Surely it would be the reverse if it was like Sasuke and Naruto.
I agree NoctisxStella is what I'm hoping for. Not like theres any other choice as iirc Stella seems to be the only major female character we have seen so far.

I would say newer Noctis looks less like Sasuke, but man in that initial trailer he was a dead ringer.

She even does that exact same arms crossed, head cocked to the side thing, wears bike shorts, has the same face and hair. I'd think you, of all people, would recognize Lightning when you saw her.

But Seven is much more pleasant, and actually seems more like a human being.
And seeing as how Type-0 has an ensemble cast therefore having less time to focus on individual characters, I must say: "Got damn".

DE4 is in development, but I doubt we'll see it before Thief's out.
All this does is prove what you said earlier: that XIII, and by extension Lightning, could be better if written by anyone other than Toriyama. In the capable hands of Tabata's team, Lightning improved so drastically some folks almost can't recognize her.
But Type-0 is the best FNC game bar none.
What? I loved what I played from Type-0. And i know Seven and lightning are similar (and there are countless other chaarcters out there that has similarities with both). I am just saying that what Corvo said about her being turned into another character when initially she was supposed to be Lightning is just not true, since there is no actual confirmation of that whatsoever.

But only the hardcore FF fiends played Type 0 so what do we know.
All Class Zero characters are expy's of past FF protagonists and characters.

The saddest thing about Naruto is that it has a lot of interesting characters or characters with the potential to BE interesting, but they are so damn underutilized and the characters that do get focus are crap.
Except Shikamaru, those chapters that focused on him were great.

Type 0 also has a lot of famous VA's.
Seven is voiced by the JP VA for Yuna for example.

What did you say then...? If you were being ironic you were very bad at it.
I made a pretty obvious joke, and nobody else is interpreting it your way. If I said Caius was a cleverly disguised Kain would you really think I meant that at some point in development Caius was actually Kain?
Can't go wrong with the Kunagiri brothers, Izana and Machina!
He looks more realistic from the 2011 trailer. The original design was too anime styled.

Izana has the same JP VA as Reno and Axel if I recall correctly.
Machina is Dr. Strange and by that I clearly mean that at some point in the game's development Square definitely intended for Machina to be Marvel's Doctor Strange and am not just making a joke about them shopping at the same cape store. I definitely have evidence to back up this definitely serious claim and am not making a joke that a two year old could get. Please call me out and demand I provide evidence.

Jesus, when we finally get steady media coverage for this damn game I'm not gonna know what to do with myself.
On one hand I want to go on media blackout because I don't want to know too much, but you don't set a plate of turkey necks and gravy in front of a man who has had nothing but bread crumbs for 7 years and expect him to have some kind of restraint.

As far as character design goes, Gladiolus is my favourite so far.
I'm hoping the rest at least have decent personalities and stories. Ingus gives me that "traitor" vibe, so he could be pretty interesting. There's no saving Prompto though, haha.

Gladiolus and Ignis are definitely my favorite of the four. Honestly I don't think Ignis will be a traitor because he looks like one, and that's just too easy. lol
Also the fact that he and Noctis grew up together will hopefully mean he would never do that. At worst I would see Ignus as being the Delita of the game.
And Prompto looks like a pretty cool guy, but yeah, not my favorite design.
Cynicism aside, I do think we'll get a FFXV announcement. Probably isn't anywhere near completion, but I could see some 15-second teaser...for a game that won't be out until like 2016...OK, I guess it's hard not to be cynical about modern SE.
Hopefully XV isn't Versus. That rumor sucks.

If Versus is XV and we get an XVI too they'd probably focus on XV and forget about XVI for a long time. Though that's assuming both are PS4 titles. If Versus was renamed XV and remained being a PS3 title and XVI was PS4/next gen only then maybe they'd give XVI more focus than usual. Though knowing how SE rolls, maybe not.
PLOT TWIST
Kojima has been writing this entire game and you actually play through it as Prompto after the first two hours. Fans will roar and cry in fury and come to love Prompto only after he becomes a cyborg 5 years from now.
