Sansa would pay for Arya now that she and Tyrion are in charge of Winterfell (if that's really the case). So she's still worth some coin. And Sansa owes The Hound for saving her so she won't turn him away.

I have a feeling that Sansa will eventually come to terms with her arrangement and Arya will (hopefully) link up with Danerys or Stannis a few series from now to get her vengence on

I think the Hound is sentimental when it comes to Arya and Sansa, but he's otherwise a brutal man who doesn't seem to care for much else.

I think he pity's them, he knows the world is shit and he pity's them not being able to do anything about it.

He himself is pretty much the result of the world hes in, kill or be killed and do whats best for you.

I think in all honesty the Hound is a decent dude who has spent his whole life pretending to be hard and not care in order to be like/surpass his brother. He seems very emotionally scarred from his childhood, plus the physical scar makes him look imposing, which would lead people to avoid, fear, or if he were weak enough bully him throughout his life. So he seems like he's pulled between genuinely being a good guy and constantly putting up a front as a survival mechanism. That's how he strikes me anyway. I mean what is the worst thing he actually did? Kill the butchers boy? And that was under direct orders of the king...

She should join a winning team. #teamWhiteWalkers

Brienne is gonna be pissed

Everyone she swears to protect dies or gets maimed. That's why I said I want her to swear to protect Jon or Sansa next! Or maybe Daenerys.

Just re-watched the episode and what strikes me is how cool and casual Lord Bolton was. He just sat next to Catelyn laughing and grinning his way through the wedding, knowing what he was about to do...

I mean this confirms that it was his men that burnt down Winterfell right? He must have been planning to betray Robb for ages.

He's something of an enigma to me. He's okay for bad shit to happen to innocent people, unless he has a moment of softness...and for that duration of time, he's decidedly NOT okay with it. I'd be one thing if he consistently stuck up for kids being taken advantage of because he was a bullied kid himself. There'd be a vein of consistency there. But...he did gut a kid on command without hesitation or care, and would have for damn sure done the same to Arya and Sansa if he was still working for #TeamLanister.

He's...he's like Smeagol for LoTR. You never know what he's going to do, though he clearly responds better to Arya than anyone else.

I don't think I've ever posted in this thread but wow. What in the world just happened? I mean I know what happened but what in the world. Wow. Why did Argus Filch have to do that? Boo this man.

I liked Robb. Now I sad. Guess I shouldn't have gotten so attached to the Stark's.

So... how is the finale going to end if they threw this in episode 9?

I really hope I don't have to spoil any of this.

this was the most disturbing part of that scene

that betrayal was as cool as it gets.

Brienne is gonna be pissed

and more importantly, what will her new boyfriend do...

I'm genuinely shocked that someone with a flayed man trussed up on a cross for a sigil is calm and collected when betraying his king in the most brutal way imaginable.

Shocked.

The secret superhot granddaughter nobody knew existed, because trololo.

Walder Frey is a smarmy old fuck.

What if Cat had just lied when Robb asked if he saw any of his daughter in Season 1 and instead of hesitating, just said, "oh yeah! There's this smoking young hottie that wants your hot Robb-bod!"

Then after everything is done, this one shows up at the wedding, no harm, no foul.

Same way the previous finales have gone. Reactions to the big event of 9, wrapping up a few things, some setup for next season, maybe a nifty final shot.
I guess so. It's been a while since I saw the season 1 finale after Sean Bean was killed much to no one's surprise at all. Though I do remember being sad that he wasn't going to be in anymore episodes. I blame George R. R. Martin for not writing his character into more books.

Speaking of which, I'm sure the Onion article has been posted numerous times by now. But if not, it's hilarious.

Heh. I guess it was one of those hide in plain sight deals, I mean all the Northerner's seemed fine with him and even super paranoid Catelyn wasn't bothered at all by him.

Yeah, that might've worked, but what if Filch didn't present his finest hour (or, at least, couple of minutes, huhuhuh) but put forth one of the more munty ones? We have no way of knowing he would've given Roslyn to Robb for certain.

It was all part of Lord of Light plans.

1 down, 2 to go.

Don't matter at that point. War's over, he's won, and he goes "yeah bitch, not gonna do it cause your women ain't good enough. I'm King of the North. I'm out."

Arya is still worth money to the Hound. As far as anyone in Westeros knows, Sansa and Arya are the only direct descendants of Ned Stark still alive. Which means their children will contend for the throne of Winterfell. And Sansa's husband is a notoriously drunken, malformed dwarf, who may not even be capable of fathering a child. Which means that whoever gets Arya gets Winterfell in the next generation.

The most reasonable places to sell her would be Riverrun, if he were feeling nice, or King's Landing, if he weren't. No doubt the Lannisters could find a pretty but dumb cousin to fob off on her.

I'm definitely looking forward to Jaime's return, if for no other reason than to see his reaction regarding his sister's marriage.

I haven't read the books, so after last season, a friend who is a book-reader told me "I'm so looking forward to next season", I told him to shut up and not say anything, but he had to add "Of course, but you know the wedding between Robb and Talisa? Not good". I knew Robb had broken an oath, I knew it would have bad consequences in some form or another, but once he points out that specific event out off all other events that could have bad consequences, I knew right away death would be involved (that's how GoT rolls). It was more brutal than I thought though, didn't think both Robb AND Cat would die. Book readers don't really have bad intentions, they are excited, but just pointing one thing out gives it importance and spoils some of the impact.

Dang, what an idiotic thing for your friend to say. Especially after you told him to shut up about it.

Is not the current perspective on said situation as far as Westeros' power brokers are concerned.

Not gonna lie, I'm seriously looking forward to Joffrey confronting Sansa about her family. He's going to have the biggest shit-devouring grin on his face Westeros as ever seen. He's such a slimey turd there's zero chance he disappoints.

Well, certainly he's not capable of fathering a child with her as things currently stand. :P

There does seem to be an expectation that he can, though.

Whos going to pay him? Bran? there are no more elder Starks left who even care if she is alive no?

I just want to see more Tywin smackdowns of Joffrey. Or Tyrion talking shit right to his face and getting away with it. Either way.

Given the last 2 weddings we've seen. I can't imagine what kind of fucked up shit will happen with Joffery's...

Haha. Loving peoples reactions to it. I know two people I'm meeting tomorrow who will watch it tonight and I can't wait.
