Keifer only has 3 lines in the trailer:

Kaz, it's me. I'm here to get you out.
Kaz, I'm already a demon.
And the bit about a weapon to surpass Metal Gear at the end.

The rest of the VO is Miller (Robin Atkin Downes) and Ocelot (Troy Baker, sounds like).

It was always painfully obvious that Project Ogre was MGS5; every screenshot screamed MGS.

This is one of my main issues with MGS3/PO/PW; in order to make interesting antagonists, Kojima has allowed traits of Big Boss to be broken down and put into other characters.

Big Boss is the greatest soldier ever because he just was... nope, The Boss was.
Big Boss had the charisma to draw anyone to his cause... nope, Gene does.
Big Boss had the idea for Outer Heaven... nope, Gene again.
Big Boss was the driving force behind his mercenary company and Outer Heaven... nope, Miller.
 
So excited for this title but I'm frankly lost with all the story in MGS having only played 1, 2 and 4. I mean the series is spread out on many consoles, and the story is already quite hard to follow. I barely remembered the events in 1 and 2 so had to wikipedia Big Boss, and the stuff I read got me even more lost than before.

Would be cool if Gametrailers did a series retrospective or if some previous story was included as an extra in the game.
 
It's funny, it seems like only Keighley is allowed to interview Kojima? i mean i havn't seen a IGN or Gamespot interview in a while.

Play MGS3 and PW. Those have BB in them and you won't be lost.

Pretty sure it's just shrapnel. Still, Big Boss is in many scenes where it's still in his skull. Probably doesn't bother him and makes him look RADICAL.

maybe that is why BB falls into a coma and when he removes the shrapnel he would die or something like that.

It's all part of Kojima's vision, it symbolizes things and metaphors stuff... We can't comprehend his genius.

It's the stupidest fucking thing in the history of Metal Gear. I hope there's a non-horny unlockable skin upon completing the game once and that all (ALL!) cutscenes are realtime so I never have to see that stupid piece of shit again.

If Quiet is from Afghanistan and was raised there and isn't a Kurd, then I hope she's not Sniper Wolf's mother, since the latter was from Kuwait or something and was Kurdish. Of course, Kojima can retcon that...

It looked mostly amazing, but come one Fox Engine crew, make the transparencies be real transparencies on next gen consoles. Can't believe they went with dithering just like they did on PS3/X360. It's actually noticeable in some parts of the trailer.
 
Goddamn, I just watched this on my TV in 1080p and it blew me away. If this is what next gen is going to look like, sign me up right now. Wow.

Actually, I take the piss but asfter playing all 4 MGS games this year, I'm hyped as fuck to play more. Gotta do PW and Rising, they should tide me over till 5. The facial capture in this alone is utterly unreal.

And as long as somebody at some point says "Snake! Snaaaaaake!" I'll be happy
 
Well for those who haven't watched the interview Kojima has confirmed that GZ & PP will be released together and in reference to a release date they will let the public know soon, idk how soon maybe announce it as a release for this fall(crosses fingers)
