This is great, dude. I dunno what it is, but my Dad's been really excited to take the family to see this, too. And my Dad hardly gets excited for movies, but Superman was the hero of his generation growing up, apparently. Good stuff.

The 3D is post-converted. And since much of the movie was shot single-camera & handheld, the conversion is probably gonna be pretty iffy.
Although who knows, maybe Warners really nailed the conversion. But in my experience, there hasn't been a single post-conversion 3D experience that's been worth the time or cost.

Yeah he's pretty much told me the exact same thing.
Yeah it's rare seeing older people also hyped about Superhero movies. There is something about Superman that seems to capture a lot of people's imagination.
Edit: I've turned down early screening tickets because I want to see this with my pops and son. I have a feeling I will be spending a lot of money taking my kid to see it multiple times.
