Vita PSN Game & Service Thread | May 2013 | Lovecraftian Wasteland

is klonoa ps1 on psn? that's a pretty great platforming game as far as challenge go, I seem to remember crazy section near the end where you have to constantly suck enemy to jump further or fall to your death

At least here in Europe Klonoa ps1 is on PSN. Played it on my vita, not completly finished. Need to go back to it, liked it very much but then came Soul Sacrifice.

Recommendation: Passing time. First PSM Game I bought, its great! Will buy Rymdkapsel in a few days I think.

PlayStation Facebook page asked what's everyone's favourite PlayStation Mobile game. Half the comments complained it's not available to them, the other said stuff like 'God of War' and 'Fifa or COD'.

Sigh.

I'm in love with quick PSN games... few bucks and great fun.
Is there a website that reviews these games? Most of them are totally new to me.

Is men's room mayhem hard or am I really bad?

Yeah I think its hard too. Usually can't get past wave 11, and with some fights going on. It seems like the maps are too small for the quantity of people running around and I dont find the touch screen button to work that well sometimes, its like it doesnt compute wich character Im touching.

...which are still games, which people still enjoy playing. Doesn't make them shovelware. In fact, I've just finished Batman 2, and it's probably the best retail game I've played on Vita since LBP back in September. Just like with Call of Duty, some people need to learn that just because something isn't perfect for them doesn't mean that others won't enjoy it. And really, maybe we should *not* be giving shit to he few western devs and pubs actually bothering with Vita? ;)

Harry Potter on the vita is the exact same thing you can get on your ipad, except one is a lot more money than the other.... Maybe if they didn't charge an exorbitant price on the Vita and marginally less on the ipad it would be okay by me. Hell, if they charged the same price as the ipad version I'd be all aboard the TTgames train. But, they didn't. And they don't. Edit: Just checked. The ONLY Lego game available on the Vita and not available for about $4.99 on the Apple Store is Lego Lord of the Rings. That price gouging is unacceptable to me as a consumer.

Is there any chance they're going to release a Vita revision within the next 8 or so months? I'm thinking of trading in my current Vita and getting a new one (the screen is scratched to hell), but I'm willing to wait if a new model is coming. It's definitely getting to that sort of time where they usually would update the hardware.

If they announce a revision it'll be at E3 most likely. I suppose Gamescom is a possibility as well since they've made those kind of announcements there before.

I wouldn't bet on it though.

Yakuza could be coming to the Vita? Oh yes! This system is going to get some top momentum from E3 I think.

Also, playing Quell Memento at the moment and it is wonderful, so relaxing to play, even when the difficulty ramps up.

I have been debating whether to get a Vita or a 3DS. Is anyone predicting a price drop for the Vita any time soon?

With E3 literally right around the corner I would wait to see if there are any price cut announcements. Not worth getting either console today when there's a chance you could save some money to put towards games :)

Bulky? Any smaller with the current screensize and what you get is an ergonomic nightmare. Don't make the system smaller, make the battery bigger.
I meant more in terms of thickness. It's pretty bulky in those sort of terms. Doesn't even fit in my jacket pocket.

It's a brand new one. It looks REALLY nice. I love Quell too.
Holy shit, awesome! Not sure if I'll pick it up on Vita or my phone though.

I meant the thickness as well. I needed to buy a grip to make holding the system comfortable. I still would prefer a higher capacity battery than a different form factor. Just a personal opinion.

Why? The current Vita could definitely be revised a bit. It's really bulky and has no video out.

:(

Can someone explain to me this desire for video out? I've seen a few people mention it, and frankly I don't get it. I understand PSP had it, but did people use it that much? Being tethered to your tv like that kinda kills the whole "play anywhere" aspect. Not to mention scaling some of these games up like that would make them look like ass.

Apart from a handful of people needing/wanting to do video capture, I fail to see why the average person would need it. What am I missing here?

I loved the ability to tether my PSP Go to my TV and play with a dualshock. It's nice when you're at home and want to play comfortably for long periods of time without worrying about battery life or eye strain. It was awesome to bring around a collection of PS1 games to my friend's house to play games on the TV without carrying a console or anything.

Rayman Legends AND Toukiden confirmed..

Yeah Vitas gonna get some titles since those were just the baby leaks before anything...

I think its safe to expect big things VitaGAF
