That light blue..
I'm crossing my fingers that the next Project Diva will offer a LE teal Vita. I'd probably cave for the light blue though.

Dunno if you guys saw, but another RPG was announced for Vita/3DS:

"Developer FuRyu has announced on the latest issue of Famitsu that the team is currently working on another dungeon crawling role-playing game called X Tetra.

In X Tetra the unnamed hero is the only one who can absorb the mysterious X energy from monsters and use it to work miracles. This unique ability will be the key in saving the X Tetra world.

Artist Enami Katsumi, who’s worked on Star Ocean: The Last Hope is going to work on the game as well as the famous composer Yoko Shimomura who has worked on many games’ soundtracks."

The character designs look awesome:

yayyyyyyyyyyyy!

So you give SS 64 a seal of approval? :D yayyyy also welcome back. Line Up is slowly becoming better and better

game Wishes it had N64 smudge textures filtering, but yeah it's pretty good.

on other hand Tearaway is really looking more and more like an N64 game, there was a thread when the game uses N64 fog to hide it's low draw distance, really bad stuff.

yeah let hope more and better games comes.

Dat generic animu style. It's getting reaaally old.

Fired up Soul Sacrifice so I can beat the story mode tonight and to my surprise there is a patch that adds a good amount of features to the game along with bug fixes. This should be good.

Random, but the superstitious side of me thinks that Vita's fortunes would look completely different if Sony had given the system a signature opening animation.

It's so...out of place without one.

I just wanted to take the time to perhaps brighten someone's day - I just found out you can hold down the + and - volume buttons together and it will mute you Vita.

I had no idea. . . thanks, and I'll take my old news beating off the air.

Yay I can post now :D
Hello vitagaf! Long time lurker here.

My vita actually started malfunctioning last month. I would get random freezes and restarts at seemingly random times. Contacted sony support and two weeks later today I received a brand new vita courtesy of sony support! Now to catch up on the gaming!

WELCOME. Got a selection of good things on sale stranger.

agreed. Tearaway looks like a cute game tho btw :)

I think the rage inducing elevator music that constantly plays (until you turn it off) is probably the thing most responsible.

I can take the stupid video playing, but the music, the music is what makes me dread changing accounts on my Vita. And you can't turn the volume down, because it's not mechanical, the volume resets when you reset the Vita.

So this might have been answered but...where the hell is Velocity Ultra?

Europe?

For the life of me, I can't understand why there needs to be separate stores (and thus, separate certification processes). At one time it might make sense, when different countries had TVs that ran at different frequencies and thus needed different games. But that's a moot point on handhelds, not to mention modern TVs.

Toto is okay about 5% of the time. But man, his opinion on Tearaway is disgusting and ill-informed. It makes me hate him.

Nice. Welcome!

Well, yay. Got the team mode stuff done in Blazblue. Now to get 200 PSR and win 3 ranked matches (yay... never will be able to do either of these) and I'm done with online, I guess...

Welcome. Make sure to be more active than me and try not to get upset at the stuff Toto posts and you'll go far here.

I always thought these days it had more to do with stuff like ratings, language barriers, and stuff like that. There are some games for instance which cannot be released due to ratings issues in some countries(I remember I think mortal kombat 9 was banned in Australia, and Germany). Language barriers is an obvious issue, and then you have IP rights problems.

I know thats why we pretty much never get the Super robot wars games, because in Japan all of the properties belong to one, or two companies. Where as in the U.S everything belongs to someone else. I agree it sucks, but I can understand why its not just one unified worldwide store.

Well, you can make things available in different countries without having an entirely different store.

I mean, that's kind of how it works in Europe, not everything is available. But AFAIK, there isn't a separate certification process for each country in Europe. Or even North America. There's some stuff that doesn't get released in Canada.

Just finished Thomas Was Alone, a lovely little game with graphics that really fit well on Vita's screen. The ending was a little bit underwhelming, had to repeat the level because I was sure I've interrupted the ending scene by pressing a button - but it unfortunately does cut quite abruptly after just a couple seconds.

Other than that, though, the game is great. Some really nice ideas along with a great narration and characters :3

Working my way through this game right now and am really enjoying it. The mechanics, combined with that wonderful d-pad are making this a joy to play through. Easily my favourite game of the moment and I'm hoping it doesn't finish any time soon.

I hadn't read anything about it other than picking up a few lines of praise here and there and seeing a few screens. I was pleasantly suprised with the characterisation, which isn't something I was expecting based on the screens.

I just hope Sony announce something on the storage front during E3, my 32GB card is starting to creak and thats with me purchasing retail where available. I'd love to see a card with a larger capacity or even a revised system with internal storage/non-prop. card slot.

Man, the top of this page makes me cry for the lack of colour choices... Love my black Vita, but after extended use it looks all jizzed up. :(

Also, anyone got any experience with 3rd party USB connectors? Only charger I've got is the dock, need something more flexible for when I'm playing a game.

It looks like a psp game to me, i really hate multis with 3ds, they are so ugly :(
Why only multis with psp are good looking? :(

I don't think the style is that generic, more so that the poses for those portraits look really stiff and similar. If they gave them a bit more flair to make them distinct, they'd look way better.

Even the portraits from MIND=0, despite not looking as "pretty" and clean, show off way more about the characters than X Tetra's.

mmmmmmmm

Generic animu style ALL OVER MY FACE ANYDAY.

On a separate note, I started Grandia (PSOne) on my US Vita yesterday. Goddamn dat screen, it makes a decades old game look like brand new.

I'm seriously tempted to buy a Vita but I'm worried a price drop may be imminent. Do people think it's likely to drop in price soon?

Sony's press conference is ten days away. Not guaranteed, but it's worth waiting for (unless you can find one on sale right now anyway).

Ha, now I'm afraid to pick it up.

Yup, but the game is still supposed to be pretty good.

Don't know why anyone would play Legends of War when they could play Allied General instead.

Once I turned the music off, it stayed off permanently. Oh, you're talking an actual account change. That sucks. But plenty of reasons to keep account changes rare, sadly.

Quell Memento is actually pretty nice. There's a demo which lets you play the first two chapters and it's also only £2.40 to buy anyway. I don't usually like puzzle games but I found the demo quite relaxing.

I think it's out next week in NA.

Didn't see it mentioned yet, so...

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2013/05/30/limbo-comes-to-playstation-vita-june-5th/

Limbo coming to PSVita next week for $14.99.

I'm quite liking this influx of (older) PS3 games being released on Vita... gives me the chance to play the older games I couldn't after my PS3 died. Wonder what else is in store for this E3? Personally wouldn't mind a God of War 1 & 2 HD Collection; haven't played those 2 in years (since I beat them on PS2).

Just came to post this. Pretty cool.
