Woo, Team Hades. I think he's got just as much chance as any other KI rep. He outranks Medusa and matches Paleutena! Also the banter would be brilliant.

Based of quotes, this is what I gather the next Smash to be like. Speculation, of course:

-Smaller Roster. Tighter, more-balanced selection

-Characters have abilities to unlock different movesets/costumes. For example, there would only be one Mario character but you'll be able to unlock new moves and customize them. For example Mario can unlock a FLUDD which would replace the special moves of default Mario. Link could unlock different items such as the SS whip as opposed to the default Hook Shot. The 3DS version could be used to unlock a lot of these movesets/items.

-Much smoother, better connected online experience with Matchmaking/Leaderboards etc.

Now what I want to see:

-Different gametypes that allow for much larger maps and 4 v 4. Objective based gameplay like CTF, KOTH could really allow for some really intense, strategic gameplay possibilities.

- A much deeper, well-balanced, challenging single player adventure mode that doesn't suck..


I am HYPE...I cannot wait much longer for this reveal I just can't wait to see the character models and graphics because it will be a good indicator of what the WiiU will be capable of for first party titles.

You want more balanced yet you want customized movesets. It don't make sense since Customized moveset often are not balanced at all. I would vote for more characters than customized movesets tho.

You want more balanced yet you want customized movesets. It don't make sense since Customized moveset often are not balanced at all. I would vote for more characters than customized movesets tho.

Sakurai mentioned being able to level up your character so I'm having a hard time imagining how they would be that while remaining balanced. The best thing I can think of is leveling to unlock more moves, not necessarily better or stronger moves - just more customization/variety at the cost of a smaller roster.
