Guys stahpppp with the tea. Who cares about polygon? No impacT
No impact, but it is good to know who should be ignored from now on for reviews.

Some of the encounters are mandatory, there's no way around them.
For me I was engaged and enjoyed the sandboxes for most of the game. It felt tedious during the last two hours or so, but otherwise they manage to make it feel fun (or at least, I made it fun for myself by using the tactics I did)
Sounds great, you have to expect some forced stuff. Some of them can't be avoided as they are thrown at you and thus have already seen you when you get control of the action.
Most times enemies haven't and you can decide how to approach the situations but there are those forced scenes too.
Yeah wtf is up with that? there is no way i'll watch their video review but no score at the end seems really weird.
Yep, seems like weve got ourselves the game of the generation ladies and gentlemen.

8/10 is a pretty good score believe it or not.
why is it so extremely rare? please explain
17 - 19 hours sounds too long. Hope the underlying gameplay, scenarios, and encounter design can actually support that.
I didn't hear any hyperbole from him in this review on that level. Will watch shortly. Aside from that one infamous quote, I loved his Bioshock Infinite review.
They're at the very least in the argument for the best developer. The turnaround they've made this generation is quite amazing. They were always viewed as a good/great developer, but in this generation they somehow stepped up in every aspect.
One highly negative review in the midst of a slew of highly positive reviews is irrelevant. Chill.
I'm not trolling. I'm actually pissed. But whatever I'm calm now. Just think it's bullshit is all and unfair to Naughty Dog and Sony.
Damn, Oprah is looking rough there.

Don't any other reviewer in here get taken out of the immersion when Ellie or any other NPC character can run into enemies without them noticing while you do your best sneaking around? Because that is the one major issue for me so far in the game.
Most else is outstanding.
Then why didn´t they give it to Halo 4 (9) or Modern Warfare 3 ( 8.5 ) ?.
Reading the Eurogamer review. My God, it sounds good.
Why are people even talking about Polygon when we have plenty of actually relevant sites to read?
Sad that we've even been trained to see 7.5 as " highly negative"
Some reviews actually said the graphics were a bit uneven. Have you completed the game?I also have to add that it's the best graphics of this generation on a console.
Hahah you know what that sounds very plausible,GT couldnt showcase 95% of the game so they put a 3min "reflection" with no score
Whats Good:
Wonderfully crafted road trip, with superb writing and vocal work
The interaction between the characters, all of them, is top notch
Often beautiful graphics and animation
A haunting, delicate soundtrack
A sensible, sensitive script, with some really touching moments
Staggering scope and ambition
Amazing introductory section, hugely affecting conclusion
Whats Bad:
There are slight issues with pacing in the middle for an hour or so, which feels oddly padded
Very occasional animation and scripting issues
Have you played Remember Me or TLoU?
I've never been a fan of Polygon (I think most of their writing is pretentious as hell) but I also think it's really stupid to mock these scores without having played either game. Like other people have said, it's the UC3 review thread all over again.

Predictable scores, will need to play it for myself really.
A diversity of opinions is not unfair to anyone and should be the expected outcome of any set of reviews.
FYI Sessler says no spoilers in his video review, so watch away.
What if all those other sites are paid off by $ony?
Sad that we've even been trained to see 7.5 as " highly negative"
Not sure if facetious but this is what I'm talking about. Is this a genuine claim or is it fanboy skepticism because PS3 titles don't fair well here? And if it's true, then isn't an agenda like this some form of dirty business? THAT is my only concern... based on these claims.polygon IS ms-pr
always doubt what you read from them and even better, just ignore the site.....
