Thats all you are going to see at places like gamespot and ign. Neither place has actual consoles or dev kits to run the games live in studio. Are they only going to show the E3 trailer? Great...

That is the best real-time lighting I've ever seen in a driving game, hands-down. I'll take it at 30fps if it looks like that.
The sort of thing I'm willing to put down to an early build of the game. Some things you see in previews you just know will be in the final game... that's definitely not one of them at all.Looks good but the steering animations look very jerky. Could be smoother (more like GT5).
Only 50 cars at launch killed any hype I had for this game.

If they are usb I'm gonna say that they are likely to work. I can't confirm it right now, I'll have to check but I mean, it's the logical choice isn't?

Just saw the "60fps" Gamersyde video. The video may have been recorded and encoded at 60fps, but the game looks like 30fps to me. There's a noticeable difference in smoothness compared to the GT6 60fps video just below on the main site.
Niiiice... So Patrick from Giantbomb did an interview with a Sony guy for 25minutes and asked on twitter for question to ask him. I asked him to ask about 3rd party ps3 controllers like Steering Wheels or Fightstick and the guy said:

WTF @ the handling. Looks beautiful though, love the shades of green and shadowing on the grass and trees, very natural looking.
I think the guy just sucks. Visually it looks pretty good
Graphics are great, not jaw dropping but great for a launch title.
But no damages? Are they taking bad hints from their internal cousins at Polyphony?![]()
Mmm, looks really beautiful. And that guardrail deforming after that hit...really nice.
Man, I swear ANY racing game I want to see gameplay from is usually done by a guy who's never played a racer before.
Eh? There was a good bit of damage on the bumper and license plate when he took that side hit.
The video that's hosted is 60fps. I can't see that video from work, but that might just mean that Blim's taken it at a higher rate so there's no interspersed frames with the camera taking the footage. So DriveClub is 60fps game eh!
I'm guessing PGR4-style damage. Enough to be noticeable, but won't be massive enough so people ask "Hey, my bumper's missing, how come it doesn't feel like it?". So broken mirrors, shattered glass, maybe slightly displaced panels, but I think that'd be it.You mean the paint scratches in the endgadget video?
It seems like damages are really toned down. I wanted to see something like Grid 2. Maybe I got the wrong expectations.
In any case I'll try the game thanks to Plus.
Edit: Just saw the pic you put in, it is what I was referring to.
I thought he was doing it specifically to test the damage. Maybe not.I think the guy just sucks. Visually it looks pretty good

And I thought it was confirmed 30fps?
So DriveClub is 60fps game eh!
Holy christ at the graphics.
lol at " graphics are not mind blowing but nice " what other racing game looks as good as this? forza 5 lighting looks like a cartoon in comparison imo.

Stream says file does not exist and download speed is slow as a snail. Blim!!
I'm almost suspecting it could well be 60fps (but like you, no issue with 30)... the description of the video says "Let's continue our driving games session, with the promising DriveClub, still in cockpit view and at 60 frames per second". Sounds like they're talking about the game and not the video, but it's too ambiguous.Darn I downloaded it before it vanished.
I just saw the video and I realized that it's an off-screen capture. Thus the recording device runs at 60fps. Looks like the game may yet be 30fps (no prob for me).
Project CARS makes this game look not so great.
They say opinions are never wrong, but I think you're the exception to the rule. No way this looks worse that FM5.This game looks the worst out of all next gen racers shown so far. I put my preorder on this game, about to change that tomorrow.

I would say they're close, with PC probably being ahead. Those screens posted above are nice, but the straight gameplay footage didn't look nearly as impressive as the early previews. Also bear in mind that PC is still in pre-alpha. As good as it looks now, it's nowhere close to being finished, and even further from being optimized.DC looks much better than Project Cars
This is project cars http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RKmnOlXM3F0 ..nothing on DC even going by that offscreen cam footage

Do we have any more information on the "PS+ Edition"? Is is the same as the retail version, or will be cut down, like a "Lite" version? The fact that they're making a "special" version of the game for PS+ makes me think it'll be trimmed down quite a bit. Otherwise, they would have just said "Free copy of Driveclub".
