It will tell me what I want to know. Trust me.
I really interested in what your style of play is.

It seems like Platinuming PS3 games and that's it.
I didn't have any plans to buy the game again, but I really, really want that baby behemoth pet. Soooo cute.
What they gave was a beta key. If you register that, you can get into phase 3 of the beta.
What does that even mean lol.
You actually could advance conversations... with the tab key. Which is something I've learnt pretty late (and which is a shame considering how annoying it is to advance dialogue by constantly clicking).I really wish they can utilize the keyboard entirely like in FFXI. It was a bit annoying switching to mouse whenever you had to click "OK" on a popup, or to advance text conversations in cutscenes.
Hmmm rechecked the email it says a secret item when it gets released, and I guess I'll try and sign up for the beta =D

Apparently I offended people because I want to see the trophs lol.
Hey, guys! You can pre-order the Collectors Edition on Amazon!
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CYNTLDS/?tag=neogaf0e-20
Edit: I just ordered it on thereif my local GameStop starts to take pre-orders for it, then I'll get it there instead.

Thanks for posting the Amazon link! Like you, I will preorder at GS when it becomes available, since I will get it when it opens. In the meantime, placed my order with Amazon.
August is such an expensive month already for me, with:
Tales of Xillia CE
Dragon's Crown
FFXIV: ARR
New Super Luigi retail (might hold out on that, since I won't have a Wii U by then)

Likewise, I'm pretty confident they will make good use of the feedback they got and fine-tune the controls so that the use of a mouse will be minimal if you so choose.
You mean the Asuran Armguards, they were the bonus item from FFXIII's code.

I imagine they will be linked to the in game achievement system.
You can see the 1.0 achievements here to give you some idea what to expect.
Click the blue text to see the sub menu's.
Gamefly? Gamefly.![]()
Any good? Or equip that's powerfulish but becomes useless very quickly?
Players Who Own the FFXIV version 1.0 Collectors Edition
Players who own the FFXIV version 1.0 Collectors Edition will receive the FFXIV: ARR Collectors Edition in-game bonus items (Helm of Light, Baby Behemoth Minion, Behemoth Barding, and Coeurl Mount) for free. The in-game bonus items will be delivered via Moogle Letter when FFXIV: ARR launches.
Same as most pre-order/bonus items, they were good from level 1 to 10, maybe 20. Overpowered maybe for what they did, but after those levels basically useless.
I would also say that for how grindy it was back at the beginning, the items were rather a great help for starting up, later on for versions 1.18+ they were useless since you could do 1-20 in less than an hour.
Never know these new items could scale as you level.
Are there even any shots of this game on ps3? The PC version is gorgeous, and I'm terrified that the ps3 one will just be an atrocious mess.
Lol... in FFXI, what was the main stuff you liked to do?
Personally I loved crafting and selling/reselling on the AH, more than joining parties for exp or doing quests etc. I did lots of group activities and loved helping low-level players. None of this play reflected on the trophy list for FFXI, IIRC..

Wait, they're really doing another CE for this?
Awesome thank you.
No it's all a big joke. Like a late April's Fools.
The joke is the cost for the collectors edition
That Artbook is totally worth the price, not mentioning the box, postcards, soundtrack, documentary and the security token.
And I'm not really paying for the game, since I'd get the free download regardless.
I'm curious: do you think FFXI's achievement list is indicative of what its focus is?What's up? I've put thousands of hours into 11 and WoW. I know what I want and don't want from an mmo. The troph list will clue me in on what the focus of the game is.
Sorry if it's been answered in the thread - is this one PS4?

I'm a tad confused with the pricing with entree and stand...what's the difference?

Entry is as cheap as the 6 months plan, but you get less character slots.
Yea I did find this slightly odd, for a game which allows you to do everything on one character why would you need to pay more than the entry fee ?

I honestly did not realize XI had an achievement list till this thread. I played it from the J-release on PC till AU came out and then stopped. I just looked it up and, yeah, that's kind of what I'm afraid of. I have zero issue with the missions, but leveling up every class.. bleh. Even after all those years I only ever really got sam and rdm to 75 or whatever cap was back then. Though the achievements listed above for FF14's ingame system seem pretty decent, but they obviously include max rank every class/craft/whatever.
And I never paid extra for mule accounts lawl.
Eh, guess I expected too much graphically from the PS3 version. Have the hardware demands in the PC version gotten better or worse since original release?
