every drawer and pot.
(In the beginning of the game, a dark knight attempts to kidnap the kingdom's prince but confuses him for his brother... who has the same sprite.)
Lolz. So worth 8bucks? I was just going to wait on Book 2.

So with the news of sly collection what else would we like to see?
I would love a Spyro or Crash collection. Or maybe even ICO & SOTC
Remote Play is to me an admission that Sony has given up on producing native software for Vita.
Well duh, see: Resistance: Burning Skies vs. Luigi's Mansion 2
SCEA should have never went after COD....

I am feeling a bit fishy now that no wonder sony did not release patches for remote play on these collections!
In terms of collections already on PS3, I'd like to see DMC and Ratchet&Clank. If we talk about new ps2 HD ports/collection, Burnout 3/Revenge and DQVIII are crossing my mind right now
