I caved and bought a Vita Lego Batman bundle from Target because it was too good of a deal to pass up. Picked up Persona 4 and Soul Sacrifice as well. I have a ton of PSN games from my PSP Go days so I am set.

Any must have PS Vita titles that are out now? My main draw to the system was Persona 4 and Dragons Crown so I am waiting impatiently until Dragons Crown is released.

Get PS+, and you'll be set until Dragon's Crown.

Yeah I need to sign up for PS+ I will definitely get the suggested titles and I appreciate everyone's suggestions.

I have borrowed my friends Vita for a while and the system is absolutely amazing, like I said I just could not pass up the sale so I had to get my own. I am glad to see the community for the Vita not be as negative as I would have imagined it to be. The system like I stated is absolutely crazy amazing and I wish there was more support for it.

Is the framerate really THAT bad?

Just to give you some context, I was able to play AC: Liberation without once complaining about frame rate drops.

Based on the impressions Jak 2 runs the best at a stable 30(?) and 3 is similar but has more drops while 1 is the worst probably floating around below thirty though no one has specified how low it goes yet.

Though if you could handle AC:Lib you should be fine.

PS2 had a funky ass architecture, wasn't there an interview with Naughty Dog where they explained all the crazy shit they did to get Jak 1 as good as it was? Which also could explain why it runs the worst out of the bunch.

I can understand the first Jak because according to Naughty Dog, they had to all sorts of one-off hacks to get the game running. That being said, I expected 30 fps. All I wanted was 30 fps.

It seem mediocre, not bad just nothing great. The first one apparently was like that with the benefit of being exclusive, so + 3 points.

I think I'll buy EM2 and J&D when they hit the sub $20 price point.

I waited a couple of months cause I was sure it will get a price cut at E3, but nope now I'm sure it will get one at GamesCom, but I'm already getting it for real cheap so I don't know if it's worth the wait... not that I can't live without a Vita for a couple more months, but it will be nice to have one

I'm still unsure about which memory card to get... I have a ton of stuff from PS+, so I'm sure I can fill 16gb really fast, but the 32gb is so expensive :/

I connected my Vita to my housemate's PS3 to play Guacamelee several weeks ago, and ever since, I get notifications on my Vita when he turns on his PS3. It's pretty annoying, lol. How do I turn those off? I tried disconnecting my Vita from his PS3, and I thought I did it succesfully, but apparently not.

Biggest games are 3,3 GB so in 16 GB card you will have several big retail games + a few small ones. I still use this card.

Uncharted and Acid were designed for the smaller screen. DotP sounds like it has been designed for 10" and up.

Shit, I have no idea what I did. I connected it somehow to his PS3 so we could play Guacamelee together, and it took an hour to get it to work, and by that point we were disgruntled and tired, lol.

I think we did it via remote play, tho, yes. I don't remember the details clearly, unfortunately. :-\

Edit : Maybe I'm misunderstanding the notifications, actually. The messages I'm getting are "The LiveArea screen has been refreshed", and I just noticed that I have different notifications like it for different games / apps. So maybe it has nothing to do with me connecting to my housemate's PS3 afterall. So, anyone know how to turn those LiveArea notifications off?
