Who wants to guess what it is?

Yesssss.

I doubt it would be anything HUGE though, as it would be more impactful at the conference itself. Maybe Kinect Sports next-gen trailer?

And Kinect haters gonna hate, but Kinect Sports is absolutely fantastic. Really fun to play. I put many hours into playing that with my friends. I would love to have a next-gen version with a more accurate Kinect.

@theScott117 Definitely not true, I can't respond to every unsourced online rumor . . but that is false.

So you think he'd have just ignored it if there's some truth to it? May be so but I'd still say Microsoft PR isn't the best source to confirm whether or not negative rumours are false.

Oh dude go away, he flat out said it's not true and sounds pretty sure. Stop willing for it to be true.

Could be Kinect sports, but the "new first party title" read to me like it would be one of the 8 new IPs, which is pretty huge all things considered. Obviously won't be something like Black Tusk's IP lol.

Something from Rare maybe? They are rumored to be working on up to three titles.

If it's MS Osaka's game I'll lose my shit.

Larry stonewalls tweets about rumors or stuff he can't discuss. That he replied to this at all is reason to believe it.

I'm going into full tinfoil hat mode but isn't weird that the majority of posts like ...

Are coming from juniors?

We must stay away from these threads because so many X1 fans have been MIA after entering them.

Yeah that's why I asked here :)

No way will it be the Osaka game, that'll be saved for TGS!

I mean I don't understand what you mean but I'm glad its not exclusive. I wanted to play diablo 3 with my xbox 360.

What i mean is this; if you have been following this stuff even well before the PS3 reveal all the signs were there it would come to both. Especially after the wink, wink comments from Blizzard. Activision loves money so I see no reason why X1 wouldn't be in the loop sometime as well.

I think all three conferences/shows are going to be the best in years. New consoles, their libraries, and a hungry Nintendo that has a lot of titles in the pipelin (at least SSB U, Mario U, and maybe even Retro's game). Going to be one of the best E3's in memory.

12:30 PM ET – 2 PM – XBOX: A NEW GENERATION OF GAMES REVEALED
Live from the Galen Center, Xbox's Don Mattrick and Phil Spencer take the wraps over more than a dozen new game announcements for the Xbox One. See the world premiere of RYSE: SON OF ROME from CryTek, the first live gameplay of FORZA 5, plus many more surprises from Microsoft Studios and third party publishers across this 90 minute showcase.
Am I reading that right, over 12 new XBO game announcements at MS conference?

The conference must be packed if they are showing a game BEFORE the show, and then showing another game AFTER the show.

Plus SoA, but I think I could guess it now.

11:50 AM ET / 8:50 AM PT – XBOX PRE-SHOW WITH EXCLUSIVE REVEALS!
E3 stars early on Spike and GT as we kick off our coverage from our new studio at L.A. Live in Los Angeles. Our countdown to the Xbox briefing begins when Xbox's PHIL SPENCER joins Geoff at the Galen Center to announce all the games that will be a part of the Summer of Arcade lineup for Xbox 360. Plus, you don't have to wait until the Xbox briefing for a game announcement: Microsoft reveals a new first-party Xbox One title during the pre-show with the world premiere trailer.

12:30 PM ET – 2 PM – XBOX: A NEW GENERATION OF GAMES REVEALED

2 PM ET – 3 PM – THIEF, SAINTS ROW, FORZA, CASTLEVANIA, RYSE AND MORE
Immediately following the Xbox press conference we're back live with reactions and world premiere demos — and ANOTHER Xbox One game announcement from Microsoft that you won't see in the press conference!

Anyone else MS will knock this conference out of the park? Just imagine if all the rumours come true lol.

I think they will do an amazing job.

MS intentionally didn't want to blow their games load at the first reveal, which sucked short-term, but now that we're at the door step of E3, they should have a LOT of goodies to show. After all, we still know very little about any of the games, especially first-party. Hell, we didn't even get any on-stage demos. MS is certainly primed to bring their A game and unload a lot of games all at once. And for those who care about the entertainment stuff, they loved the first reveal (I have cable, so I was pretty excited about the TV stuff they talked about).

And what's great is that they aren't even showing everything at E3. It sounds like GamesCom in August is their next big event where they will reveal more games coming out for the One. Should be good.

I am a complete football and soccer novice, know jack shit about either. Is it possible they could do something similar in Europe?
When watching the reveal a bunch of friends of mine expressed real interest in the NFL stuff if they could do the same for the BPL and other major European football leagues. Wouldn't overly interest myself despite being a football fan, but something like that could be huge.

Assuming the NFL stuff isn't US exclusive I'd say it could do well enough in Europe too. The sport itself is picking up support and I personally know quite a few people who like it and have started to take a bit of interest myself.

Edit: also, with rumors posted that Sky could try and roll out Xbox One's as a set top boxes in the UK it could potentially be huge with a similar European model. Just think of all those Sky Sports subscribers sitting with their instant figures and stats. They'd lose it.

All this talk of Esram, what the hell does it mean?
Didn't read much of the thread as it was mostly a mess. But as I understand they've included X amount of static ram in the system and for whatever reason it's produced some sort of architectural issue which is causing a lot of the units to fail in production.

The speculation is that MS is going to have to change the system slightly to make their design more stable to cut the lose of faulty units, but at the price of performance. Or, produce more units to make up for the lose of the multiple faulty units and eat the cost.

I'm not clued in to the exact details because if my course of study has taught me anything it's that computer architecture is a bitch to understand unless you're really well read on it. But that's the general idea. Not sure how much of it is true or whatever.

Edit: long beaten.

They were saying it was having low yield problems and decided to underclock the APU in order to increase the yield.

Major Nelson just said this is false.

But now the new argument is Major Nelson is a 'shill' and that means he can not be trusted for this information.

I think things are definately getting interesting as we approach E3.

Can't wait to see the games though.

Let a lesson be learnt, don't enter any X1 threads!

Yep.

I'm off to bed, but final thoughts on the latest news; Everything went better than expected.

Now bring on dem games.
