they have screwed up somewhere on their time conversions. there is a three-hour difference between eastern time and pacific time. but for the june 11th schedule, they have "1pm ET / 11am PT" and "2pm ET / Noon PT". no where else on the schedule have they made that goof. the nintendo hour will either be at
1pm ET / 10am PT, or at
2pm ET / 11am PT.
my guess would be the latter, because unless GT has some extra vip insider access before nintendo opens up the games to the media event attendees, that would coincide perfectly with when the media will have access to the new games (11am-12pm PT).

honestly? damn I'm starting to remember the hype from last year and subsequent ice cold disappointment..

Well we know for sure that they have the new 3D Mario, Mario Kart, and Smash so that's where I'm keeping my realistic expectations. Anything else is just icing on the cake.
Not really. The stuff Nintendo has shown in January + the new Mario game already makes it a decent E3 for me. I'd love to see more new stuff, but I'm not expecting anything except maybe Retro's game.
The Direct is at 7:AM, but what time is the Software Showcase with Reggie and Miyamoto?
E3 2010 hardly had anything leaked other than we knew Skyward Sword would be there, and we heard about DKCR a day before the conference and some titbits about the 3DS.
And that conference was amazing.

I see this as a possibility, since Firebrand brought the original to Wii, they should bring TM2 to Wii U.

Goledeneye was leaked as well, and we knew some details of 3DS. Considering how much we knew, it was still godlike.

It's been such a long time since I've listened to a podcast with good ole' Demon Hatefield.
It is entirely possible we are only going to see Super Mario, Mario Kart, Smash, X, Yoshi, SMTxFE, WWHD. Entirely possible. So set your expectations.
Personally, MK, SM and Smash is enough to get me excited, but I hope they throw us at least one surprise.

No, because, New 3D mario, Smash Bros and Mario Kart as megatons are enough. Anything else than it and I will be jumping of insane happiness.

Yeah. Although I'm not really expecting anything, the fact that it's published by Ubisoft at least makes me slightly hopeful. It'd fill a pretty big racing void on the Wii U.
I still remember the days on GAF where we got pics of the showfloor before the pressconference. The showfloor was covered in white sheets(?) but we still could identify which game(s) where there. Back in 2009 we knew before Nintendo's presser they were going to introduce a NSMB game.

how does that even make sense? they made racing games for god's sake lol
Do people really expect more big 1st party game announcements ? There's so much to look forward to already. The Fall release schedule is gonna be crowded with games plus some games out in early 2014 and beyond. Sure, we know about them, but most of the Wii U titles in particular, we haven't seen how they look or play like. We pretty much had a mini E3s for Wii U and 3DS earlier this year in terms of new game announcements.

Is Reggie going to be interviewed by Geoff again? If so, what questions do we want him to ask? I would like to have some confirmation of a unified account system so if that's not announced around E3 time, I hope there's a question or something about that.

Lately you hear rumors and not definite leaks. There were rumors that NoA received a DVD in a locked box and it turned out to be the trailer for Other:M.
The best leak was when folks xrayed photos of the E3 floor the night before the conference and revealed New Super Mario Bros Wii.

Well yes. If they still fail to have a proper E3 (and hence preview of the whole year) the third time, not only will it provide another crushing disappointment, but the console is as good as dead as well.
What worries me the most is shit like Wii Fit and Party missing in the summer Direct...

Reggie will just avoid answering or downplay the tough questions like he always does. He'll especially do it for Wii U because its performance in 2013 has been so pathetic, there's no way for him to make Nintendo look good by being honest about the situation. Nothing important comes out of those interviews unless there's a game announcement to go along with it like at last year's E3. Reggie will just discuss the big games coming out because that's gonna determine Wii U's future. If Geoff brings up the past, then Reggie will have a look on his face like he'll want to knock Geoff's head off.

i like theire games even better
What i want out if e3, aside from the stuff we already know about/expect like zelda and mario:
-A propper new waverace
-metroid prime 4
-eternal darkness 2
-no crossover fire emblem
-on rails starfox, mostly in arwing
-f-zero with gamecube controller (need them analog triggers for maximum control)
-baten kaitos 3 (will finally push me over the edge to start play bk 1 and bk origins, I have read many positive comments towards those games)
Although all of them is of course not realistic to expect, if we see even one of those I will declare this the best e3 ever in the history of nintendo
I do hope we see many if not all of those during wiiu's lifespan.
