Seriously, I wish the mods 'd change the way banning works. Why not, instead of saying just "Banned" say "Banned for derailing" or "Banned for shill" or whatever so people don't derail threads by trying to guess amongst themselves why on earth the guy's banned. IDK, just my suggestion.
 
Judging from the amount of people that claim to be disinterested in anything MS is doing from this point forward, I expect the official conference thread to be pretty tame... (tho I should know better).

Man, I heard a couple hundred posts from a mod (though he admitted he didn't quite know), then three hundred, then two hundred, then six hundred, then three hundred, and now I just heard four hundred.

Any recent full members remember or have a way to find out how many posts are required. Also, take into account that three months must also have past. So you may have gotten approved on your 400th post, but only because three months just past right then.

I'm expecting the official thread to be quite lively with hate and not much discussion. We'll see. The problem is that the Sony press conference is not for a good long later. like 7 hours or so.

Curious to see how the forum holds up/looks like around 1 am eastern...

Highly doubt it. You know the usual suspects will be there ready to downplay any big news. And there will be big news.

Expect to hear lots of "Kinect lol" and whatever nonsense they spew now.

No kidding. The last week I've refrained myself from posting very much because I didn't want to get caught in an arguement and wind up getting banned. I'll probably do the same for all of E3. I tend to stay out of MS topics other than this one.

It's definitely 300 posts and at least three months to become a member.

Luckily, the servers will probably go down. Hopefully the twitch channel we all got set up is reliable and troll free.
 
I'm still here. By god, MS has made a huge clusterfuck of the reveal, but I'm still amped as ever to see what games they have to offer on Monday.

Its 400 Posts and 3 Months. After both conditions are met you become a member.

It has been a rough couple of weeks. Good thing though is that I can feel that it will soon be coming to an end. It sucks that we have to wait, but it won't be long in the grand scheme of things. :)

We've done some tests and from the looks of it, it should be able to handle the 20 people we gave the pass to

It's just one guy, Hix, who keeps talking about MS Osaka this, Osaka that.

No offense but he is not a reliable source and there is no official talk about anything Lost Odyssey by MS whatsoever.

None taken. Bummer though; loved the first LO, and would be thrilled to play a follow-up.
 
I have a feeling come monday night/tuesday morning, there will be a different tone to the board. I think there will be a lot of vitriol for the industry in general. I have a feeling the ps4 will have a similar drm. so, there will be angry gamers in general.

I took tuesday off work as well as monday. If the servers survive, it'll be interesting all next week.

Hopefully, this wasn't too much of a derail.

I actually like both mistwalker games. I'd love a blue dragon 2 myself. more animated and light hearted fun old school grinding rpg. But it sold worse than LO so if there was a revival, i'm sure that would be it.

Agreed. I generally stay out of rumor discussions, but I couldn't help myself when it came to LO.

Actually, now that I am looking at who's been banned -- are people being banned for merely defending the XBO now? Or do they take their defense to some, well, indefensible length?

There's been a couple of obvious Sony shills banned as well. Look up Rumba & Rogue_Ledr. But yeah the majority seemed to be very pro XB1.

We all want to see the games. Because they're next-gen! But... fuck me runnin... MS must get rid of their bullcrap policies/requirements. I can't justify buying an XB1 if they don't. :(

Thanks man. I've been searching on here today trying to figure out what the rules were on that. I really wanted to post a new topic and was bummed out when I couldn't. Anyways, looks like I should comment more often and not just read everything.

Yeah, I completely understand. But, until i have all answers definitively without vague speak (which I feel we've gotten from sony) i'm going to just chill on all that and check out the games.

Ultimately, I'm kind of hoping for the rumored 99 dollar 360 in a weird way. I haven't had a 360 in years and would love to play some of the older games I missed. Love to get viva pinata 2 and crackdown 2 and at least play Gears 3.
 
I wonder if they are going to do a live Kinect demonstration on stage. After all the fall out from the reveal is it even worth doing another staged demo.

That would be quite terrible to do a live presentation, to much interference, to much noise, to much everything. not a good idea.

With it packed in the system it has to be shown on the 10th. I will even admit Im interested in seeing what they have done with it.

daebo, hopefully they were smart enough to program their models to not move in an inhuman fashion this time.
 
My Body is ready for E3. So what is the gif for one more day going to be? I can't wait to see! :P You guys rock and keep the hope and hype going! Seriously Crackdown has to be announced its like my most hyped thing since I know alan wake 2 isn't happening yet. LO2 would be awesome though or even Blue Dragon 2.
