Holy shit, they were walking them outside literally like dogs in the backyard, in broad daylight, and the police show up and do... what exactly? Checking to make sure they have the appropriate permits? what the fuck.

I'd bet these people didn't even have actual dogs there. Why did they have the leashes, Bart? Why did they have the leashes?


Fucking police. I know we're probably only seeing paid suspensions in their future, but some heads really need to roll.

Oh, you mean the call Charles made? I hadn't listened to that one. But yeah, I'd guess it's standard procedure.
 
And they're reviewing the 911 call.
Flask wrote that while the dispatcher followed department policies and procedures, “We have noted some concerns, which will be the focus of our review, including the call-taker’s failure to remain on the line with Ms. Berry until police arrived on scene.”
The dispatcher was not identified in the statement.
During a press conference on Tuesday, police officials said officers arrived at the home where the women were held captive within minutes of Berry’s call. When police arrived, they found Berry with her 6-year-old daughter, as well as Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight

I'm not sure if this has been talked about here but think about this. Between the three of these fat slobs over 10 years, I'm assuming not a day went by that at least one of those girls wasn't raped. Not to mention repeatedly each day. That's at least 3650 rapes between the three women. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if that baby was sexually assaulted. These women and their lives are totally, completely ruined, possibly beyond repair. It's hard enough for a rape victim to cope after having been raped once. Imagine what these girls are going through after being raped and who the hell knows what else over the last ten years.

Those three fat, greasy, disgusting losers deserve to be lynched by the townspeople.

The interview I watched awhile ago on CNN had a family there, a mother and two daughters who are the ones who saw the naked on knees stuff in the backyard and the mother claims she didnt call because her daughters had told her hours later (as if that should matter) but just saying according to this interview they were never even called.
 
Ugh this story is just disgusting, I don't know these women or the creeps personally but I could honestly pull the trigger myself.

Michelle's mother who was in Florida just today said in an interview how upset she was the police nor the media was using any of the pictures she initially gave the police in 2002. She would still come back to Cleveland and post flyers herself.

Her family wanted her story out there just as much as the other girls families but it never got the media attention the other girls stories did.

This is beyond horrible and then to find out that they were beaten so they'd have miscarriages, wtf fuck is wrong with some people smh.
Like the people above, when I heard three brothers where arrested I too thought that they kidnapped three girls to "have" one for each of them.

I hate how after stuff like this happens everyone always start with the "I knew something was wrong with them" line.
 
This is simply the worst thing I've ever read. Those poor poor girls. I can't even fathom this. Thank God Charles was there to help, when the police had chance after chance to help and failed. I'm incredibly disturbed by this-there is no punishment severe enough to dish out to these animals. Actually that's a disservice to animals-these are monsters. Pure evil.
 
Reading some of the posts and things the news says makes me think about criminal minds. Some of the profiles say the criminal sometimes injects himnself in the investigation or keeps close to the family of the crime, gives him/her sense of power.
 
If I didn't know better, it seems like a McDonalds Marketing campaign. I am amazed at how much McDonalds is mentioned.

Thank god the girls are safe, amazing story. This is gross though. The police's handling of the situation and missed previous rescues are gross. Charles Ramsey is totally engaging in that he's the only real thing in this entire story. If he doesn't break into that door, the police weren't going to as previously stated. He knew he was stepping over property boundaries, but he and his community looking took it upon themselves to do it. Cut protocol out of it, and got something done and did the right thing.

Its weird seeing the media uncomfortable in interviews with him, as he crosses pc boundaries "white girl running into a black man's arms", yet they want to spin their "checking in with this woman in this timezone" shit. Just put the camera on him, let him speak. There's nothing else they're adding, until press conferences and possibly speaking to the girls.
 
So, next time you see women being tied up naked and abused, don't tell the dispatcher because apparently it isn't believable, instead report someone selling weed.

CLEVELAND - Now-Internet sensation Charles Ramsey was not the only person to help break down the door of a Seymour Avenue house, freeing three missing women.

“I helped her and I was first,” Angel Cordero told NewsChannel5’s Stephanie Ramirez in Spanish.

On Monday, Ramsey, Cordero and other neighbors in a west side neighborhood of Cleveland helped Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight escape. The women had disappeared in separate cases about a decade ago.

“Ramsey arrived after she was outside with the girl,” Cordero said. “But the truth who arrived there, who crossed the street, who came and broke the door, it was me.”

Wintel Tejeda, who lives across the street from the suspect’s house, said others helped and when Berry came out, they gave her a phone.

“She was able to call police from my house,” Tejeda said in Spanish.

Now with Ramsey’s interview making headlines, both men said they’re not jealous.

“I did what had to be done. I helped her,” Cordero said. “They have their daughter, daughters are safe over there.”​
 
CNN is a fucking joke now. From their 1,001 pundit panel for every major political event and holograms, to sourcing Reddit/Twitter for breaking news (Boston bombing).
 
It's really sad how that auto tune song of Charles Ramsey's interview is more catchy than a lot of the songs on the radio nowadays. I can't stop listening to it!


On a serious note though, really glad that all the girls are alive.
 
Makes you think how many other missing people are in similar situations right now. These stories seem to pop up every few years now and really makes you think who else could be out there being held hostage living through a similar kind of hell. Really sad world.

These kinds of stories are really the worst. I remember reading about a Japanese girl held hostage by some highschool teenagers and the things they did to her were sickening. Reality is way worse than movies.

The case i had mentioned earlier, the victim who had escaped almost went back to her perp because the cop had just assumed she was a "crazy naked lady" who ran away from home. Had the agency i work with not stress to the cop that she is a victim trying to escape, that fucker would have let her go back to her captivity.

Seriously. There are some cops that really, really fail at that serve and protect. It's fucking disgusting.
