Seems like the PC version will come out on the same day as the Xbox versions.

My guess list for the 12 XB1 exclusives we'll see at the presser;

Crackdown 3
Ryse
Forza 5
Halo spinoff 2
Killer Instinct or Banjo
Mirror's Edge 2
Black Tusk new IP
Quantum Break
Dead Rising 3
Lost Odyssey 2
Insomniac new IP
The showstopper, maybe Fallout 4

I believe Fable IV and MS Osaka's new game(s) will be saved for Gamescom and TGS respectively.

Good point, I'm also interested to see how they fair sans Molyneux.

Lost Odyssey 2? I just can't see it happening. :(

As much as I would LOVE to see that, I think its fair to assume that at least 2 of these 15 IPs will be family-casual kinect games. Kinect Sports 3, Kinect Fitness would be my guess.

Sounds about right. Two or three -- including that Rare-developed island game thing.

They cut so much stuff to maintain that 60fps.

Like night racing? Sure, but that is offsetted by the buttery smooth frame rate and you have to applaud Turn 10's dedication to 60fps. Whichever way you slice it, if you remove half of your processing time, sacrifices have to be made. Hopefully with the increase in raw power, Turn 10 can put those cut features into the game.

That brings up a point though, do you think night driving could be a thing? Maybe not forza but maybe PGR5? They did show off that illumiroom thing with the light effects for a racing game. Also, in addition to having more powerful hardware, the One now doesn't have to dedicate all that CPU power to sound (something about it can take up to like whole third of the processing power). That could be freed to do lighting effects 'n stuff.

Turn 10 have said that the reason they did not put in night racing into Forza was because they could not maintain 60 fps. Like I said, with the increase in raw power, that reason should be voided now.

Let's play in the land of make believe...

So, besides crackdown 3. I would LOVE another LO or Blue Dragon. I'd really love that. I would love some other Japanese support... I'd love to see NIS or Atlus (besides those two bad games on the 360). I want some really weird fun stuff.

And weather

This is from a jalopnik visit while they were making Forza 4

While I agree, it's open to interpretation whether he was saying 360 only games don't count or XB1 and 360. I think the latter, a few the former.

Regardless they got it out of the way, like other titles, to focus on the megatons on Monday. 12 XB1 exclusive games, both first and third party, at one single presser. Shit doesn't get more real than that.

Yea you're right. Could go both way.

The fact they are revealing 2 games one pre show and one post show and also more on gamescom they must have a ton of games. I don't think they will show all the games also I'm expecting some 360 hardware announcement/price cut since they have big surprise for that as well.

Not a huge racing game fan but damn that Forza looks good. Day/Night and weather is all I want.

I wonder when we'll hear about the Osaka studio and what they're doing.

Not during the MS conference that's for sure. I hate sounding like a debbie-downer on this cause I am VERY interested in what they are planning game wise from this studio, I'm just not sure anymore if MS trusts japanese developers.

I would love for the great Hironobu Sakaguchi to get back into making a Lost Odyssey game, instead of making iOS games. I guess he'd rather surf on the Big Island and not even try anymore. A pox on him!

I don't think the freed CPU would be very useful for lighting effects, but for "stuff", why not. ;)

Where have you heard this?

Doubt there will be a single JRPG on the console. They haven't had one in 3 years, and I don't see them trying to win over the Asian market, especially with lack of rentals and online requirements. And since Microsoft is so out of touch with it's audience they probably think that's the only people interested in that genre.

I'm thinking Epic will be the surprise announcement, Phil Spencer will say something like "back in 2006 we introduced Gears, here today you get to see the next universe from the genre defining studio who brought you that series. Mark Rein walks out on stage etc.

I honestly wonder if Epic will still be able to surprise us... Gears was a big announcement indeed, for graphical performance but also for its game design (it had a big influence on all TPS of the current generation after all).
Despite his strange persona, Bleszinski may be the main reason of the original success of Gears, and since he's not on board any more (and didn't really do anything different since anyway), I'm not expecting much from Epic. Apart from Gears, I don't remember anything as big coming from them since the original Unreal Tournament.

Except for the two that actually came out in the last 3 years. (Final Fantasy XIII and it's sequel. And the 3rd coming next year.)

And I'm sure they opened their own Japanese studio to make mobile phone idolm@ster clones and shmups.

Will any of the streams be available on a mobile device? I want to watch this but I won't have access to a computer. The only thing I will have is my phone and wifi. I'm hoping one of these streams will be available on my phone. E3 isn't the same when you are looking at live blogs.

Phil Spencer (I think) said they'd be revealing more games and stuff at GC. The tweet was posted in here, but I can't remember the page number unfortunately.

It would make sense as I doubt Microsoft will, and are able to, show all of their games at E3. Also, wouldn't this be the first time they have been at GC for quite some time?

Well, I don't want to be jaded until I have to be. They bothered by opening a new studio in Osaka, not all is lost. Something will come of this.

I think their last appearance was in 2010 or 2011, so yeah, it's been a while. Will be interesting to see how it's received at GC.

Not any more. Fantasia and others got outted early for this reason, IMO. Microsoft are reeling from the hits and Monday is when they fight back. Count on it.

I have full confidence it's happening. Believe.

Well you're wrong.

Microsoft Studios Osaka was set up for exclusive Japanese content and are likely working on a JRPG right now.

I've had two friends in the industry tell me independently LO2 is a thing, though admittedly they differed on who the dev will be.

Microsoft are going in harder than ever before in Japan this gen.

You sonofabitch. You're taking far too much pleasure in messing with me and my emotions man.

And just wait until you see Juno and Vela's next gen gloves! Made with 100% unobtainium.

You better be in chat on Monday, just in case they do announce these.

Oh I'll be there. I'll be sure to rub it in when they announce both Bloodwake and Jet Force Gemini.

I'm actually really pumped for it, new generation of games is about to be revealed. Exciting times.

But I would like to see a Kinect Sports 3. :(

Ha, I'm sure it'll be there, maybe the Rare game from the Reveal?

My electricity would go out Sweet Billy style, possibly due to the World ending.

Same, after seeing what T10 have managed with Forza 5 I can't help but get excited. E3 of forever.

I'm betting Big Park for KS3

Unfortunately I don't think Fantasia is published by MS. Then again, it does give them space for core games during their presentation. :)

Not all the games they show will be MS published aka part of the Famous Fifteen. There's going to be third party exclusives there for sure.

They need to bring it and they know it. One foul up could cost them dearly, but 90 minutes of hit after hit may be a game changer.

We'll see, but I doubt there'll be as much of a Kinect focus as you predict.

"Sweet Billy style." ......I LIKE it. :)

They might have games, but it's still going to be the same wanky awkward presentation they've been giving us for four years.

I dunno why they don't hire professional presenters tbh?

Dis guy 's what we call "generally reliable" in the gaming community. :) Also, famous is mod-approved as well. There's a lot of other ones saying similar things dude, don't be so cinical. :)
