Like the fact that they both care or *gasp* love each other but are forced to fight each other because of their allegiances to their respective countries. And it will only end with one of them dead....

It was bad to you? Ok. But all titles are standalone, they dont need to be good to seemingly take a bad approach away from the previous title. It needs to be good just for the sake of it being good as a game. People need to let the hate of their hearts go.
