Yeah it can be auto win. Throw the pig, teleport to the other side of the opponent, hit them so that they're behind the pig, throw it, teleport behind, repeat. I call it Pigs Among Us, because it's a bunch of free unblockables (stage interactions are good guys srs) for the most part unless the opponent can get out of the way of the pig.
That and if they use the pig against Scorpion its a free punish for him. He can always position himself to fully exploit it.

-character wasn't designed to be in a "hold back to block game" due to cross up teleport attack.
- hard to Anti air him
- has an 8 frame air normal
- can make you guess 50/50 anytime he jumps in
- supposed +9 on meter burn tp punch.

Dude we have been discussing it in the previous page. There is even a one hour podcast posted going over in great detail why he is broken.

The highlights:

*Teleport punch move is the main reason. It crosses up, is hard to react to, can be used in the air and negates most forms of zoning and interactables. Think of it like a full screen tracking Berserker Slash that can be used in the air.

*Teleport punch is really only mitigating by not moving a lot or crouching. The problem with that is he has another move which is the Hellfire... an unblockable OTG projectile move. So if you sit still he can use the Hellfire.

*J 3 is a sword normal type move with a disjointed hit box, crosses up, leads into a big combo and is very, very hard to anti air.
 
So Scorpion has inescapable fireball traps like ST Akuma? There is no way he's that broken.

broken in the sense that apparently he 9-1, 8-2, 7-3 a good majority of the cast. And the characters that can fight him have to fight him on his terms. That he would dictate the metagame in his current state. It would come down to pick scorpion and learn a character that can fight him. Everybody else is dead weight.

anytime you try to use an interactable he will just tp. Basically guaranteeing a free combo with meter.

Not to mention invincible tatsus and his teleports which allowed him to escape cross ups.

-Teleport hits high, duck it and whiff punish.
-Air teleport can be whiff punished by just about everyone pretty easily.
-Block low or MB b/f3 to mitigate his options.
-Supposed bullshit, block low and whiff punish.

See the theme here? Too many theory complaints, not enough actual work. Yeah you can't really use interactables, but guess what? You can't really do that against Lex or Doomsday with trait up, or Grundy against certain moves. The overreactions and meltdowns are absolutely absurd.

Hey its all tom brady, Reo, Pig, and M2Dave saying this. I'm just saying why people thinks he is op. Hell almost everybody is saying this on TYM.

Also how do you play honest when he jumps in at you? If you stand to block the jump in then you can't crouch to duck tp? Its a 50/50 on jump in.

The problem is, blocking low to beat the teleport is what sets up the hellfire unblockable which is only avoidable by jumping. Jumping or any other form of movement/attack is punished by teleport on reaction. It's even worse if he has meter because meterburn teleport is +9 on block and launches on hit. It's a full screen 50/50 where he basically controls the entire pace of the match while you sit trying to react to what he does. The majority of the cast except for wonderwoman and aquaman can't do anything about his nonsense. Even in those 2 matchups it's still up in the air. BTW, I don't even consider him the best character in the game. He just destroys the metagame too much. Good luck blocking low the entire match.
 
Does anyone know which DLC for Super Street Fighter IV includes Sakura's hoodie alt? I can't seem to find out which one has it.

And Scorpion blows up all those options with Hellfire. You move too much you get teleport punched, you move too little you get Hellfire.
