Was free in the EU and perfectly priced, was fun but I didn't bother purchasing the DLC though.

However I'm guessing it's more story driven (RPG elements maybe?)
You're dead right, but you've got to admit, that trailer could have easily stood in for a God Eater trailer, as other's have said. What I should have written was that if it is a MonHun clone, I'd rather it was on PS3.We don't know if Panopticon is a MH clone yet.
Then again, it could be some turn based RPG where you battle giant monsters or something different entirely. Like I said, still looking forward to the reveal trailer!
Definitely in the EU, not sure about elsewhere.

The trailer to me was more reminiscent of a JRPG to me. It had what looked like a 3-4 character party, all were unique and looked story important characters, one of them had a monster/summon fighting alongside her, and it just had the look of a stylized jrpg battle even down to boss on one side and party on the other.

What's strange is that, it does not even appear on the Map and it always appear on the map where is next one but not this time. So strange!

You're in for a huge treat. Not to mention I really think touch controls are going to be great for the game.
I got a lot of mileage out of Earth Defense Force despite already owning the 360 version.

I finally broke down and downloaded Legend of Heroes Zero No Kiseki.
That's the impression I got as well (It kind of reminded me of the Behemoth fight in FFVII Advent Children moreso actually) but then that advert that lists the MonHun-style games came out with the listing for an unannounced title and it made me doubtful. I did like the Death Note vibe I got from the countdowns above peoples heads. I'm guessing the story is going to be that people who are already close do their 'expiry date' are chosen to battle monsters or something? What about the binding of the monster in those red chains?
Hehe, all this speculation about Vita games sucks sometimes but I must admit it is fun and I do enjoy the hype. I guess the problem lies in when our fantasy doesn't line up with the reality, hence people tempering their expectations about Panopticon.

I was going to grab it a couple of months back but then it was announced for Vita so i decided to wait. Seem to enjoy things more on Vita anyway, haha.
It's SCEJ's summer marketing campaign for Vita.
I think that the premise of valhalla knights 3 is interesting, characters are prisoners, the game is set in a prison castle and ema, the girl that got arrested with the protagonist, at a certain point became a totally different person.

This game has a hard time of eschewing the look of mediocrity. Will try a demo if there is one.

Since each characters seems to have a countdown to death I don't think it's a game mechanic well suited for Hunting games.

I would say it said JRPG to me as well, as quite frankly I wouldn't have been surprised if the words SHIN MEGAMI TENSEI had popped up at the very end of the trailer as the whole thing reminded me a lot of something like a digital devil saga crossed with megaten 4 with a little of the world ends with you thrown in lol.
either way what ever it is I really want to see more.

I'd be much more interested in a story based rog than another game like ss/mh/ragnarok with combat I hate at its core.
Ah, must've missed that part. But didn't he say it was something with a P? At least I thought he did, so that's why I made that connection.

Haha oh man, everything got jumbled in my head! Oh well, until that's announced I'll keep enjoying Velocity Ultra.
I really love the artstyle for Panopticon. I'm worried that it will be a turn-based RPG or a monster-hunting game, though, both of which I'm not a fan of.
Of course, this isn't likely to be a Vita game, especially since the trailer did have sort of a real-time look to it. Just saying, though.

Yeah, I try to stay in this mindset. This is actually good advice for life in general.
