Sonic returning to Super Smash Bros., right?
I don't see that. I see the reverse. Fans of Smash are more likely to buy the games/series the characters are from (hence the huge reception to the newest Kid Icarus and Fire Emblem games) than the other way around.
Basically I can imagine someone liking Snake in Smash and buying an MGS game (assuming it was on the Wii/WiiU) more than I can the reverse

I love Bowser Jr. He's a great character
1 - He's adorable
2 - He's funny
3 - He has some great boss battles
Sonic returning to Super Smash Bros., right?
As annoying as the shitstorm that the internet would start spewing on his inclusion would be, he could make a pretty interesting character. Having things like his mechs and paintbrush could make him a pretty versatile and unique character, at least in terms of moveset.
I think he's got a snowball's chance in hell though.
The Wii U is getting three exclusive Sonic games... so probably.Sonic returning to Super Smash Bros., right?
He is acceptable, Sonic isn't too cool for Nintendo, like some other people.
I hope so. I want to have Platsformer All Star Battle.
A lot of people (including myself) would be shocked if he wasn't.
Probably. Considering the 3-game deal Sega has with nintendo.
It both works way, its not one-sided.
Plus that didn't stop Nintendo from putting Snake in Brawl, and I doubt Sakurai gives a shit about it.

Also, Brawl had 41 stages...any chance we see anywhere close to that number in these? Personally, I'd like to see over 30, but somehow I think 20 will be closer to what we get.

yeah fuck guys now im sad again
there's no way this game's multiplayer's gonna function well from here
you know how in Mario Kart DS sometimes you'd shoot a shell and it would stay right behind the other player you're trying to hit sort of lagging for like, 1 second? something as small as that is just gonna ruin everything in this game
...and because Sakurai agreed he would add nicely to the Smash Bros. cast. It wasn't simply a "favor." Snake had to qualify on other merits above and beyond the standing offer from Konami. How does it possibly work both ways? Buying another game for a console you own is a much smaller decision than buying a new console for a specific game. And as people have said earlier Snake was only in because Kojima asked for him to be

And his inclusion doesn't have to serve as a direct point-of-purchase display for it to be in Nintendo's interests. At the very bare minimum, it gets people to look at the system and its offerings who might not otherwise even blink in the WiiU's direction. And it's categorically impossible to deny that Snake adds greatly to the thematic variety, gameplay variety and cultural variety (as in gaming culture) of the roster.
He's already designed. He's a proven property, a known quantity to the Smash community, and a cherished one, at that. There's no reason to take him out, especially given that this time around, he has a game on a modern Nintendo system (MGS3D).
Ha, that was great. BTW, what is that yellow golem that appears at the end of the MM trailer? I've only played MM2 (just started earlier this week) and I haven't seen anything resembling it yet (I still have to finish Heat Man and Wily). Also, in Smash, it would appear it's a stage hazard in the Wily stage, correct?
Snake is NOT in PSASBR. They got Raiden instead. That should tell you something right there. Namely, Sakurai's got dibs.Snake... So did Snake ever get into PlayStation All-Stars? If not, that might mean something....
Hopefully Snake and Sonic are Smash Characters to stay.

I know, it was so frustrating. This is the 3ds, hopefully the online is much better and tweaked.
If not then we'll always have the Wii U version. I'm sure its online will be awesome.

If melee can handle 8 iceclimers at once, hopefully the 3ds version can too
Looks staged.

Why not? I don't know too much about game development, but I'd imagine that the limit of songs, characters, stages, etc isn't just related to hardware. Maybe they are investing less into this game. Maybe they don't have as much dev time to work with. There could be plenty of reasons. Why would this game have less stages than Brawl? Why would this game have less anything than Brawl?
Raiden would be awesome, especially if they included the entire Revengeance soundtrack. Here's my favorite track.Nope, but Raiden did. Truth be told, I'd actually prefer if Raiden made it into Smash because I'm weird![]()

Hold on, can you first explain to me how it makes sense to ignore the numerous online 3DS games and base the probable performance of this game on the very first wifi enabled game Nintendo ever released, published almost 8 years ago, on a weaker system, by a different dev team?
You can say that about half of the Brawl roster, though. It doesn't mean he should be removed.I doubt his reappearance would create the same amount of excitement as it originally did.

Snake's an established Smash Bros. character. He has a ton of fans. He's the most iconic Konami character. It would be stupid to take him out just because he isn't currently relevant to Nintendo.
