Swon Bros and Sarah Sims were the weakest tonight. Michelle Bradbery was not as good as usual, but Ok. Strong night overall. Skyfall was amazing, Grenade and Done were great too.

She and Judith are all I'll remember from tonight. I usually enjoy Sasha but she's starting to sound a little samey.
Anyway... hopefully the Duo gets the boot since they are terrible. As far as the others, don't care as long as Judith and Amber are safe.

They announced yesterday Xtina and Cee-lo are coming back and Usher and Shakira are out. Those 2 could come back for season 6 though they said.

Which is weird because they fake fought with CeeLo and Christina all the time, but with Usher, they are fake nice?

Yeah... but she made it worse than it had to be. First half of the song was pretty boring, but passable. Then in second half she started getting growly and I literally had to FF it was so bad. Better to be a bit boring (and hope you fans keep you in the competition knowing you had an off week) than to be bad. Should have just sung it straight up and maybe did some artsy, breathy stuff in her high registry to give it a little flare at the end... instead she got all weird and growly with it, and it was so bad.
Alright seriously, there must be some sort of bizarro Country Illuminati voting shenanigans going on for this, right? I understand Sarah going after her odd performance and it's felt like she's been on the verge a couple of times, but Judith is one of the best talents and has been consistently described as one of the favorites for a long time now. And she loses out to both Holly and the Swon Bros?! Some sort of weird grassroots thing has got to be going on for Blake to be two artists up on everybody else.

Their are literally four country artist left on the voice. It is basically Nashville star at this point. I fully expect Sasha and Michelle to get the boot next week. Danielle's gonna win the show it is pretty much over. Itunes votes pretty much determine the winner on the show especially with the rules they have in place now and Blake's fans the last three seasons have pretty much taken over the show.
nah the country vote is just that heavy on these singing shows. fucking Tate Stephens won X-Factor ffs.

Yes it is I was actually shocked when a country artist did not win american idol this year even though it was close.
Took the words right out of my mouth. Adam was obviously in disbelief as well.
To be fair, the Swons have grown on me a little bit over time as far as their singing goes, but I feel like the whole team's one-note approach is working better than it probably should. Holly doesn't stand out to me at all, Danielle is good and young, but even putting aside that I'm not a fan of country music, I don't listen to any of them sing and go "man, that sounds really good and unique." Danielle is probably the closest, the others...eh. Give me Judith back and resurrect Ryan Innes and I would be a much happier viewer of the show. At this point if Michelle gets cut then I'm not going to bother watching anymore, and three Team Blake winners in a row pretty much tells me that I shouldn't waste time watching future seasons into the live rounds either.
I don't even like country (a ton of my friends do though so I get exposed to it more than I care to) but Danielle was at worst the 2nd best of the folks that made it to the top 16. Now that Judith's gone I think she's going to walk this competition. Blake is going to make a star out of that girl. Sasha's my second favorite act left but Michelle is the only one I think that has a shot at beating Danielle.

God, I hope Michelle or Sasha wins this. I can't stand all this country music. They will be the only reason I watch the show anymore.

I'm really bummed about Judith having to leave as well. I'm trying to convince myself to keep watching the show since but, its gonna be hard I'll probably just peak at the performances and go back to doing something else like I have been doing since the judge's comments are completely useless on this show.

The problem is she started with a william song. If you're going to do that, since you can't pick a good song...at least get a popular one.
Everyone saying Judith will have a huge career... she has been around for awhile and hasn't made it any further than being a singer with MJ on his tour that never happened. I'm not saying she isn't a phenomenal singer, but there has to be a reason she hasn't made it yet.
Danielle while very young, is going to be made into a Country superstar, the writing is on the wall for sure... I just hope she doesn't get turned into the next Taylor Swift with more pop than anything.

I'm surprised Judith went, but that was one of the most forgetable perfromances of the week. Of course, some of the less-forgetable ones were *bad*...

I am stunned that Judith got voted off. I thought that she was by far the best person this season. They have to do something to limit the amount of country on the show. I am not going to watch this show if it is just country acts, especially acts as terrible as the Swan Bothers are.
i don't think its a problem w/ the acts or Blake. just the fanbase and the methods of vote counting. plus that pop country shit is in now anyway.
At this point, it's Blake's fans watching this show. As long as he's there, and as long as he continues to focus on Country acts, it looks like that's all we'll get.
They need to either get rid of Blake, or the producers need to have him diversify the acts he picks. Although I'm not sure the latter would work, if Jermaine is anything to go by.
Either way, they need to diffuse the Country vote by next season. They don't want to end up in the same boat as Idol -- with ratings tanking because they kowtowed so much to one demographic that the show became completely uninteresting to everyone else.
All I can say about Judith and Sarah getting ousted is, I hope that doesn't become the moment The Voice turned into American Idol. As far as Danielle walking away with the competition...In no way does she deserve the title. I am very impressed with her vocal ability - as it has been said - at such a young age.
She does sound country perfect at times. But due to the fact she has basically ZERO performance skills (readily admitted), her performance is boring as hell and very awkward to watch. Again, simply because of her lack of performance experience. She has no clue what to do with herself on the stage and it compounds when you add in any other performer with her. Uncomfortable body posture/movement, no emotional connection to the song, darting eye movements, disconnect from audience and on and on.
Do I see her succeeding with proper coaching and guidance in the years ahead, absolutely. Should she win? No.

Whoa, the audience of this show is absolutely terrible. Judith was by far the best performance, and she gets kicked out so 3 or 4 freaking country singers move on to next round.

I actually thought her last performance was "meh." Still better than half the acts, and almost every week she's had the best or second-best performance.

Apparently the voting public resented her because they thought she was too professional for the show and already had her big break.
well that's definitely why i didnt expect her to win. so it wouldnt surprise me if that was the case overall.
i never really complain how it shakes out because i'm not voting or buying the songs on iTunes. i just watch the show for entertainment, so how mad can i really be?
What's personally disappointing for me is that this past week basically assures that Blake will win, regardless of how the rest of the performances actually play out. Such a huge country focus in the final six pretty much assures that a lot of non-country fans will drop out from watching and voting on the show now, which makes it even easier for Team Blake and the country contingent to dominate voting lines. At this point I fully expect Sasha and Michelle to get the boot next week and further pave the way for Danielle's easy victory, and it will have so little to do with her actually being at all close to the best singer on the show. Very disappointing.

Amber can still possibly win. If it gets down to just country people, she can do that... and she's better than the others. As long as Adam picks the right songs she could be in the game until the end even with the country vote getting stupid like it is.
