Totally agree. Worst part is more people will be joining them, finishing the game, before I even get hands on my copy.
Good news is, I'll probably distant myself from the game and this thread until next friday since I can preoccupy myself with E3.
If sony decided to have the release date pushed to today, it would have been awesome. But this is going to be a painful last week to wait KNOWING that spoilers are out for an potential game of the generation.
With the rate juniors flock in, they could very well just come in. Do as much damage as they could and abandon their account since they obviously didn't see much value in it.
Its happened in the Playstation Community last wednesday.

I never heard of that game before. Hmm it does look, uhhh, inspired.
Jennifer Hale and Steve Blum are in fucking everything.
So my friend managed to get a copy....
He invited me over to watch him play (I secretly wanted to tell him fuck that, and steal his copy, but I try to be a good friend) and I guess people weren't lying about that Intro.....
The only word to describe it is "wow". An even that doesn't really give it justice to just how incredible the intro is
I won't watch anymore of the game though, just wanted to see what all of this intro hype was about. And, well, it's deserved.

Yeah, my GTX 770 purchase is currently on hold because I want to buy a PS3 for this game...

I feel sort of guilty now for spoiling myself in a way. It's easy to be hyperbolic about things, and honestly it makes people look like hyped fools when they do so. But the intro in this game is probably the greatest intro I've experienced in my history of gaming.
I'd say the only one that comes close is Bioshock 1 intro, but this is better for different reasons.
I honestly can't wait for this game to release so people can write/film (would be better this way) there reactions! It will be glorious.

I'm guessing the leads stay pretty independent with Druckmann and Straley leading TLOU and Henning and Richmond on Uncharted or w/e their PS4 game is. There's probably a ton of movement when crunch time comes.

You know what? fuck LBP:Karting. I need something better to get this game off my mind now.
I'm going to finish up Uncharted 2. Jump in straight to U3, then top it off with maybe Xcom.
Ridiculous, Sony. Annoyed at the broken street dates, handling of the demo in GoW:A and the whole deal with spoilers.
Hopefully some leaks for E3 happen soon to get my mind off of this.
It looks awesome, but not better than The Last of Us.

I'm torn between my love for naughty dog/the almost unprecedented universal critical acclaim/respect for mature video game storytelling and an absolute hatred of anything to do with post-apocalyptic settings/zombies.
I guess I'll end up buying it day 1 but I'm really not sure if I'm going to enjoy the setting. Then again, it's the games for which I have the lowest hype that I usually end up enjoying the most
