Dont mess up with the core game play of KI 2.
You have short / long solid combos, counters, counter counter, you want to be flashy? be careful or else you may find yourself losing. And if you are flashy you can do it with super long - shadowed - super linked - slow motion - ultra combo super finished that are hard to accomplish.
I know KI is not liked here, but fuck them. KI 2 is the perfect fighting game.
He likes the idea of not needing discs anymore. It's a benefit for him.
It's from the console. Seems like there is going to be good games at the conference so it's a easy watch.

yes, copying my discs to HDD and not having to have the discs in tray to play the games and then trading them in at a retailer toward a new game when I'm done with it.

Awesome! I have the disc version, but I'll "buy" it just because. It's not as bad as people say. I'm really looking forward to Lionheads post Molyneux. He reminded me of George Broussard at 3D Realms. Kept coming up with more an more ideas and forcing me into the game and servely hindering development. That's why his lofty promises often failed to deliver. The talent was obviously there, just misguided. I think Lionheads will do great things without him this gen.
Hopefully they show something other than Fable Anniversary at the conference. Maybe the rumored MMO?

I completely agree with your assessment, but I don't think anybody is "looking for a forum that is all positivity and rainbows," simply a place where topics can be discussed without being instantly shift off course by distantly unrelated quips regarding DRM, Always On, Kinect, Television, etc.
I personally haven't done any of the things you've described, and have participated in separate threads as they've come, but honestly speaking, I can't recall a recent thread that hasn't been purposely shit on in great quantity by irrelevant information to the specific topic at hand. It's disheartening to say the least, but as I said, I completely agree with the policy against cliques developing.

Nah, I don't think so. It would be a problem in game-specific threads. But anything under the umbrella of the "experience" "content" "platform" "brand" or "conference" is fair game. But, even then again, some people are interpreting the "DRM is going to get worse" point as games themselves will be worse than the box. So, again, as Aeana said. Mods will decide when it's overboard.
I think it's more from the negative press since the reveal. They are trying to over compensate by showing more games. I believe one of insiders said that was happening last week.

It is a POSITIVE for ME to enjoy my games this way.
I can understand why others may not like it but it doesn't change the fact that I really have no problem with it on the whole.

Okay but why stop people from knowing games are coming to the PS4. Thats low. If they had a big exclusive lineup I bet you they would not care. Its like Diablo 3. These companies man.
Personally, I think it's a dumb strategy considering it's a move that only effects the uninformed, and people that follow e3 tend to be relatively informed. I can understand shifting advertisements to create an illusion that a game is exclusive to a specific console, considering that it's a move that ultimately targets demographics outside the hardcore, but at e3? Just seems stupid and ineffective to me. Having said that, as low as it is, it's a reality of the industry. Both Microsoft and Sony have done it, and both will likely continue to do it.
I think they are trying to associate that said game with Xbox One and not the PS4. Like how COD feels like a Microsoft exclusive even though it's out on Sony's consoles and has good sales.
I don't like what they are doing but I think that there reasoning.

Come on now, All three manufactures want a game to be tied to their console when announced. This isn't really anything to get upset over. Like someone else mentioned, Assassins Creed when first announced was under the cloud of "is it coming to the Xbox?" With that said, MS does want to show off their "games" so they are gunning to get the most mind share from E3. They will have their exclusives, but they are banking to gain the masses attention by having a ton of games being associated with their platform.

A next generation Dead Rising is pretty exciting. It's only appropriate that it's an early game within the generation, considering that the original and its ability to convey scale in terms of enemies on screen, was one of the more memorable ways a developer was able to show the shift in power from the previous generation.
Still a game but Itagaki is not ready to show it according to Famitsu.

Because they have no exclusives aside from first party and some of those go to pc also. MS has demonstrated a complete inability to keep exclusive content for over a decade. People called me nuts on the TXB forums years back for warning MS that not having genuine exclusives will back fire. Now add that with their anti-consumer stance on DRM/used/trades, their complicity in spying on customers since 2007, take further by the fact that your Xbone will monitor your home 24/7 for thought-crime, and their general assholeness about their new console and basically no one has a reason to buy their machine. Unless you want the N.S.A. watching footage of you Kinect 2.0 Fitnessing...Personally I'll buy the PS4 and/or PC versions and keep my privacy and ownership of my games.
Sony does it. Nintendo would do it if they could garner some 3rd party support. Its typical for companies to try and create the illusion that these games may be exclusive.
