That bums me out because although I've never seen the Christina/Cee Lo seasons, I really like the dynamic between this set of judges.

Man, I love Cee Lo and would love his return, but I don't miss Christina at all. Shakira is much more entertaining.

I also love Usher's style, but would take Cee Lo back in a heartbeat.

I am sad she is back. I hated how bitchy and annoying she is. Usher is super critical but at least he isnt a jerk about it. The fact that not only is she back but she got a huge raise seems insane to me.

Ugh, definitely don't want Christina back. But if that's the price we pay for CeeLo, I'm OK with it.

The song choice for Judith was perfect last night. Killed it again.

This is my first season watching The Voice and I've found it oddly compelling.

That said, something about Carson Daily hosting it has really been annoying me.

Vito and Garrett were eliminated tonight.

Really there isn't much more fat to be trimmed.

Josiah is going home in the near future. Dude is pretty, but lacks actual charisma and his voice isn't good enough.

Michelle is wildly likable, but unfortunately she lacks any sort of vocal power. I think she will survive the next round of cuts just based on her likability, but eventually will be overwhelmed by the competing talent.

Danielle is my bet to win it all. She has a great voice, is very likable and is cute as a button.

The only thing I don't care for on the show is how every single person needs to have a back story and a "nickname" ("The pastor's kid turned bad" or "The single dad of 3" for example).

Just let them sing for fucks sake and interact with their mentors.

I definitely agree that Josiah is the worst singer left now, and it isnt even close.

Disappointing that Aguilera is returning. Don't really know what to think about Cee Lo (possibly) returning. At times he was vastly entertaining and at other times it was as though he wasn't even there.

Shakira is a huuuuuge improvement over Bustina, and I prefer Usher over Cee Lo. Usher definitely seems really invested in his team members, and I like his coaching style.

I miss Cee-lo. He was almost childlike in somethings, and it was really funny to watch him lust over every single girl on the show. They definitely need to get him back.

I Agree Cee Lo seemed checked out on Season 3. But when he was on, he was great. And he made his perfomers more interesting.

User is really good, though.

I, for one, am glad Christina is coming back. She's The Voice's Simon: tough as nails and doesn't give a fuck. Shakira is good, but boring in comparison. Not to mention she doesn't seem aware of what's going on half the time. Just keeping it real.

ANYWAY.

Judith, GURL...WHERE have you been all my life?

Id be happy if Cee lo comes back over usher,

usher is boring and cares more about dancing and looks than singing, I see why its important but that doesn't mean i like it

christina is a terrible coach, makes terrible picks, and is a terrible judge who hates on people for no real reason (see amanda brown)

So, because she "hated" Amanda Brown she hates on everyone?

I guess the times she supported other coaches' contestants even when the coach themselves didn't doesn't count then (Katrina Parker)? No, she hated Amanda "Stank Eyes" Brown. Stone her.

Or when she gave Melanie the suggestion to sing a Fiona Apple song and it ended up being one of her best vocals on the show. Nope. Terrible coach who makes terrible picks.

Usher and Shakira just seem to make the show so much more boring. I've hardly been invested at all in this season; though that may be partially because I simply don't have a favorite contestant. There haven't been any "Roxanne"-level breakout songs yet.

I despise Christina (she just loads up on pop girls, mishandles those who aren't, and chooses random grudges against other coaches' contestants), but she's just more entertaining and plays off the other coaches better. Cee Lo is amazing and I dearly want him back.

Oh, and if they don't get rid of the Christina Millian woman by next season, I may lose my mind. The personification of an all-around annoying human being, and she's only there for social media marketing.

I like the judges chemistry much more this season. I wouldn't mind Cee-Lo coming back because I really don't like Usher but he's cool on here. In a perfect world The-Dream would be a superstar and a judge on this show. I'd love that so much.
I'm not fond of Xtina returning at all. I love the show but she really puts me off.

IDK what the hell Christina Milian's purpose is though. She's hot and really sweet (^^^all around annoying human being? really?) but she has no purpose. Sad that her career fell off like that after (IIRC) passing up a song that turned into a huge hit for Rihanna

"Hot" doesn't do anything for me, sorry. =p Maybe she's not that annoying herself, but her role is extraordinarily annoying. And when she adds that high-pitched voice and all-over-the-place talking to it, it's an immediate "WHERE'S THE REMOTE, WHERE IS IT" whenever she and her exponentially-tanning face show up.

It's hilarious listening to Shakira trying to defend her own artists after giving them terrible song choices. "Yeah he was nervous, but...give him a break!" Uh...no? It's top ten, and a coach should understand their finalists' strengths and weaknesses by now. She seems to be coming off as more of a fan than a coach.

Hmmm....what is the worst possible song to saddle this artist with? Its a toughie choice....

Still love Shakira.

Michelle has been my favorite although not the top singer any given night, but I think she had her biggest night last night. For the first time I thought she might be able to win it.

From the rehearsal I thought she was going to be awkward and weird... so I turned it off and did something else.

She was good? Hmm... now I will have to watch it, I guess.

I actually thought her rehearsal sounded great (as opposed to most reheasal footage).

I don't really rate anybody on anything but the singing, so I don't know if you'd call her awkward or not.

Josiah finally done, along with Kris Thomas

I do kinda wish the Voice wouldn't stretch out the eliminations so long to allow the eliminated at least a quick word.

KRIS :( Josiah has been really good too for the most part -- he shocked me. His songs have been very difficult while most of the artists have been safe and boring. A bunch of shit artists have gone through and 80% of the songs are completely foreign to me. I love Usher and Shakira but this season has sucked since it got to the live episodes. I guess they don't know how to play the game essentially and it's showing.

I think in both Josiah and Kris's cases, they got killed by the combination of weak song choices and the comments from the competing judges themselves. Adam and Blake seem to be more calculated in making sure that their singers do strong stuff that assures votes. It seemed like the audition clips that we saw sort of accentuated the weaknesses in Jo and Kris's performances too, telling people what to be critical of before they even saw the song.

It's kind of sad and it shouldn't be this way, but I could see it by next week's elims that only Adam and Blake's people are left.

Josiah got killed for singing badly. He was terrible last night.

Yeah... he was way off on that one. I actually had to FF through it because it was unpleasant to listen to. He was trying to croon it or something, and it was... just weird and not good.

And I've liked a couple of his performances... I mean I thought he did great on the Starlight chorus/bridge (but not so much the verses).

I really don't have a taste for Country so it's a bit enduring to have to listen to 3 country artists perform country every week. I was hoping one of them would get eliminated tonight just for that reason. I'm glad Kris is gone because while he has a good voice, his performances are so stiff and awkward due to his nerves. Josiah was sort of growing on me until last night's performance. He did really well in the group number tonight though.

Just got home from a day at the water park. Skyfall is a tough one, let's see how she does.

Huh, it's actually alright, no Adele, but decent rendition.
