If its kid games, I don't see it being made without Kinect. Kids love it. As for what I want personally, Alan Wake, something new from Twisted Pixel, Fallout 4, something that's not Halo from 343, Project Gotham, a new take on Geometry Wars. I have a feeling the game I'll be most interested in at launch is Watch Dogs and GTA5 if it has a next gen version. Sonys first party titles did nothing for me, and unless they shock me, I bet third party titles are what's going to excite me most about MS's launch lineup. I hope I'm wrong.

Alas, that will never be. 343I exists because of Halo. I would instead offer a requesting for something thats Halo but not from 343i. An RPG perhaps?

I fairly certain we will see the box and controller at the event. If I'm remembering correctly, Major Nelson was tweeting how disappointing it was that Sony didn't show their console at the PS4 event.

Arron also commented on it.

So is LocoCycle still coming out for the 360? I wonder if Twisted Pixel is done with that and has moved on to the Nextbox or what?

I have been following it and it is coming out this year on the Xbox 360. The game looks fun but the graphics are a little rough on the eyes sometimes.

Alan Wake 2 would be great. Crack down 3 would be great also for some reason I'm only person that liked crackdown 2. I guess I just enjoy 4 player coop alot. Nothing like screwing your friends over with rockets. Shadow Complex 2 would be great also. I want a new racing game but I don't know if Project Gotham is what I'm looking for. It would be great for Cliff to come out and show what he is working on. I have a feeling it will be exclusive to Xbox or PS4.

Crackdown 2 is awesome.

both inferior and superior to the original in many ways.

Wingsuit motherfuckers.

You're not wrong. A new Call of Duty with radically different movement stuff (the rumors hint at this) and a new engine (no idea about this) would be a very interesting thing to see.

I really, really, really hope Ghosts uses a new engine. Graphics aren't everything, but that Quake engine ain't doin' it no mo'.

They're not even trying anymore. As the articles become more offensive, more ignorant and borderline retarded, they hope to get more clicks and it seems to be working. Nevermind journalistic integrity or thoughtful commentaries, let's go cheap to get the quick rewards! Pathetic.

It's just a few specific writers (Jason and Patricia) under Totilo's leadership as far as I can tell. Kotaku's manufactured controversy and non-even-kinda news since Totilo took over is really getting old.

AS much as I loved the wingsuit, it didn't make up for the removal of transforming vehicles. I appreciate they didn't have time to work on new transformations, etc, but I'd have preferred they kept the old ones than completely remove them.

Cue the Kotaku defense force (aka Kotaku employees) touting how they got the Durango and Orbis names right. For every 1 thing they seem to get right, they seemingly do another 20 idiotic stories. Click-magnets. God bless Pachter.

Then the devkit with AMD was our imagination.

To be fair, the Xbox 360 dev-kits right up until just a few months from launch weren't much more than bog-standard Mac Pros with a decent graphics card in. Dev-kits obviously therefore don't tell us everything about final hardware, although we do know it absolutely must have a x86 CPU.

That aside, he would say the same even if it is an AMD chip in the final hardware, which almost all rumours have pointed too. They haven't announced anything.

The irony is, we all clicked on it just to see how bad it was.

can i ask a technical question?...after the diagram leak of the volcano island i was thinkin about cu arrays..and..watching durango vgleak diagram again (this damn internet putting every 2 hours crazy things in my mind)

"Each shader core has a local 64-way L1 cache of 16 KB, composed of 256 64-byte cache lines."

why 64 way just for a computer unit?!?!?!? is this ok?!?!

coz if we divide 64/4 it become 16 way ....as if is pointin at cu arrays (cu array have should have 4*16way L1)

someone can explain this to me?

lol at all of you.
he told me stuffs and I promised not to tell about the system.
What i can tell is about the controller

controller hasnt changed much. It has a black and white pattern. the microphone plug has now been changed

What a bunch of BS - thats from kotaku month's ago.

This is bannable without meaningful proof, right?

I have to see what they do with halo 5 first before having faith in all that 343i talent again.
They have a lot of talented names but talented individuals doesn't make a talented team which is needed to have that special sauce for games.

was this posted already?
From newest video thing on GT they said that the event/stream is only for 1 hour

that is not long :(

It's been known for a while.

Also in the video Geoff says he'll be having a sit down after the event with Mattrick and the people behind the new xbox, I'm excited about that.

I believe they previously said they'll also have a pre-conference show for an hour or perhaps even two. I don't want an event that drags on for too long, I thought Sony's was really stretched out more than it was necessary.

An hour is perfect. Short, sharp and sweet.

The Sony conference was full of a LOT of filler. Dragged on.

What do you classify as filler?
The game announcements were a little drawn out with a lot of cryptic and dramatic introductions and some of the demo's were a little long, but I can't remember any filler.

Filler to me is endless sales data or a musical intermission or something.

There were parts during the second half of the PS4 conference in which things felt like a drag and were just prolonged to fill in the amount of time of the conference.

IIRC the conference ran over the original projected time, so I don't think it was them padding. They just had a lot to say, hopefully allowing them to focus on the good stuff at E3.

I think they should of cut out SE showing a tech demo from last year.

it COULD be enough. But it's probably going to be

40 minutes of x360 sales data, kinect 2.0, social stuff and entertainment apps
20 minutes of games, of which
__15 is new COD playthrough
___5 is devs talking about their games without showing them

YEAH !

Yeah a bit disappointing since the Sony conference was almost 3 hrs if I recall. Probably because its on TV they don't want to make it to long.

I am sure the real meat will be at E3, so I expect they won't show or talk about many games at the event. I personaly felt Sony's event ran out of steam towards the end and their was too much filler, some if it could have been cut without affecting the overall presentation.

Yeah, that tech demo wasn't really necessary though. But hey, SE had to show something I guess. Cool for the people that hadn't seen it.

I don't remember much else that i'd call filler though.

I can't see them talking about statistics when they only have an hour. I'm thinking they hit the ground running, nothing but games and features.
