More than anything, he never comes off as a character to me.

He isn't loud and over the top or hammy or cheesy

He just seems like a genuine good guy who likes talking games.

And this was a good video.

Kind of disappointed he didn't get into the details that emerged after the event but it's understandable and he did address the lack of specifics on online requirements in the event.

Yeah the final part is what really boggles my mind.
The worst example of multitasking, really.

"Do use nostalgia". Yeah that works on me like nothing else. When the war against imagination trailer came on and I saw Forest Law doing his punch fu my mind immediately shot back to 1998 Saturday night day after release and playing the game until 3 am with friends. Almost had a tear in my eye.

MS really should try to reach out to its core audience and show them why they fell in love with the brand and maybe even name drop a title that could be coming back from the OG Box. Without nostalgia their event although well executed felt cold and calculated compared to Sony's.

During the confernce I was keeping a spreadsheet open and making note of every time they said 'experience' or 'content'. I gave up because I lost track about 30 minutes in. I was up to over a dozen of each. :lol
