I'll just want to get the link to the presentation, and GAF / twitter / facebook / Nintendo's site / youtube / any gaming site / etc. will be a minefield of spoilers!

Bookmark this.

When you get on your PC, go on the internet and go right to this, don't look up GAF, or Wii U because they will be threads about everything.

I was thinking the opposite.. so far.. I believe we can debunk 100 Year Old Gamer since his Direct predictions didn't come through

And the line-up of Ninte3ndo Direct rumor

Technically he said "3-5 Nintendo Directs before E3 starts"

So if he wants he could say...

1. May 17th Direct
2. Capcom May 31st Direct
3. E3 Direct - June 11th

save this for after the direct ;)

I think this is the first time I'll be on the road while Nintendo's E3 showing will be on instead of being at home enjoying it live. But it is just a Nintendo Direct :|

That actually sounds like a really interesting scenario as long as it wouldn't be a strictly stealth mission. Something like the Gerudo Fortress in Ocarina of Time could be nice. It could encourage a more thoughtful approach just by including a large number of enemies. Without a proper weapon, you probably don't want to rush in. You might pick at them from afar with a bow. Then, once they are alerted to your presence, you can plant a bomb and run away to another location. I really enjoyed the Hidden Village portion of Twilight Princess. It was fun sniping at the Bokoblins with the Hawkeye since it was more difficult (from what I remember) than running in, even with a blade.

Oh man! Bokoblin sniping was my favorite thing in that game! Loved that part!

And yes, I didn't mean stealth gameplay, just that Link would use other weapons and items instead of making everything about the sword. We just had a game that was all about the sword so to change it up, another one that doesn't use it almost at all would be interesting. Maybe make it a quest to find the sort in a world where the Legend has been forgotten and nobody knows who or what the Hero of Time, etc is. I would find that incredibly interesting.

People who think they're going to change up Wind Waker are going to be disappointed.

People who think they are gonna do nothing aside from touching up the visuals are gonna be surprised.

Is this even true?

Also, it took them 5 years to make Skyward Sword. What makes you think they can do an HD remaster of Wind Waker, AND put new content in it, in a year's time?

I think we'll be lucky if they even update the geometry.

It will have been two years by the time WWHD releases. Other studios make a new game from scratch in that time.

Project Update #25: Update #24: Mega May is Done! and The Black Knight!

Hey Shovelers and Shovelettes! It’s been way too long! First, a quick update on our progress. We have been working to square away the last of the business proceedings so we can jump into the game in full. In the meantime, we have been working on Propeller Knight stage and developing bleeding-edge tech like animated tiles and palette shifting! We promise that you’ll see more of this stage very soon... maybe even in unexpected or exciting places...!

Yacht Club Games is teasing a new look at a new stage in Shovel Knight, their Wii U and 3DS eShop game. The interesting part? "maybe even in unexpected or exciting places...!"
To me this screams either Indie Direct or indie segment on the big Direct! HYPE!

You know what Team Ninja should do?
Zelda: Gaiden (Or Side Story)
An action spin-off in which you can play as Link, Sheik, and Ganondorf.
Link and Sheik's story intertwine while playing as Ganondorf let's you see his side of the story (Like fighting through Hyrule Castle to take over)
Lots of flashy action, some puzzles here and there but it should feel different from a Normal 3D Zelda.

Guys...Just 1 more week and we get to see Nintendo's big series in HD for the first time!

I can just imagine Iwata and Reggie watching the trailers over and over again laughing.

I'm loving these hype GIFs/posters.

I hope not. I'm all for showing Indie games at E3 conferences, but this Wii U focused one should keep them out. They want to show their big guns and the people reasons to buy a Wii U, Indie games atm are not appropriate for this situation. I hope they have another Nintendo Direct that is focused on Indie games.

Edit: Derp, I just read that part where you say Indie Direct.

A 2-3 minute sizzle-reel with Indie games wouldn't be that bad? :)

Did anyone really believe him in the first place?

He's still basking in the glory of attention. People keep claiming that he's just for fun, yet they keep showering him with questions that he no doubt loves coming up with answers to.

I'm not fond of insiders like these, legitimate or not.

Well a sizzle reel is a different story, but I think giving dedicated time to focus on the games would be the best thing for Nintendo to do since it sends out the message that Nintendo cares about Indie devs, so the best thing possible would be to have a Indie Direct, IMO.

Ohohoho, time to spot the E3 bear!

Why not both? I was thinking indie sizzle reel anyway. They wouldn't spend minutes explaining how you jump on your shovel in Shovel Knight. It would just be a "hey, we also have indie games because we love indies and you should finally realize this you dumb idiots in the press!" (sorry got carried away there).

I bet they will have indie interviews on their E3 All Access page.

Nibel should start the hype train.

Yea, both would be better. I do wonder about how little press attention Nintendo receives for their efforts

I want that Joker gif to say "And bear we go".

Haha that would be funny.

I know a friend's cousin-in-law's uncle that work at Nintendo.

He wasn't able to get much in terms of bombshells, but he was able to smuggle some footage of the next 3D Mario, named Super Mario Afterlife.

Spoilers beyond this link.

Also, you're an idiot if you even slightly belived me.
