Tried a couple of out of stock GAME items on Flubit but got no offers from them (FF13-2 limited edition and BioShock 1+2 Ultimate Rapture Edition).

Managed to get a reduced offer using Blockbuster's Max Payne 3, which was £7.98 at the time, so getting it for £6.83, and Yakuza 3, which is still on the site for £1.99. Already own the game but figure that it's a decent cheap gift for £1.70 now. Took a while for them to give me an offer on Yakuza 3, though. Went past the 48 hours time the gave me, but it's offered now.

I haven't checked MP3, but it's saying Yakuza 3 is click and collect only - does Flubit somehow circumvent this?

MP3 has jumped back up to £13 on Blockbuster, unfortunately.

But yeah, I'm pretty sure it bypassed the click and collect thing with Yakuza 3. It's worth trying, at the very least. Seemed to work for me.

There's quite a few cheap games on the Blockbuster site. Use one of the tabs on the side to search for under £20 games on your console of choice.

Edit: Hmmm... Although, I have put in Street Fighter X Tekken PS3 from the Blockbuster site, in stock, click and collect, and just now received an email from Flubit saying they cannot offer me anything, with the usual: "We are really sorry, but we cannot create offers for items that aren’t in stock on the link that you sent us, don’t have a home delivery option or cannot buy them directly from the link you provided (such as comparison websites)."

So I wonder if I got lucky with Yakuza 3. I have no idea. Guess you don't know till you try, though.

Bioshock Rapture was actually the only Game oos link I didn't get an offer for. But it has worked for multiple items, I even got an oos blu ray offer too. So it may be worth looking at other oos items for some of you.

I'm still waiting on an offer for Yakuza 3 myself, and it is now WAY past the 48 hour mark. So it's good to know I still have a chance! I also have Lumines Vita from BB at £6.49 I'm waiting on a offer for. Also bummed about missing out on Mario Tennis as it seemed like a decent price point, as without any story mode, I couldn't justify £20+. I've put it into Flubit anyway, worth a go. I remember Mario Tennis on the GBA had an rpg story for it that seemed pretty decent.

Got offered Spec Ops for £8.66 with Flubit, using Zavvi's £9.98 price.

Is this game worth it? I know it hit US PS+ for free a few months ago, so dunno whether it'll come to EU's PS+ too.

Depends. It's less than 5 hours long and the story is the most resonant aspect of it. The gameplay is familiar and really only differs in its difficulty, which is a notch above most other shooters. If you're interested in playing a game that has something to say about narrative dissonance, but not much else stand-out about it, give it a go.

Hmm, still thinking. Just seen that ShopTo have the game up for £9.85, so I whacked that into Flubit to see if I can get a cheaper deal before the other one expires.

My £25.42 copy of Monster Hunter 3 3DS from Flubit arrived today. They ordered it from Game for £32.99, that's £7.57 they are getting it discounted somehow.

incoming headline from 2014: Promising start-up flubit.com, which launched in 2012, collapsed this week because of huge debt. It seems they ordered games for regular price from internet websites such as game.co.uk and amazon.co.uk and sold them for much less to customers.

In The Sun that would probably be: "Flubit a flub"

Flubit just offered me Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate Wii U for £26.77, didn't especially like the demo but i assume for this price it's worth a punt?

I'm going to try the demo again a few more times, as I'm half tempted, but still not quite sold on the game. Good price though.

There's no reason to believe it'll ever be rare. None of Zen's previous releases have been hard to get ahold of even years after release, and have dropped in price significantly. You can still buy the Arcana Heart 3 and BlazBlue: Continuum Shift "limited" editions on their store, despite them being released almost two and two and a half years ago respectively.

Getting a laptop made up, what's the cheapest way to get a copy of windows? Preferably 7 I guess although I don't have much against 8.

Sadly getting a deal on windows outside of being a student (academic alliance ftw) is rather rare. Microsoft did a deal when 8 launched late last year where you could get a digitial download of the new OS for £24 but thats long since been over.

Digging about it seems getting a copy of 7 will set you back about as much as 8 will. Best I could find was a Windows 8 Pro upgrade for £27 but the site with that deal doesn't seem to be working (and seems a bit dodgy according to reviews)

But pretty much the only cheap route right now is to already have a copy of XP/Vista/7 you can load on the laptop and then buy the Windows 8 Pro upgrade - CCL Computers have it for £44.99 (and seems to get good reviews via google so should be okay) - the only other potentally cheap option is Tesco if you happen to have some clubcard cash vouchers floating about at all (though Clubcard double up exchange starts from monday)

On that note, apparently Clubcard Exchange will have Toys included as an option for voucher redemption, this tends to include skylanders figures - though the list of items on the list and exemptions likely won't be released till tomorrow morning so just putting that out there.

Asking for a friend. Where's the best place to get Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen (PS3) currently?

EDIT: We found it for 14.99 on GreenManGaming. Doubt it'll get much better than that and it's a site he trusts. Going for that one.

Slightly off-topic but I was looking at the US PlayStation Store earlier and it's asking $40 for Dark Arisen, compared to £20 on the UK shop. Surprising how lots of games are cheaper here in the UK. Super SF4 I think is something like £10 UK/$40 US.

Does anyone know if the FIFA 13 offer code on the Amazon.co.uk promotion works with European PSN Stores?

I would imagine so, as the EU PSN + codes work in any European country, same with retail dlc codes and such. You can even get the code early by asking them through live chat with your order details. Then cancel, if you're feeling sneaky!

When there are different PAL versions, the codes don't work on other stores. For example, the NHL 13 online pass code of the UK version don't work in the Portuguese PSN Store, only on the UK PSN Store.

With PS3 games is not a problem because you can redeem in one account and use the content redeeemed with every account in the same console. With the Vita you can only play with the same account you use to buy content from the store. (Dumbest Vita decision imho).

Now I'm afraid that I will be unable to redeem FIFA 13 code with my portuguese account but maybe someone from a non-UK country bought the game and can tell me if it works.

Well, even though I accepted that £1.70 offer from Flubit for Yakuza 3, it's just now been refunded and cancelled, citing the retailer cancelled it as they ran out of stock.

I imagine the same might happen with others that have ordered it, too.

My blockbuster offer from Flubit fell through. Here were the reasons:
We?re really sorry but the offer on the link you provided us with is from,
what we believe to be, an unreliable supplier, either selling counterfeit
products or failing to deliver on sales.

Unfortunately, we won?t be able to create you a better price than the link you
provided us with because we create our offers to be lower than the link you
give us. If the link is too low due to the reasons stated above, our
suppliers are unwilling to create better offers.
The underlining is them, btw.

Oh well looks like I'll have to try and order it from blockbuster myself (I hear a lot of things about it not liking any sort of payment) and btw I think the real reason was hardly any other retailer has it in stock.

True that. They are pretty crappy as far as online retailers go. I got some blu rays recently that were supposed to be new, but 2 out of the 4 were used. With how bad their customer service is, I'll probably just keep them providing they work. Also, in previous orders of games from their "marketplace" looked like they had been through some tough times. Never again.

I've been saying this for months. They should be on the ban list with shopto.

There hasn't been much DLC, has there?

There is already the smaller DLC bundled together as Deluxe bundle containing:
- Six single player missions
- Four new animals to hunt: the Mountain Lion, Thylacine, White Tiger and Red Vulture
- Two new single player weapons: Tribal Knife and Hunter’s M700 Predator Rifle
- Two multiplayer weapon unlocks: Type-10 Flare, Shotgun and Predator Bow
- One new character: Hurk and his monkeys
- Two new end of match movies for multiplayer starring Hurk and his monkeys

and then there is the large Blood Dragon DLC of course.

At least on PS3 Blood Dragon DLC has its own trophy list. So that's something. I would like to play that as well, but I don't want to buy DLC at all costs. I always prefer physical releases.

Blood Dragon isn't DLC. It's its own game.
