Well, it seems that the street date is already broken (not my pics)

Jeez :( How is this even possible? Time for a media blackout I guess, before some smartass on Youtube is gonna reveal the end of the game.

You really are desperate to try and start something aren't you?

He doesn't even need to put that much effort into it, just wait for the first 8/10 review to hit tomorrow and we'll see a 30-page thread of people freaking out within a few hours of its release.

But maybe GAF has learned something from the last time that happened (and they'll only freak out at the 7/10 review).

8.8 from GamePro is no 8 from Eurogamer ;) Backlash against low scores will happen eventually. No hyped game is really safe unfortunately.

I just really don't think that there's going to be some U3-type meltdown. There might be some that complain, but I doubt it'll be all that much. Right now there's too much to talk about with E3 around the corner and games being announced on a daily basis for any one topic to rule the forum. There will probably be far more fanning of what little flames there are, than some huge shamewall.

The reviewer was very positive about the game, he only mentioned occasional ai dropouts and mixed graphics quality.

play3 says the game has a great story (12-15 hours length) while Gamepro claims it has a 08/15 story.
So I guess its safe to say it will take people atleast 12 hours to beat it.

Isn't 08/15 a German only expression? Is it used in other languages? In case it isn't it means generic.

88% is a perfect score. Reviewer probably disliked a thing or two for him to give it a 10/10, but does not remove the fact that he probably enjoyed the hell out of it.

Anyone aiming for fanboys to rage over it are pathetic persons.

When the weekend hits plenty of people should have copies you could always find copies of newly released games at your local flea market before the date.

I'd say 1.3. It's easily the worst Zelda game I've played.

The lowest score for it on all of Metacritic is 78%.

I didn't love Twilight Princess, but it was a decent Zelda game, I would have a very hard time justifying personally ranking it in the 70s. Definitely on the absolute lowest end of the 80s, though.

I really don't think the story will be groundbreaking or something. It will probably shine in its execution and acting, but I doubt it's anything we haven't seen before. Naughty Dog aren't exactly known for their writing either. I'm not even sure if Druckmann wrote anything before TLOU.

That being said, calling it generic is probably a little bit too harsh, especially for a game. Really interested how this turns out...

Rating Zeldas seems like a near impossible task. TP isn't great, but it's much better than WW and SS. I think Jeff was maybe a little high, but seventies is too low.

I enjoyed the first 20 hours but never finished it. Lacks a litte bit of pacing.

Did ND say something about the Story DLC that comes with the season pass? First they said there will be no singleplayer DLC so why did they change their decision? Still looking forward to the game, I hope it has some surprises.

That's your opinion.

I'd say WW > TP.

And it's not even friggin' close.
I just can't agree :/ I really don't want to turn this into another Zelda thread, but TP is easily the best Zelda of all time for me after Majora's Mask. It just hit all the right notes with me. I really liked WW though and prefer the artstyle to SS, which looked not good IMO.

who cares what a game gets reviewed? i never understood that. The game looks ridiculously good and either I enjoy it or i dont. Someone else reviewing it has no impact on anything
