When is the eastern final?
6am EST
LGD.cn vs Rattlesnake

You and me both. I was the last to pick in RD and I figured our Warlock would be better off supporting a side lane, so I picked QoP
of pain
. I am really bad at judging when I should be leaving my lane to gank, so I usually end up either really underfarmed (see my GPM) or we reach the 20 min mark and I realize I haven't ganked once. I got a lot of assists and I helped our PA farm by using Scream of Pain on a creep wave and letting him last hit them all. But I was still disappointed because I sacrificed farming to go ganking and I ended up with few kills and shit CS.

Edit: Oh man, looking at the Dotabuff link I had almost forgotten about that game. Our Warlock disconnected after he hit level 6, and the enemy team started grouping up and ganking us. They were winning and I was pretty worried, but the whole time they almost completely ignored our PA while he free farmed top lane. Me, SK, and KotL grouped up to defend tower pushes while PA farmed, and we actually kept their whole team at bay and stalled it out. Our Warlock ended up reconnecting, but I was unsure of how useful he'd be at level 6 when everyone else was level 13-14. Dude comes in and uses his ult, PA joins us, and we win a teamfight. PA snowballed and went beyond godlike and we ended up steamrolling them after what I thought was going to be a 4v5 loss.

One of the best things about Dota is that you can turn games around like that.

Not what I meant. I'm talking about being a sidelane support and setting up a gank on midlane. In your case, usually a good time to think about ganking is when you get a good rune and have adequate levels for your hero. You set this up first by pushing your midlane out about 30-40 seconds before rune spawns so that you force the opposing mid player to CS under his tower.

I could try to bet but I have only so few rares :S On the bright side, half of them are for a character I don't understand how to use so I would not be losing much.

I try to think that way ( well not about understanding the hero, but more I about not liking playing them ) about my 4 uncommon I just lost with EG vs Fnatic.eu.... it doesn't help that much. ><"

NS's upgrade is the best in the game. Furion scepter is situational, but its not as god awful as some of them. CM's is pointless, Doom's kinda awful, OD's is pointless, Real talk eblade is more dmg then scepter on Ogre, Rhasta's sucks cuz the hp stays the same, WR's is useless.

Hm, how does forcing them to CS under their tower help you gank them?

I thought I recognized your name!

We actually had a really hard time with our SK, he wasn't communicating or coordinating for shit, but he became a monster so whatever. I was playing Windrunner btw.

edit: lol I didn't even remember him building a Battlefury

That was the game. The draft went fine I think, but we had other issues. We didn't bother SK enough which was how he became a monster. I didn't even remember him getting a BF either, and somehow we never could kill him. Who were you in that game?

Ever since someone told me that Refresher was better on Warlock then Aghanims I've never looked back. For just about 1000g more you get twice the explosion damage and double the stun length, plus the Golems aren't nerfed. The extra mana is basically a non-issue: by the time I get a Refresher using Ult-Refresh-Ult usually still leaves me with 2-300 mana left.

Sigh, going to give this another shot. Downloading Steam client update then the game. I'm a bit frustrated with LoL at the moment, might as well give this another try.

My rares!

Well hopefully they bring it back in game 2. PA not nearly as good a carry as AM, Alch or PL for this team. Hell even Spectre may have been decent.

Dendi just ran rampant. Especially vs. a mid Mag.

With either game, you have to stick with them long enough to find your rhythm and have a working understanding. But good luck! Just don't give up.

Watching Vici V. Mineski replays on Twitch, this Kurtis Ling guy is unlistenable.

Un. Listen Able.

Didn't even get to watch the whole final match, had to skip ahead. This dude better not be casting the finals. Just Purge and another dude. Maybe Purge could take off his shirt too? I'm just spitballing here.
