This describes how I'm feeling atm. It's consuming me. I look at games like Driveclub and start to feel a tinge of hype but then a voice in the back of my head goes "But they're going to fuck you on DRM!" I want Sony to do the right thing just so I can relax for a minute and think about actual games again.
See, that's what bothered me about the cloud. "Look guys, it's not always online. Hey check out this awesome online feature games will utilize, more power!!!!!"You may very well be right, that sounds totally plausible.
... unless they say 'we're not talking about that right now'At least we only have less than 24 hours left to wait.
Would anyone else be able to enjoy the Sony conference a lot more if they addressed the DRM situation either before the conference or right at the start?
$$$I wonder why Ubisoft's so enamored with the Xbone's policy while still reiterating support for the Wii U.

How does the DRM even get worse?
Eh, still doesn't top Sony paying Rockstar to come out on stage and announcing a logo to a game that never existed.First, it's not happening in a vacuum. Piled on top of everything else MS is doing, it's certainly doesn't help their overall perception right now.
Second what seems unprecedented here is the amount of payola for a single conference. It sounds like there's at least 3-4 titles that MS will be getting exclusive announcements for, just for the sake of something that will be confirmed to the contrary before either of these consoles launch anyway.

What Yoshida tweet is this?
Of course! If the news is good, it would be a smart move by sony to get it out of the way so we can just enjoy the conference. It's going to make me even more anxious if they don't say anything. :-

Yeap, my sentiments exactly. First E3 or generation ever where I've been as apprehensive and nervous as I have been excited.
Which one?
Yep, it was at 105. They are deleting old info, so as to not trace it back to him.Am I crazy or did cboat's post count just lower by 26 or so posts? Could have sworn it said 107 or 108 when he made this thread and now he's at 82. Weird.
Still, thanks for the info, buttocks.
People are saying Yoshida made a drm joke or some such.

Fucking outstanding.CBOAT: You thought I'd help out on specifics? I'll confirm what you get, try to keep you on the right track, but that's all. Are you guys really working? [GAF nods] How much?
GAF: I don't know maybe sixteen, eighteen hours a day--we've got sources at GiantBomb, Adam Sessler, Weekend Confirmed, Game Trailers, but it's still drying up.
CBOAT: Then there must be something, mustn't there. Look, forget the myths the media's created about Microsoft--the truth is, these are not very bright guys, and things got out of hand.
GAF: If you don't like them, why won't you be more concrete with me?
CBOAT: Because the press stinks --history on the run, that's all they're interested in. You come up with anything?
GAF: On April 19, 2010, Phil Harrison resigned from Atari's board of directors. On March 13, 2012, Harrison joined the intercative team at Microsoft. Yesterday, Geoff Keighley tweeted that Spike would have a giraffe at E3. That doesn't exactly have the ring of truth, since the animal was at Spike's Guys Choice Awards. Don Mattrick's been found--there was talk 3rd parties had 25 million in cash in a paper bag not show multiplatform games on PS4.
CBOAT: Follow the money. Always follow the money.
GAF: What do you mean? Where?
CBOAT: Oh, I can't tell you that.
GAF: But you could tell me that.
CBOAT: No, I have to do this my way. You tell me what you know, and I'll confirm. I'll keep you in the right direction if I can, but that's all. Just... follow the money.
Yes, it doesn't stop other silly things in the past from being silly. It also doesn't stop this from being false equivalence.Eh, still doesn't top Sony paying Rockstar to come out on stage and announcing a logo to a game that never existed.
Well, Microsoft had a good run.
This is pretty amazing. Well done.CBOAT: You thought I'd help out on specifics? I'll confirm what you get, try to keep you on the right track, but that's all. Are you guys really working? [GAF nods] How much?
