What's this "Maybe PC" thing about?
Kojima said it's being made on a PC so there might be a chance of it coming to PC in the future. But at the moment they're not worried about it, they're focused on the consoles.
Better than an absolute no.
What's this "Maybe PC" thing about?
Kojima twerkin' in spiderman underwear on the twitters?
Partied too hard in the USA.
Going to guess you don't play many character action titles if you consider the boss battles in MGR even close to terrible (this is factually incorrect, not defensible as an opinion).Ugh. I disagree wholeheartedly with your opinion. The boss battles were terrible. If you want a game with awesome boss battles, play MGS1 and 3.
But the issue is that Kojima should have made this decision in 2004, not in 2013. Hayter already played Big Boss in 3 MGS games. It makes no sense to change now, it made sense to change back then.
So, anything Kiefer says makes you think of Jack Bauer? Cause he didn't talk like Jack Bauer.

Given his hatred for pretty much everything about MGR, the latter is certain. This is so wrong I don't even know how to argue against that. Sounds like you either don't like character based action games or are a MGS ''purist".
Given his hatred for pretty much everything about MGR, the latter is certain.

MGR's ray battle was the most amazing thing in MGR.
That and slicing gekkos, guess seeing Raiden doing a number on them in MGS4 and then me being able to do the same made me squeak like a little girl
The boss battles were terrible.
Not to mention the characters themselves had zero depth.
I think it was running on a PS3-like PC all this time. Probably visually it is going to look the same on next-gen but the framerate will of course be better on next-gen.The scariest thing is that PS3 footage from previous trailer, other than resolution, didn't look that much different or less impressive (if the trailer was really on PS3 hardware). Fox Engine is a crazy piece of work.
Ban this dude
Weren't you celebrating MGS3 a minute ago
And it's better this way then MGS4's "let me tell you a long sad story about this character. The badgers killed her family, she still hears the badgers in her sleep, laughing. The badgers..."
MGS purists are funny to me. They hold this franchise where poop is a recurring theme in such high regard, but then look down upon a great game like Rising because it's ridiculous.
Good thing Kojima is on board for more Rising.
Celebrating MGS3 for the boss battles, clearly. You liked MGR's shitty boss battles? Alright, I guess you like shitty boss battles. To each his own.
Cool, you have an opinion. You liked it, I didn't. The bosses in MGR were either too easy, or too difficult. Nothing incredibly unique to them. Not to mention the characters themselves had zero depth.
I'm just saying, you really can't bitch about character depth when you celebrating MGS3 and it's Cobra Unit.
But hey, I heard worse opinions.

MGS 3 is not shit. Go watch soccer or something.
who's the idiot that said MGS3 was shit?

rvy is celebrating MGR and trying to put down the rest of the series. That's just laughable.
Vulcan Raven was born to Native Alaskan American and Inuit parents.[3] He had a large tattoo-like raven birthmark across his forehead and petroglyph tattoos covered his body. His body was able to withstand freezing temperatures.[4][5] Raven was raised as a shaman by his people, giving him shamanic intuition and spiritual abilities.
After that, he joined the Soviet special forces unit Vympel. After the fall of the Soviet Union, he was demoted along with other Vympel operatives following Boris Yeltsin's coup in 1993.[3] Raven decided to leave Russia and become a mercenary for hire, eventually joining Big Boss's mercenary dispatch company Outer Heaven. The destruction of Outer Heaven was FOXHOUND operative Solid Snake's first mission, but Raven and Snake did not meet on this occasion.
Hayter's voice IMO breathed life into Snake's personality...I can understand Kojima going for different direction with Big Boss's voice and facial tech and everything but just listening to Sutherland's voice saying I'm already a demon was like...Well I can't explain well.
who's the idiot that said MGS3 was shit?
I also figured out who Code Talker probably is thanks to the previous definition of Code Talkers that was given.
If Code Talker is indeed Indian, Raven is his grandson or son most likely. That info above also suggests Raven might be in MGS V.

Never claimed it was, learn to read. I like football, yes.
Holy crap. I just realized who Emmerich reminds me of.

The time period is just right too (1984, around the time when Jobs looked like this, and also the year the first Macintosh was released). An intentional homage?
Even the subtitle, "A technocrat who stands his ground", makes sense. Steve Jobs was notoriously stubborn.
Yeah but you like Benfica so it's the same as hating football
You shut your mouth possible Porto supporter.

Franchise means the whole series. Learn how to word shit properly.

How are people seeing a Steve Job comparison (with very, very little evidence or anything to go off of; not saying there couldn't be though) that seems fine, but when I bring up a book named Skull Face with racial issues by an author that has a character of the exact same name in two different series (that character's initials are SS), and who's mother fell into a long-term coma that she wasn't expected to wake up from, there's no correlation or interest?
He isn't saying the franchise is shit, he said people hold a franchise to a high level when a character getting diarrhea or pooping is a theme in some of the games.
Yes, MGS as a franchise has poop as a recurring theme. DO you not realize this? I'm not saying MGS as a franchise is poop, I'm saying there's poop in every single game. There was poop in MGS, when Johnny went to the bathroom. There was poop in MGS 2, when the seagull poop caused Raiden to fall and Johnny went to the bathroom twice. There was poop in MGS 3 when Johnny's father went to the bathroom. There was plenty of poop in MGS 4, where Akiba, formerly known as Johnny, kept shitting himself and /or at the weirdest places.
My point was, you people look down upon Rising as shit because it's ridiculous, but then hold a franchise that has poop as a recurring theme in high regard.
You promised me that there would be a demo.
You shut your mouth possible Porto supporter.
I know what he meant don't stick up for him.
Er, what?
I know what he meant don't stick up for him.
I enjoyed the boss battles in rising.
Do we have any non-youtube HD sources yet?
Why read Homer's Odyssey when you can watch Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief? How are people seeing a Steve Job comparison (with very, very little evidence or anything to go off of; not saying there couldn't be though) that seems fine, but when I bring up a book named Skull Face with racial issues by an author that has a character of the exact same name in two different series (that character's initials are SS), and who's mother fell into a long-term coma that she wasn't expected to wake up from, there's no correlation or interest?
