Cheap Arse Gaffer |Europe| We Need To Go Cheaper

By got do you mean purchased or received the items? The gears 3 limited edition should be interesting to see if you get limited or standard.

Now I'm tempted to try some OOS items...and probably get rejected for being OOS...

Sorry, should of been more clear on that. I've only purchased them. There is still a fair amount of those limited editions floating around, but I think it would be a good deal for either at that price. I've been realistic and only put in items that are fairly recent or still in print.

First bad Flubit encounter I've heard of. As Flubit are just a middle man, I could see that happening eventually. I hope you're able to get some real customer service and resolve your issue, Sondar. Probably bad timing, but after getting an offer for the oos Marvel vs Capcom for the Vita on Game (thanks to a tip on here), I tried some other oos items and have got the following so far:

Trying Gears 3, thanks for the tip!

Someone should start a website with stupid-cheap game prices on which you can't actually buy from, but it looks legit. Then put all the links into Flubit and see if they can go cheaper.

You could try phoning them - 020 3137 7341

Often helps to talk to a real person rather than someone trying to answer support emails as fast as possible.

You should just be able to post it back to the company that shipped it to you for a refund.

Failing that contact paypal and raise a dispute with them to get a refund (is there a a way to pay on Flubit without paypal?)
Flubit. Won't be using them again. :(

I send them a link for a Mahjong game on 3DS. They create the offer & game sent.

Wrong game arrives, I contact them advising them of the error & what should I do now.

Return email says they sent me the game I asked for quoting the links they used.

I email them again saying yes, those are the correct links, but the wrong game was sent to me. It's not my error!

Return email says they used the right links, so sorry. They completely ignore the fact that the wrong game was sent.

They close my request. End of .

:/

If they send the wrong product you are supposed to talk to the retailer flubit lists directly.

Most of them go through their ordering side fireworks using their CEOs name, in which case you should ring 0207 183 8971 rather than their general questions line. If it doesn't go through fireworks and goes directly through a retailer the companies contact details should be listed.

Whichever way it is, if you send it back without flubit or fireworks agreeing there is no guarantee the money will be returned. The retailer they bought it from will refund it to them in their CEOs name, and then you are waiting for someone to process a separate refund via paypal which they are unaware of.

I wouldn't be surprised if that's what my link above is. It doesn't actually seem possible to register with that shop. There's a form, but you can't type anything in.

Has anyone tried putting Tearaway from ShopTo into Flubit?

They rejected my demand as "from the URL it wasn't clear which product you want" - yet when I click on the URL I provided it links straight to Tearaway, for which there's obviously only one edition.

I don't see what the problem is (unless they just can't beat the price and don't want to say so). Their support hasn't replied to me so far.

Just trying some OoS items from Game.co.uk in Flubit now, Rune Factory Oceans, Gears 3 Limited Edition and Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 Vita.
Will report back on my rejections/offers

Zavvi are offering Bioshock Infinite (PS3/360) & Injustice (360/WiiU/PS3) as free gifts now...

...if you buy a shit jacket at a extortionate price!

This has been on its way down since March - but HUKD have noticed, so it might shoot up again soon

There we go. Flubit not even dispatched (or if they have their tracker is useless) and their offer (which I bought) beaten...(my offer was £18.84, btw the amazon price is £18.30 now...price seems to be dropping [to 97.5% of previous] more frequently, this generally means enough stock will soon be sold for the price to go back up to £40)

I'm not sure if I want the price to bounce back up just so I don't feel ripped off (but that is spiteful at best) or just to live with my mistake. I wanted the thing for sub £20 so used flubit to do that a bit quicker than Amazon (I put my offer in at the £21 point) so I got exactly what I wanted. Of course flubit took nearly 40 hours to make the offer and the bank holiday weekend kind of killed those plans...

Also I read the flubit terms and flubit state you won't be refunded for delivery costs (be weary of items with separate delivery costs then) and "will be responsible for the cost of returning the items" yourself. Sounds like another reason to add the why to be weary of flubit.

I told people about my bad experience with Flubit a few pages ago but got ignored... use at your own peril.

The hassle you get if they get your order wrong (and it seems they are doing that fairly often) is not worth the 2.50 pounds you save with them, really.

Anybody having issue with Flubit would do well to try to contact them on twitter - @flubitweet

I've had two requests there and both times they literally replied within a minute. It seems the most efficient way of getting stuff done with them (I'd probably file a support request first, and then tweet them the order / demand # code and ask them to look at it)

Hmm, I tried that when they rejected my Tearaway demand because it "wasn't clear what product you wanted" (not sure how?) - but they never replied to me.

I've reopened the demand so I'll see if they check the link properly this time or just reject it again.

Flubit got Fire emblem A down to nearly £28 from £32.99 at Amazon so was about to get it but then found sainsburys selling it online for £30 so I made a new demand to see what that get me. Every coin counts for me & after that preorder of DCR3D for £22 I felt spoiled.

Fire emblem oddly has little apeal to me as I always hate turn based games (even advanced wars couldn't grasp my attention) but I really want to like them and the demo + Gaf hype plus perhaps a story? &of course free Animal crossing has me sold

The story and animation in Fire Emblem is awesome, I highly recommend it.

thanks to all involved, i managed to get a £15 copy of metal gear rising revengeance through flubit!

i realise that reads like a paid for testimonial or something. if only i were that lucky!

QFTT =D, Fire Emblem is awesome really recommend anyone with 3DS to get the game.
Can anyone who has the Pokemon typing game post opinions on the keyboard?

I don't really know what I can say about it, rarely buy many keyboards. I will say it's awfully convenient having it as a bluetooth keyboard for the the PS3 and such.
The keys are solid and comfortable, the keys that you expect are there expect the function keys, I find it slightly cramped though but expected at the size it is; it's not too heavy, and is solidly built.

I got Zelda OoT 3D for £21.80 using blockbusters £25 price. I've put 5 orders in now. I think I should have waited to see if my first order come correctly before diving straight in.

Official Sony PlayStation Move charging dock £4.80 fulfilled by Amazon (games-wizard seller)

Well worth it considering that the Move will have some more life in it with the PS4. Also the thing that this has on some 3rd party versions is that it doesn't care what you put in either port it can be the wand or the navigation controller. Also powered via mains so you don't need your PlayStation on all the time

Story is very typical mid tier anime fantasy fair, don't go in with particularly high expectations for it.

I feel like it's worth pointing out your feeling ripped off about 54p right now - if amazon was selling it for like £10 I could understand you feeling a bit miffed about flubit's offer price. But your getting a pretty niceish keyboard and an okay game for the price you wanted. If it makes you feel any better, I brought typing day one at £35 (my bad!)

I was hit by using Flubit too for Atelier Meruru where I paid £15, thanks to Flubit taking the higher price rather than the £13 it was at when submitted. So I actually lost out a little more, but I figure considering how much the game was beforehand, I still got a good deal, maybe not the best - but I'll take £15 over £36

But yes, using flubit is a bit of a learning experience and certainly a bit of a gamble in some cases if your hoping to cut prices a little bit lower (at least it seems like you can speed the process if you use it a lot with the points thing...). I think it's just a case of making a call if you feel that price will stick long enough to track it or not (or if the title might in fact drop lower).

Thats true. I just hope it isn't going to be like when I imported Pokemon Silver (from FedEx...yes, they used to sell videogames and ship them internationally). I thought I did fine with £25+customs then a friend says he has had it for a week longer and only paid £20 total. To be honest its the whole not even in my hands yet (and possibly not even dispatched) side I'm more miffed about (funny that once again its Pokemon).

Edit: Flubit just sent dispatched message :P Estimate still the same.

Argos have matched this. Though apparently the £10 voucher they were giving when it was £140 is no more so it works out the same (assuming you used the £10 voucher) but possible local pick up makes is a more convenient option.

That's been sub-£15, sometimes sub-£10, quite a few times. I would have waited and hunted around a bit more.

I had a demand declined by flubit yesterday supposedly for stock reasons. I just checked my email and they have reopened it and sent me an offer.

The offer isn't great though, it worked out more expensive as they included postage costs in the demand when postage is free for the order.

Wouldn't recommend ordering a console from GAME online, ordered the 3DS XL White with Mario Kart 7 when they were selling it for £159, got here today and they sent me a used one but resealed it to try and make it look new, didn't realise it was used until I went to link my Club Nintendo account to it and it showed up the previous owners email and asked me to unlink it. Credit to the previous owner though, the 3DS itself is pretty much immaculate.
