So this is the first season I've watched The Voice. Has the chemistry between the judges been this good in the past? Or better? I haven't really watched any other music/talent shows like this before because I was always bored of what I saw but for some reason the Adam/Shakira/Usher/Blake combo makes me laugh. And hell, it even made me like Adam even though I still don't like his music. *chuckles*

Yeah, The Voice has done WONDERS for his image/career. Maroon 5 hadn't done anything in ages but this helped turn them back into one of the top pop bands around. He comes across as such a great guy on the show. It's definitely helped Blake tons.

In the past, Adam and Blake had amazing chemistry, everyone hated Xtina and Cee Lo was just kinda weird and silly. This season has been the best by far. Shakira is obviously beautiful but she is also sweet and that has gone a long way. Christina was always REALLY catty -- I guess we'll see how it goes when it's live with Shakira.

Usher has been a fantastic addition. I'm always impressed with his critiques and he doesn't usually sugarcoat it but he's still polite about it.

Although it was announced as temporary, I hope they stick with these two judges going forward.

i prefer this quartet of coaches.
Shakira imo is mile ahead of Christina. Christina came off so bitchy and catty especially the last season when she knew her singer were not up to par to what the other coaches had. Usher has grown on me as the season has progressed.

Man, Christina can stay home. Shakira is a much better coach/judge than her. Although, I assume Shakira's got a lot more stuff going on besides the show, so it might also be a scheduling issue.

Swap usher for cee lo and keep Shakira and we got a deal. I really enjoy the format, talent and coaches much more than American idol.

Cee Lo was on Ellen recently and he said he will definitely be back next season. I would rather they keep the same numbers of judges and replace Shakira with him but they wont want all male judges. I am really worried about the 6 judge rumor, it will make the show drag so much plus I am worried about the six of them interacting together.

I really liked Savannah's take on that song, but she was absolutely buried under the music until the end. Justin certainly has a voice when he Aguileras, but when he was singing the actual song he was pretty weak.

God what a hideous night of music.

I don't really like anyone from the entire night. Only person I would kinda like to see more of went home due to an awful choice of song.

Oh well.

Adam has this one in the bag.

Hey wow, the good singing competition is finally live again. Will watch on DVR later to skip through Carson and the commercials. Initial impression is that Adam's team is unbeatable.

Josiah and Vito are on kind of the same level, which is a few steps below everyone else that has performed tonight.

Even the Team Adam group act sounded better than Usher's. He's got a strong team, although the Sarah McLaughlin girl can't last much longer. Nice voice, but can't really do anything with it.

Caroline Glaser?

If that's who you are talking about, I knew from early on she probably wouldn't get far, but man her voice is so fucking amazing and I think she will make it outside of the voice. Even if smaller scale wise.

Wow, Judith.

She doesn't belong on a show like this. She's too good. Adam's team is rock solid. Some of the best singers I've heard/seen in a singing competition in quote awhile.

Did I hear them right? Is this going to be on Wednesday up against Idol? Voice is destroying Idol in ratings this season, but I wonder what going head-to-head would do for them, especially with Idol in the home stretch and Voice airing on a night people dont expect it to be on.

I totally agree that Judith shouldnt be on this show. She is a professional with years of experience. She is going to win it easily.

Yeah, despite the fact that she's awesome, I'm hoping she stumbles and gets knocked out.

Amanda last season was also a professional back-up, and she eventually faltered.

Yah, it'll be on Wednesday for the results show. Even bringing back Cee-Lo as a musical act!

Judith is an amazing singer, but from what I've seen so far she kinda lacks the charisma to sing lead. Maybe that's something you grow into. Her voice though...wow.

Yes, I feel like former pro backup singers really shouldn't be allowed on the show. They seem to squeeze out the better amateur talent, and I think the show should focus more on that.

Ratings for last night were down 8 percent. Not quite the disaster that Idol has become, but it should be a wake-up call to producers that maybe you shouldn't take so long between auditions and the Live shows. Could also be caused by a distinct lack of personality of the artists.

not really, in season one and last season their were former back up singers that failed to win. i honestly feel that Judith is topped out and will struggle when they try and stretch her. plus usually when it comes to Americas vote expect the unexpected

I missed it, did Danielle Bradbery get voted in by the audience?

I saw she got her song to #1 on country iTunes and #5 overall.

Yeah, both women on Blake's team got voted in by America. Only issue I had was Adam letting Caroline go. In my opinion hers was the best performance of the week. Sad to see her go.

At this point, Amber is my favorite on the show. I like Judith and think she is ultra talented, but I have a hard time imagining her on the radio and being a popular pop artist.

Amber on the other hand... I expect her to maybe be one of those few artists that actual gets traction coming out of one of these singing shows and has some real impact. As much praise as that little girl gets on Blake's team and how they say she will be a star, I think Amber is in a different league vocally, and isn't just a novelty.

Hahahaha. Shakira keeps tanking whatever tiny chances Garret had by saddling him with a fucking Backstreet Boys song one week after sending him to die with Imagine.

My god that version of imagine he did was beyond horrible. I still cant believe he is on the show after that.

Bad song choice for Michelle. Still my personal favorite, but that might get her knocked out.

She just doesn't have the vocal power to not be overwhelmed by the backing music. Caroline had the same problem. It isn't that big a deal when it is an acoustic set, but on anything up-tempo it will tank you.

Karina got swallowed up by "Are You Gonna Go My Way?"

Christina Aguilera returning to 'The Voice':

Apparently, what a girl wants is an NBC homecoming. Original Voice judge Christina Aguilera will return for the fifth season of the peacock’s reality hit, sources confirm to EW. (TheWrap first reported the news.)

Aguilera and fellow original judge Cee Lo Green exited the series last winter at the end of season 3 to focus on their own music careers. Aguilera has been promoting her Lotus album and tour, while Green is working on his solo album Girl Power, as well as a reality show for TBS. They were replaced by Usher and Shakira for The Voice‘s spring edition, though NBC always expected both musicians to be back for the fall of 2013. And though Green has yet to sign a contract, he is reportedly also nearing a deal to return to the singing competition.

Sources say that Aguilera’s own contract is for about $12 million, a number exceeded by the paydays given to one-season wonders such as American Idol‘s Mariah Carey (widely reported to be $18 million) and The X Factor‘s Britney Spears ($15 million).
