HAAAIIII guys remember that extra dlc they gave us for buying FF13 on the PS3 and said the dlc would be usable for the PS3 version of 14?.....Was it anything useful?

What they gave was a beta key. If you register that, you can get into phase 3 of the beta.

I never played 14. I was playing 11 still when it came out originally and I avoided it after seeing the general reactions on the ZAM forums and reading some reviews. DAT CE. I kind of want to buy it just for that art book. I'm scared to get hooked in and addicted to another MMO. I don't really live a lifestyle anymore that can support MMO play.

Looking pretty good, want to see more of the content structure for the game though. My problem with XIV before wasn't really the graphics (though the menus were annoying). So far I'm cautiously optimistic for this. PS3 framerate seems a bit shitty though, just like the PS2 framerate for XI. Definitely sticking with PC.

Yeah I saw the different regions, but Im actually in South America so there is no region option for me. Thats why Im hoping they ship to other parts of the world. I will try and send them an email I guess.

It's a long time since I've serious time on games of this type but you're right, it'll keep changing and hopefully improving as it moves along.

It'll be interesting to see how it holds up on the PS3 and I wonder if there will be an option to just carry on with your characters on the almost inevitable PS4 if people upgrade at some point. It'll probably be better suited on the PS4 but I suppose they'll want to see sales figures before they commit to a third platform.

I'm willing to bet that a PS4 version is almost definitely going to happen, PS4 is basically a PC in a box so they can literally just port the PC version over.

i dont trust this dev anymore (i bought the first ff14 and ff13 and detested both)

but im going to buy it for that art book

People had a lot of issues with Digital River when they ordered the CE of Ni no Kuni.

Oh thank you, that's very helpful! I actually built my PC back in December, and FF XIV: ARR was one of the main reasons behind it. The physical CE is too delicious to pass up.
