W101 gets mentioned - 1 shot
W101 gets a release month - 2 shots
W101 gets an actual release date - 3 shots

W101 is ignored - Whole bottle

W101 is ignored by NoA but given release dates in Japan and Europe - Whole liquor cabinet

If and only if they were smart. I don't think they would give them their own month, but who knows with Nintendo these days. I don't even think Game and Wario should get it's own month.

Unfortunately at least one of them will probably be getting its own month. Unless they announce TW101 as a July game. Seemed possible until they went ahead and announced Pikmin for August. TW101 might slip back to late August or September at this point (still qualifies as "summer". Hope that's not the case.

Oh crap. I completely forgot about Rayman in September.

It sucks how we go from next to no games coming out to way too many games coming out. This Fall/Winter is going to be nuts with releases on the Wii U and 3DS.

so tomorrow will be wario, pikmin and luigi u. maybe also fit, w101 and party? those were stated as spring-summer titles in the january direct.

then mario, kart, smash and hopefully other stuffs around e3...

W101 in July is the only logical move, I think. But the game would have to go gold in the next 4-6 weeks, so it damn well better be done.
I'm not up to date on this game's status and was pinning it as a September or later title. What's your rationale for a possible July release? I'd certainly like that to be the case -- it's my most-wanted WiiU game.

If they were smart, they wouldn't give either Wii Fit or Wii Party its own month. They'd be ancillary titles to other games.

If they were smart.

Yeah, that's true. Revising earlier, I'd go for something like this:

June - Game & Wario
July - Wonderful 101
August - Pikmin 3 / Wii Party U
September - Wind Waker HD / Wii Fit U
October - 3D Mario
November - Mario Kart U

Add in the big third-party titles they do have coming and you have something that looks more like this (note: I've made at least one assumption here :-) ):

June - Game & Wario
July - Wonderful 101
August - Pikmin 3 / Wii Party U / Rayman Legends / Disney Infinity
September - Wind Waker HD / Wii Fit U
October - 3D Mario / Arkham Origins
November - Mario Kart U / Assassin's Creed IV / CoD: Ghosts / Watch_Dogs

...plus Scribblenauts Unmasked, Deus Ex and a few other undated ones.

I'll be happy if the only thing new is a Wonderful 101 release date.

I can't say I expect anything new to be announced (that'll be for E3)....although if they chuck in a bit of Wind Waker Wii U footage it would be a nice surprise.

There's a big open hole in July, the game was listed as "Coming Soon" on the eshop a few months ago alongside Wario, and the investor meeting's release schedule has it pinned as Summer 2013. If they're sticking to a Nintendo published game a month for the rest of the year, that leaves it for either July or September on the far end.

The game is done and has been going through internal testing according to a member on gaf. It's highly possible it's coming out in the summer.

Remember that July is Pikmin month in Japan. If they are looking at a worldwide simultaneous release, it would probably be August or September.

Isn't july kinda risky to release a game?

Hmm, that's how I used to view the situation, but I guess I grew discouraged by the way they've already given a release date for Pikmin 3 and that title comes later in August. :-\

I'll be super-pleased if they announce a July release date for TW101 tomorrow. I've previously said that, assuming the title is ready, it'd seem smart to build hype anew for this original IP at E3 in June -- and then coast off that hype with a release in July.

Thinking back, Inaba did seem to suggest we'd be hearing some TW101 news soon, back when he was doing damage control after Kamiya's game length comments, lol.

So I'm guessing no bombs will dropped tomorrow...only release dates?
I haven't watched all the Nintendo Directs, but when I do there's always a new announcement. e.g Bayonetta 2, LTTP2, SMT X Fire Emblem etc

Edit: Oh I didn't read the OP properly, Summer release focus, doesn't look hopeful then, but you never know.

It has begun. W101 release date, maybe a suprise or tease for the next Direct. Get us ready for the bombs to drop Iwata.

Love how nintendo is all straight up "we will be announcing games at this date and time"

I full expect tomorrow to show: Pikmin 3, Game and Wario, Wii Fit U, New Super Luigi and The Wonderful 101.

Expect Mario Kart, Retro's new project, Smash Bros, 3D Mario, X, Yarn Yoshi, Zelda WWHD and some other surprises at the NEXT show.

The next show should be the big one but I think tomorrow will have at least 1 nice surprise... Maybe a teaser for what's to come?

No. That's the problem. :/

I hope the next SSF4 game is U bound at least. I don't wanna be stuck with Tekken forever.

I am a daily player of Tekken, but i'd love to get a Street Fighter or DOA on the system. My hopes though is that Capcom keeps with the unique fighting games on Nintendo systems, like tatsunoko vs capcom.
