"Saturated fat causes heart disease as much as Brawndo is what plants crave."
That's just it though, there are no 'gods'... The only one who actually does anything is the Lord of Light. The rest are just bedtime stories kids like Bran grow up reading.

How do we know this? I mean we have dragons, undead, and basically necromancy with that guy the hound killed. And the mind control stuff, and some weird thing with wolves.

pretty solid episode. Oh Joffery and his temper tantrum. Everything was built up for next season. Stan the man proving why he is awesome. So now stannis is going north to help the nights watch deal with the walkers, pimp shit. Onion knight and Jon Snow batting together will be awesome to watch.

That bastard snow(roose son) dude is even more of a maniac then I expected.

arya is totally going to become a ninja woman. love it. i just need her to somehow team up with daenarys.

I hope Jaqen returns now. Also there was some heavy foreshadowing about Frey pissing off the gods, hopefully we see him suffer soon.

haha that was really the least subtle foreshadowing ever.

I'm really confused about Ramsey and I feel silly for asking but I'm afraid to google it due to spoilers can someone explain to me what the hell is going on between Ramsey and Theon?

It was the only thing that had me scratching my head. Otherwise the episode was great although it did end a little flat.

Well he knows about Bran and Rickon and specifically talked about hunting them or whatever, so that could become his next task after dealing with Theon. Especially because his father is now Warden of the North and Bran is the rightful heir.

Yeah Lord Bolton's castle can't be that far away from Rickon's destination so he could be in trouble. Lord Bolton trying to sort out the North after the Frey's shitfest of a could be interesting as well.

i get the feeling that stannis is going to be the only one to actually respond to that message from the night's watch, just because him and davos are fucking bosses.

i can't see the lannisters giving a shit.

Ramsey was the one who put Winterfell to the torch and captured Theon. He's been using him as his plaything ever since.

Ramsey be fucked in the head, yo.

Remember season 2 when Robb first heard about Theon taking Winterfell and Roose Bolton offered to let his Bastard son retake for him? Ramsay must have got there with his army, taken Theon off the Iron Islanders when they gave him up, then burned WInterfell to the ground as a fuck you to the Starks.

Dany has reached Rock God status
I know it wouldn't make sense storytelling-wise to have her killed but the way things have gone on this show when Dany was making her way through the crowd I almost expected everyone to clear away and the camera would go to Dany bleeding and holding her chest. It was a pretty tense moment for me, lol

I know I wanted Theon dead after his betrayal of Robb and Winterfell but I can't say I wasn't happy when I saw his sister gearing up and sailing to his rescue. Cersei got across a look of both relief and disappointment at seeing Jaime again. Curious to see how that storyline plays out.

Davos is also one of my favorite characters. He's so honorable I love it. And Arya is becoming a stone cold killer, which is understandable after what she's been through. Hope she doesn't lose too much of her humanity though.

Pretty satisfying season, now the long wait till next season,

Now we have time for real shows...like True Blood!
I'll be watching!

No doubt, I bet it will only be stan and his crew of misfits while tywin will tell roose that its in the north so its his problem now.

Welp. Time to start reading the books for the first time.

Also, True Blood in a week and then Boardwalk rolls into town. 9 months ain't so bad.

Man that music during the last scene was gorgeous.

Can't wait for next season. And by can't wait, I literally mean I can't wait. What the fuck am I supposed to do now??? At least we don't have to wait as long as book readers lol.

Fuck that Red headed bitch Ygritte.
GOD DAMN IT 10 months FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

May as well read the books... I liked the ending but this episode should have been 2hours :/ The episode was more filler than closure. :**********(

No longer boycotting the Wolfenstein franchise
Stand tall non-book readers!

Who will stand with me and not read the books at all during this ridiculous wait?

I can't be arsed to read such giant books in a series that's still incomplete. By the time the next installment comes out, I'll feel like I should reread everything so that it's all fresh in my head, but that'll be totally impractical. So, my current plan is to only read the books once they're all published.

Why break down now? You know the show will end before the books, even with the 1 year waits.

My friend honestly believes everyone who said they'd quit the show after last week will actually quit.

His faith in people to stay by their word is almost precious.

Season ranking for me:

1>>>>>>>>>>>3≥2

Still a quality series, but this was the first season that really gave me the sense that there was too much material and too little time. Lots of strange pacing choices, so many arcs felt underdeveloped and rushed (EVERYTHING about Theon's storyline felt like the writers were screaming "don't worry, it's annoying now but it's important for next season. We swear!" And don't get me started on everything Dany). Just didn't come together as strongly as the intensely focused first season.

Said it before and I'll say it again: Game of Thrones needs longer seasons. At this point I feel like having to cram so much into 10 episodes is actually keeping the show from being as good as it could be.

It literally takes them 12 months to do 10 episodes, they don't have breaks. There are 2 or 3 units going at once, and they shoot across 3-4 continents. They've said before, you can have 10 episodes per year, or 20 episodes every 2 years.

For some reason, unless what they're shooting is exactly what we see on the show and nothing else, I find it hard to believe they don't shoot enough material to grow to 12-14 episode seasons and give their stories some breathing room. The show really needs it at this point.

I actually think this season was a waste of time. As others have said before, there was a whole lot of nothing going nowhere the entire season. Maybe the entire book can't be done in 10 episodes, but the 10 episodes that have gone by could have been trimmed down to 5. I mean, how many minutes were wasted on that scene with Shae and Varys?

Maybe they real reason for the split is to give Martin time to finish the story.

Anyway, time to forget this series exist for 9 months.

So much humor. Joffrey's outburst, Ramsay's sausage, Gand Maester Pycell vs Tyrion, Hound's reaction to Darth Arya, Hodooooor, Tywin's facial expression throughout the council meeting. Hilarious episode.

It is. There is almost zero cut material and no deleted scenes on DVDs.
