Super Smash Bros Wii U and 3DS: Info Collection - Dojo, Mega Man and Trailer! 2014!

Wii Fit Trainer's a nobody.

Wii Fit Trainer is a character from a recent game series that had yet to be introduced into Smash, out of which both installments sold significantly more than Majora's Mask did. Her series had its last installment in 2009, and also is going to get a new game come December this year.

Skullkid was important in a single game in 2000 on a system 3 console generations ago, and other than the VC port, has only appeared as a minor antagonist in Twilight Princess (classified as "mini boss" even), which also is outdated.

Out of all the minor Zelda baddies, I'd say Ghirahim, and even Vaati and Zant all have better chances than Skullkid.

Same could be said for Isaac from Golden Sun, but I'm sure many would also argue he's a nobody, heh.

Golden Sun is but a blip in comparison to Wii Fit. I would agree that Isaac is a nobody, perhaps even more than Skullkid. However, unlike Skullkid, there's not really any other characters that are more significant in his own series than he is. If anything, about the same level.

Who has appeared in two, soon to be three games.

Also represents a franchise that hasn't been represented yet.

Fair enough, though I'd personally prefer Skull Kid than the other Zelda antagonists since his has always been my favorite design.

I love Retro.

But I really do miss pirate crocodiles :(.

I agree. I don't understand the hate the Kremlings get.

That's perfectly fine, and I mean no "offense" to people who like him or want him in Smash. I mean, for all we know, Sakurai will put in Skullkid.
I just wouldn't expect it or name him as a likely character.

(I edited my original post btw)

Same could be said for Isaac from Golden Sun, but I'm sure many would also argue he's a nobody, heh.

And those people are awful. Isaac was already an assist trophy and the series got a new game not all that long ago. Plus mixing magic and swordplay could make for an interesting moveset, this isn't counting possible Djinn usage.

I didn't know anything about him till Brawl. But now I really want him in! Or at least Matthew, who I just learned of today.

Yes! Personally I want Matthew. And the Final Smash would be easy to pick. Plus, if they make it like the games, it would be the most beautiful and cinematic attack in the game, with graphics that make me wish even harder for a console Golden Sun, even though I've never beaten a single game...

I was under the impression that the internet loved the Kremlins? Am I yapping my klaptrap in an echo chamber?

So many great characters that use swords. But only a few could get in.

Takamaru (Retro Revival)
Shulk
Isaac/Matthew
Saki Amamiya (Beam Sword/Gun)
Fire Emblem rep., Roy! (It won't happen)
Edit: Prince Sable!

I feel like i'm missing people.

GAF doesn't like 'em apparently.
But I do, I always thought they were adorable and felt bad when I had to kill them in DKC. :(

Other interweb communities seem to be pining for their return, GAF must be the cool kid in the back of the classroom making fart noises.

I got bored again.
Holy shit. You made me wake up my girlfriend laughing so hard. Hahaha.

tbqh Koopaling/Koopa Kids is a group, so obviously it'll deal far more results than a singular character.

Obviously I still really want him in but I couldn't resist making this joke. Know more than a few friends are going to crucify me for making this though :X

Guys, what Pokémon music do you want to be in the game?
By the way, I mean besides Route 10. Obviously, we all accept that as the best modern Pokémon tune and want it in SSB4. But what else?
Route 10 theme goddammit!
As a fan of "The Roost" for Smashville, I think tracks on the more mellow side of things can work out really well. With that in mind, I'll be happy if just one these makes it: Undella Town (Autumn-Spring), Opelucid City, National Park, Village Bridge. X & Y will be out by then, so I assume there will be some of the newer songs and arrangements to pick from too.

I like Bowser jr. :(

Maybe not in Sunshine, but I liked using him in Mario Kart and didn't hate him in the NSMB games (or Galaxy). Maybe it's because he doesn't talk anymore.

At least there is still love for him deep inside GAF. :P I use him in anything he's in, I just love him that much. ^^

I fell in love with the theme to Sootopolis City from Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald.

Probably too late now, though :(

Skull Kid is a nobody. He was significant in one single game that was released 13 years ago. There's much more significant as well as recent Zelda characters that also have much more moveset potential.

skull kid is a fine character. he's far from a nobody, he was in 3 games. they aren't even old games, OoT 3D released just a few years ago. Twilight Princess sold big on the Wii. he's well known enough to generate tons of buzz.

EDIT: I hope it isn't considered creepy. Otherwise, I'll delete it as soon as possible XD

We already have the only king we need.

I'd kill for King Boo.

I always thought it was funny that King DeeDeeDee was
voiced by Sakurai in Brawl
but sounded like a
conniving black dude on that Saturday morning Kirby cartoon
. Lol.

Those arguing that a character has no chance because he/she was in a game from aeons ago... Remember this guy?

Not including Mario Kart DS and handful of cameos in other games, prior to Brawl R.O.B. only starred in two "games" aaaaaaaaaaall the way back in 1985. Where he was nothing more than a gimmick to attract the attention of consumers to buy the NES.

I hope Isaac is in though. Golden Sun needs some kind of lucky break after Dark Dawn.

I don't like or dislike him but I wonder why people dislike him so much. He's had some of the best boss battles in the entire series (SMG2), been in tons of games and his character isn't anything different from usual Mario fare. I figure itit's either being associated with Sunshine or people still hold this notion that his presence somehow stops the Koopalings from appearing which are overated at this point(they were cool in SMW, SMB3 and M&L but have been mediocre bosses since then).

I personally hate him, my reasons being:
1) In whichever game he appears, he is simply way too overdone; you fight him over and over in Sunshine, Galaxy 1 and Galaxy 2. Again, would much prefer to have different Koopalings for variety (which, until recently, seemed to have been quietly forgotten).
2) Blandest design ever. He's just a chibified Bowser.
3) Boring/annoying personality. He's just a stereotypical spoiled brat with no other defining traits. I do realize this is par for the course for Mario, but you can't say that the Koopalings at least seemed to have a more unique feel to each.
4) The only thing that's "unique" to him, that handkerchief/scarf with a mouth drawn on it, looks terrible and way too silly. Indeed, there IS such a thing as "too silly for a Mario game", I'm surprised too.
5) SMB3 is my favorite 2D Mario, while Sunshine is my least favorite 3D Mario.

Hahaha.
Oh man, the Smash 4 reveal has spawned such amazing memes. My favorite still is coldblooded Wii Fit Trainer, but character introduction puns have placed firmly in second.
