Shit. But I have to say, Bayern was better today. Only if we had scored right at the beginning of the match, a victory could have been possible. Unfortunately, that did not happen and München played very well for the rest of the match. Maybe a red card against Ribery or Dante would have given the game another twist. But even reaching extra time would have been very lucky for us.

I'm super proud of the team, even though our fairytale did not finish with a happy end. This CL season was just so much more than I expected. So many great moments and victories. And that disappointing result today of course, but that's football.

Still...

You're fooling no one, bro. Your team colludes with evil and would likely purchase the very soil and stone of Dortmund were it not for a carefully maintained system of light-aligned warding spells.

I excluded Lewa on purpose ;) , other than that it was sincere. I never expected them to be this good. In the end Bayerns exprience simply prevailed.

I adore this music as the champions make their way up to the trophy. Anyone happen to know what it is?

It's a track by Two Steps From Hell and I think that it is 'Everlasting'. UEFA already used a Two Steps From Hell track before every match of the European Championship last year when the teams entered, 'Heart of Courage'.

I was thinking that because it is the 5th trophy, they get a second cup, but no, after winning those three in a row, the count is reset.

Will be interesting to watch these two next season, big changes are coming to both of them. BVB is still looking for some talent and they have the money. We'll see.

Congrats to Bayern-GAF! And Dortmund-GAF too, great final.

Something felt off about the celebrations though, I dunno if it was the lack of noise and passion by the Bayern Munich crowd, or the respect for Dortmund or what.

Nah, its the bullshit of making the players lift the trophy in front of all the business men. Who sit down quietly in their suits right behind them as they celebrate. Looks so awkward imo.

Imagine it was the winning teams fans behind the players as they lift the cup. It would be insane.

Pretty entertaining match. Dortmund played really well today (and were clearly superior in the first half), but it'd be a shame if this Bayern team missed a CL title.

Dortmund deserved to win. Such a shame.

Agreed. Really sad. Ah well. They are a great team, cant wait to see them in the CL next season. Dortmund really captured a lot of peoples respect this year they have been the story of the final and continue to be after it, really exciting team!

Yeah, that's definitely a big part of it. Such a terrible idea.

But I also noticed the stands looked deserted (not just the Dortmund sides, the whole thing) while the players were still running around the pitch with the cup. WTFFFFF, who the fuck leaves while your team is celebrating the damn UCL?
