Adam could be the best "Head Swap" character ever; Just make the 2 subordinates into different head guys with mostly the same moves, save for 1 or 2 specials / reactions, which could be different only by special effect, even.

Would be a nice way to squeeze some guest appearances of plainly-clothed characters in there.

Combined with palette trickery, could probably come up with a lot of unique options (Such as a team that has all 3 colors of a KoF team, one on each character), get one to look like they're wearing a solid shirt, one to look as if his has a pattern, etc.

Eyepatch'd Adam with "Ralf" and "Clark" subordinates would single character slot of the forever, ha.

You know, that's actually a great idea... The Ryu/Ken Shoto-sharer characters of the series with their own unique traits. That'd be rad. I'd vote for that.

We gave them all the data they need and we shouldn't be highjacking the game's development when they've got their own story considerations to follow. They've given up a lot for the fans as is. They can set aside a slot or two for some favorites who don't have strong story relevance if possible.

Cool. I love the vote, but I think 2 or 3 fan choice characters is more than generous.

Giving you guys the chance to put out the game(s) that are true to the team's vision is the most important IMO.

I think it'd be really cool as characters are revealed through videos and whatnot having a poll that culminates in the final character. Seeing them revealed via a video would be hype (for those who voted for them at least).

Yeah, I feel that if we just had voted rosters, we'd never get certain pivotal characters in the game simply because they are less-desired than others.

That and we'd have openings for more characters in other games and whatnot, too.

I say keep voted characters at no more than 2 while the rest are prepped by the team outside of other influences.

How many games have had fans vote in characters?

The only other example I can think of is KOF97, where Gamest and SNK let the fans pick a team, and they picked Billy/Mary/Yamazaki. Lots of salty Duck King fans (he was 4th).

You gotta do the characters that fit a game the best- fans don't always vote in good characters.

There is some eerily strong coincidence going on here, no lies. I was almost about to find someone to swap for Scythana but I like Molly a lot.

Talesin is slowly becoming the Eliza of the guys for me (cool design, cool place in the story [a guy who literally objectifies women in a game about action badass women? That's inspired.], and cool mechanics) but even with that, I'm still gung-ho on the Annie/Feng/Black Dahlia trains.

May want to hit up the Skullgirls IRC if you cant find any people to play with in game. Ranked, from what I've seen, is pretty active from Tiers 1-3 but is dead once you get to Tier 4 (highest level). There's always player match in any other case.

I fully agree with this. Maybe a vote on a post-release DLC character would be nice, but I'd really like the main game to be as close to Alex's initial vision as possible. I kind of bought the first game primarily for the story (though I also enjoy the gameplay very much).

Check the second update. The OP will be useful for these sorts of things. It's a gigantic amount of stuff that adds features and changes the game in significantly (think Vampire Hunter to Vampire Savior).
