I only ever turn it off if I'm changing memory cards.
So it seems like its already turning into a good week for Vita announcements Toukiden, the Moe RPG localizations, Yakuza teased, Death Ray Manta, Real Boxing, Hacker Evolution, Rayman Legends announced. Pretty good for only a couple days into the week. Mylist of stuff to look forward to continues to grow. I just hooe some of it actually starts coming out at some point.

Wut? It wasn't mentioned in the store. I thought that was its default price, now it's too expensive with £4,79. Not buying it with that price.
he is SCEE right? So we should wait until end of Gamescom then. I actually have higher hopes for that than E3...last years gamescom was the only good event out of the big three
I'm wondering things he was referring were Toukiden and Rayman Legends.
(Simultaneous releases are not ports, right?)
Finally I can switch between minis, ps1, psp, and now vita games so easily. And with sleep mode so easy and quick to boot up, it makes playing whenever you feel like it so simple and fast to do. ;_; tears of joy.
Now if only those memory cards prices fell to more reasonable prices...

Might be part of the "dozens" perhaps, but it would be a huge disappointment to pass off either of the two games as some faint-inducing megaton.
I'm sticking with my prediction that it's Minecraft. "Not a port" would still apply because of whatever new touch screen features would be included.
We all know that no matter WHAT game it is, it will NEVER live up to the "faint-inducing" hype. That's the bad thing about hype.
Meruru is the sequel, the game itself should be similar but with new characters, monsters, alchemies etcSorry for quoting myself but.
BTW, is this gonna be digital only again? I'm not sure I like that.

For me, they go 1>(origins)>2>3. I just think Rayman works better in 2D. Still, Rayman 2 is a fantastic 3d platformer, 3 not so much for me (still good though)

If vita succeed to get exclusives, multis, indies and ios games then vita become the definitive console, that's the reason why i bought it and what i still expect it to be.
yeah that's the thing..his hints are pretty vague. I mean even Toukiden I can see myself playing for hours every day

Also, Toukiden is that monster hunter game right? You folks buying it? What's so special about it? To be honest when I heard that it's also a PSP game my interest in it waned rather dramatically but maybe I am missing something.

I feel bad about saying this, but when I saw the screenshots I couldn't help but to think of the word: "pandering"--especially when I saw the various swimsuit/bikini shots... uhhhh.
But if the game is good enough I can look past those issues no problem.
How can you miss Killzone
If he is anything like me, playing another FPS sounds tedious.Playing another FPS on a tiny screen sounds unbearable.
To be fair, if you buy it at this point you won't get those swimsuits at all!

Bear in mind, there is PS Mobile version, and a PS Vita/PS3 version. The latter should be crossbuy (and crossplay)
Another FPS? It's not like the Vita has any worth playing besides Killzone. I know it's cool to hate on FPSes and shooters these days, but they are still insanely popular. The real problem is that it's Killzone, and presumably most of the work went into making the PS4 installment.
And you hold the tiny screen much closer to your head than your TV is, so it looks like the same size. Unless you have a monster sized TV.
It's mostly kawaii than pandering, I guess there are some special scenes (actually just one, that involves a tentacles, it's part of special fishing event). It's a great game especially if you want a break from saving the world and moody characters JRPGs.
You missed the swimsuits anyways and it's not like you had to use them.
Okay? I gave no judgement on FPS games as a whole, I said I was personally tired of them, and maybe he was too. I also never indicated that the Vita had a lot of them. You are inferring a lot from things from my post. Stop being so defensive. The Vita is great, I love mine.

A sequel to a game already on the Vita and a localization announcement are nice, but they're hardly some kind of MASSIVE EVENT (unless you're of the Vita is dead/has no games persuasion). If I were to guess, it would involve a core focused, multi-million selling IP to warrant that reaction, but we'll see.
In any case, Shahid never said anything about how far along this project is, and there's no guarantee it will be revealed any time soon.
Without any more detail, the whole "dozens" remark doesn't really tell us much. I mean, even without Japan-only and PS Mobile titles, there are still around 80+ games announced for the Vita. The majority are indies, but still, our scrappy little handheld is certainly getting games by the buckets.

Does anyone know if these Vita games (european releases) came with a tearstrip in the plastic seal? Formula 1 2011, Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3 and Shinobido 2. I've asked several of sellers on Ebay regarding Shinobido 2, and none of them had a tearstrip in the plastic. I'm more unsure about the other two games.

Well then, you'll probably like the game.
It's quite relaxing, just adventure around, do some crafting (just got to watch your time... well that will makes sense once you play the game) and Totori is adorable. Heh.You can also change BGM for Ateliers and Normal and Boss battles. Quite a large selection of tracks from their older Atelier and related games, I especially like Mana Khemia ones.
I'm not sure about the price.. since I'm in the UK.
I just remembered he said unannounced title so neither Toukiden nor Rayman may not be it (IIRC they both were known from few months ago).
I guess we'll have to wait and see.. It's not even confirmed that it'll be announced at E3, right?

I'm going to buy it. It is a monster hunter-like game but is based in ancient Japan with demons or some shit because it is developed by Omega Force. Because of this you have some rather interesting weapon choices. There is also aerial combat and dismemberment. The Vita version is beautiful and the monster designs are really interesting, so no worries there.
Hopefully they will put out a demo sometime.

To say that game is "inspired by" Monster Hunter is a gross understatement! It looks almost identical interface-wise... the life and stamina bars, the icons representing the other players, the map... the whole hud id built exactly the same way and with everything in exactly the same layout as it would be in an MH game!
This is the first I've seen of this one, and really I'm a little taken about by how much of a clone/rip-off it appears to be. Buuut.... the setting is interesting and the combat in that video looked satisfying, so I'll get on-board most likely when it comes out, especially with no real MH game for the Vita.
