Nope. It is now a 'small' app so you can now watch youtube videos while playing a game.
Awesome!!! This should have been how the youtube app functions from the start.
I want more (western)open world goodness(saint row spinoff, fallout 3 or 4 spinoff and might & magic vi remake would be awesome)
I would lick a dolphins eyeballs for a Bethesda RPG on Vita. Won't ever happen though.
I too would kill for an open world, Bethesda like or not RPG on the Vita. Here's some hope though:
When the PS4 launches, assuming future Bethesda open world RPGs are on it, they will be stream-able to the Vita. This is if Sony comes through with their promise/mandate that all PS4 games must come with a master copy for the Vita streaming/button mapping. I know, it's not the same as having it running on the Vita itself but we all know that'll probably never happen.
Don't confuse ineptitude with lack of caring. Promotion, clear messaging and shitty store updates are also a problem for the ps3 in North America.
It's also worth pointing out that this entire indie outreach has been an SCEA endeavor. So if SCEA didn't exist the vita would have had about 5 releases in 2013.
True, the indie thing is really cool but overall I think it's just been a shame, their handling of the Vita :\ Most people don't even know it exists or if they do, it's just "that platform with no games", or something along the lines of that. We all know that's not the case but I just think it's a shame.
I think the overall feeling is that they just don't care, or they're giving it a half-hearted approach. SSM and Naughty Dog generally don't want to touch the thing when it comes to their main projects, the same with many of their other studios. I understand Sony generally is very flexible with their devs but this should not be the case.
This is their new handheld, if they want it to succeed they should start getting more splinter teams working on smaller Vita projects, at the very least - like Guerilla Cambridge and the small team within MM, both making KZ: Mercenary and Tearaway. Hopefully I'm proven wrong at E3 and Sony pulls off all the stops and comes out with a few new Vita IPS ... their track record is hinting that we'll probably be let down though.
